Diego Lopez will play in about half an hour in front an almost empty San Siro but targets the three points.
Lopez certainly didn’t believe that he would be part of the mess that is Milan when he accepted to move from Real Madrid in the summer and tonight at 20:45 CET he will face Cagliari at an abandoned San Siro.
The Curva Sud is boycotting the match and the pictures (which you can see here tell the miserable tale of the current state of Milan. Regardless, Lopez and co will have to give their all and win the match.
“The objective is to win,” Lopez told the Milan Channel. We want to collect 3 points. There are 11 finals ahead of us and 33 points available. It’s going to be a hard match, but we have to win.
“The whole side wants the fans to come back to the San Siro with the spirit shown in the past and we want them to come and support us again. We want to bring them back to the stadium.”
i respect you the most lopez. if it wasn’t for you, Bona, de Jong, Abate, Antonelli, Menez and Rami the situation would’ve been even worse. please every one let’s stand together and protest the disrespect from Berlusconi towards these wonderful players and us. i really wish Beckham could manage with some investors to save this club. Forza Milan!
lopez you are real champion iI belive in you next season we will have a better team…..
Let the fans continue the boycott maybe these will change situations
