Michael Essien will welcome a move to the United States, his agent claims.

Essien is believed to have received offers from several places this January but has also far rejected everyone. Milan are looking to offload the player who they signed last year from Chelsea and his representative, Fabrizio Ferrari, claims there are some solutions.

“A possible Essien farewell? It’s possible, there are several solutions but there haven’t been any real negotiations. The United States? It would be more than welcome for us. Italy? No Serie A team has asked me for him,” the agent told The contract of Essien expires in the summer and if he doesn’t leave now then he will walk out as a Bosman on June 30th.
