Pablo Armero is linked with a Milan exit but the try to swap him with Luca Antonelli has collapsed and he’s also not interested in going out on loan.

Milan signed Armero on loan from Udinese until the end of the season in the summer mercato but he hasn’t managed to convince coach Filippo Inzaghi and the Rossoneri are trying to send him away, especially after signing Salvatore Bocchetti who is capable of playing as a left-back.

Yesterday there were claims that Milan were in talks regarding a Pablo Osvaldo-Armero swap deal but that didn’t work out (Milan are close to signing Mattia Destro instead), just like the proposed Luca Antonelli-Armero exchange. As reported on Gianlucadimarzio.com, that move collapsed as well.

Genoa made an offer to take Armero on loan regardless on Antonelli, 27, who is a product of Milan’s youth sector, and Genoa director Capozzucca met with Armero’s agent Vagheggi earlier today but it appears that the player doesn’t want to take another loan adventure and would only accept a permanent deal so there aren’t the right conditions to make a deal.

Armero is still officially owned by Udinese but since his contract is expiring in the summer in any case they are unlikely to oppose anything should Milan find a different solution for the wingback.

Why not Darmian?

Too expensive

i’ll be glad with Antonelli as well. but i don’t understand Bocchetti’s signing or the attempt on Munoz. we need high profile defenders not low class losers. Veltman young, talented, and full proof, signing him and some other high profile CB is necessary. i believe signing Baselli and a great CDM maybe Khedira is esential. and last but not least Destro please AGREEEE!!! with 5 more players and with a new coach (options: Montella, Sabella, Klopp, Conte…) i think we’ll be unstoppable and i’m glad that we switched to 4-4-2.

Wh…what? I hope there is no truth in us actually showing interest in Osvaldo? Such a crap player and disgusting to have in the locker room. He is kicked out from wherever he has been. I wouldnt mind Antonelli as he has been madly consistent the last couple of seasons. Although he plays as a wing back in a 3-5-2, there is a difference to that compared to a four man back line obviously. Darmian would be a dream.

Did I just read they wanted to swap Armero for Osvaldo? What kind of joke is this?
