Salvatore Bocchetti puts the Russia experience behind him and claims: ‘I am now here and my only goal is to do well here and give my best’.

Bocchetti was the first arrival of January to strengthen Milan’s defense and yesterday he was at a press conference along with the four other winter signings and he spoke about his first days with this shirt.

“I feel like I am in a big family. I am very happy. The welcome has been fantastic and I thank my team-mates for making me feel at ease right away. I’ve been here for a few days and it already seems like I’ve been here for long time.

“My experience with Spartak Moscow? I wasn’t lucky with my experience in Russia. I was unlucky with the first Spartak coach and then when the second coach came I got injured and wasn’t 100%. But I am now here and my only goal is to do well here and give my best with this shirt.

“My first priority is to do well with Milan and the Italian national side will come as a consequence. I want to do well here to then go and play again for the Italian national side. I will have more chances to be watched here compared to Russia, but like I said before, a call-up to the Italian national side will come after doing well with Milan. I think there is an extraordinary group of players here.”

Gazzetta doesn’t expect Bocchetti to play vs. Juve; instead Rami, Antonelli, Alex & Paletta will play.

i wish, this team gel together but i am still seeing the the same on and off the form issue. the players are the same as they came ( no form of improvement) or worst. ronaldo, rooney and nani etc were bought to man utd as a medicreos but they are now world class( that is a coach). barca with a good developmental program for their players as a example.
