Ezequiel Muñóz has claimed “I haven’t been informed about anything” but reports suggest that Milan have signed him for the summer and are trying to bring him in this January market.
It has been reported this week that Milan secured the transfer of Munoz when he becomes a free agent in the summer and talks have been held between the Rossoneri and Palermo over bringing the 24-year-old center back to Milanello now.
There are still some time in this mercato (closes on 2nd of February, 23:00 CET) and it’s believed that the difference between Milan and Maurizio Zamparini is €0.5 million.
Interviewed by Milannews.it today, the player admitted a move would be welcome but claims he’s not too aware of what’s going on: “People are talking about this deal, but I haven’t been informed about anything. I don’t know anything about the negotiations. Every player would like to go to Milan.
“Right now I have a contract with Palermo; I must respect that, but we’ll see what happens after that. For the moment, there isn’t anything. Could something happen by Monday? We’ll see, I don’t know anything.”
This is a wonderful news, we say all sort of things about uncle Fester, but it is deals like dis dat makes him relevant especially knowing we have a slim budget… His aura can still influence players.
Hope the deal seals as quick as possible, now get a quality CM, I read Paulinho, a little upgrade I guess.
Top three is still achievable if the right tactics is deployed.
#Forza Munoz
According to reports,Munoz is pushing for the deal to go through. He will meet Palermo President to discuss it.Palermo want €2m while Milan is offering €1.5m to get him now or Palermo lose everything in June when Munoz will join Milan. The deal could be finalised on Monday according to reports.
Galliani shouldn’t have much of the blame but Silvio Berlustingy should be blamed and then the wrong tactics and team mentality should also be blamed.
Sometimes i feel like… If CR7 or Messi were offered to us for 5m euros, we would still tried to drop price to 3.7m… and if we couldnt drop price, we wouldnt sign them -.-”
Maybe we could add Albertazzi into the deal. Maybe… If he comes, we need to get rid some of our current CB’s immediatelly. Zapata,Mexes,Alex,Rami,Bochetti,Bonera, and Munoz, they all can play as CB, and that is too much.To much pressure on our wage budget and not too much use out of all of them. My pick would be Bonera (no way but one can hope),and Mexes (big wage, afwul behavior, running contract)
Our team is finally starting to look decent :) at least on paper anyway
Just sell now Essien, Zaccardo, Albertazzi, Armero and Pazzini !
Very difficult since only Galliani would be stupid enough to buy them.
