Luca Antonelli and Salvatore Bocchetti spoke to the press after Milan’s 0-0 draw with Chievo.

Inzaghi fielded almost the same XI that beat Cesena last week but the performance he received from his boys was different as they played with no heart and created very little chances but the one thing they did well was to not concede as the defense of Lopez, Bonera, Alex, Bocchetti and Antonelli held on.

“I am happy that the defence didn’t concede a goal. We had three or four opportunities that we could have dealt with better,” Bocchetti told the Milan Channel after the match. “I am fine, and thanks to the coach and my team-mates, I am reaching my peak fitness. We must all give that little bit extra because our objective remains European qualification. We have to give more starting next Saturday against Hellas Verona and win.”

Antonelli also spoke to Milan’s website: “The only positive note is that we kept a second successive clean sheet. We were the only side to attack in the first-half, in the second we had two chances, and Honda hit the bar. My I am a player that always tries to give 120% and here at Milan I will always try and give that little bit extra. Our objective is to qualify for Europe, we will try and give something extra to achieve that.

“I am sorry that we weren’t able to pick up 3 points for the fans.” The next match is next Saturday.

alex and bonera relly bad, i dont think they should be on the team nex year, rami and buchetti on cb are a godt pair i will like milan to exchaneg paletta for buchetti, and then sell zapata and let mexes and bonera go, use the alex on the deal with dede, de jong and bonaventura playd theyr best game ever at ac milan but we saw that when he gives 100 % after 70 min they are done, and i will like to se milan play only menez on the top for 60 min and let him give 100… Read more »

Pa ibra

again they are claiming to be ready to give more next weeken. keep quiet and play! aint you tired of promising.

You cant give what you dnt sorry mr bochetti.

This our dear Acmilan needs a complete revamp in our midfield, we need players with the skills of a coutinho.
renew de jong’s contract let him be the holding midfielder alone, he can do the job.
Midfielders we can possibly look for:
Lars Bender
Mario suarez

Menez more suit playing as a lone striker. When played on formation with two forwards, he always back down to help midfield but eventually its broke milan formation so when the ball in front, they didn’t have choice but to gve the ball back to defender bcause they didn’t have a much option. With a two forwards, I think he is more suit to playing as trequartista. He will be bettter as a striker on two forwards formation if only inzaghi instruct him to stay on his position as a forward and doesn’t do whatever he want.

Inzaghi loves Menez than every one.. We’ve seen enough of the selfishness and Milan a not ready to renew de Jong’s contract better think they go for illaramendi or Suarez sell the Ghanaians keep van ginkel.,,

I hope when Inzaghi sinks, Menez will sink and follow him. i never, ever expected Inzaghi to be so short sighted!!! he saw Allegri do it, and lose his job. i thought he would have learned from that experience and done better but no, he has decided to ruin the larger than life reputation he has built with his skills on the field. i watched a documentary of him again and i was wowed with his finishing. the video also showed montella compared to him. strange it seems now that Montella is being touted as our next coach: now… Read more »
