Armero: “I can do well”, Vangioni’s dad confirms Milan interest

PABLO ARMERO has again spoken out about his situation at Milan and it seems the Rossoneri already have a replacement lined up.

The wingback, who recently voiced his frustration at his lack of playing time this season, played 90 minutes in Colombia’s 2-1 win over the United States. Armero is on loan from Udinese but it doesn’t look like Filippo Inzaghi has been convinced and will be tempted to re-sign him in the summer (he’ll be a free-agent then).

“Milan know that when I get on the pitch I am strong, so when I am on the pitch there is more chance for me to demonstrate what I can do and what the team can do,” Armero told Goal.com.

“But I am calm, I have not lost belief. I believe that when I get back on the pitch I can do well for the team. The fact that I still play with Colombia (he’s always called-up by coach Jose Pekerman)? I thank God, and I thank all the technical staff because they have shown lots of faith in me.

“At Milan I have played only a little, but happily when I am with the national team I have been given the opportunity. I am working hard, staying active, and I wait for my chance to play a little more at Milan because that will make things easier for me.” There are rumours that Armero may be cut already in January and it looks like Milan have targeted Leonel Vangioni.

The 27-year-old River Plate left back, Argentine with Italian passport, was one of the players that Milan scouted during their ‘South American mission‘. His father, Armando, spoke to Radio LT3 this week and confirmed talks with Milan have initiated. The interest of Milan in Leonel exists, but the deal isn’t as advanced as the press has reported in recent days,” he said.

“I’ve had contact with representatives of Milan and also with the leaders of River Plate. For him it would be the perfect time to move to Europe.” Inzaghi’s side has been struggling in defense as they’ve already conceded 16 goals in this Serie A term.

No we don’t need to see Armero playing first and then regret about it. He is an Udinese reject. If the management does not trust him, that’s for a reason. He should leave in January. Also, he protests like a kid for not playing, where other players like Mexes (with bigger history and contribution) say nothing. The guy is just another nobody, he should leave asap…

El Greco re u trying to tell us dat bonera is better than armero? Da guy kws he is far better than bonera n dats y he is complaining

Muncie

El Greco. The situation of Armero is understandable. You cant call a guy saying you need hes help you want him here and then not play him. Inzaghi has lied stright tho his face. He has every right to Complain.

Pa ibra

perhaps mexes pazzini vanginkel & co have also been told they are important and will play just like armero’s been promised. i’m with him though – he needs to play. but as a pro you cant complain everyday. hope this wont hurt his chances even more.

Inzaghi is like the other Milan coaches e.g Allegri and Seedorf whose prefer to play Sh***t Bonera instead of our new signings. If Inzaghi and Milan Management continue to back Bonera as Milan player, we will never achieve our aims.

IMHO, Armero needs just time to adapt. He is way better backup for the LB position than Bonera or Zaccardo. He shouldn’t leave at least until they have gone.

And of course Mexes is waiting in silence, he has the highest salary in the squad along with Torres.

Cowmagnet

time to adapt? adapt to what? He’s been playing in Italy since 2010.
What he needs is time to play. Too bad Milan enjoy screwing players over to favor others.

Pa ibra

after the sampdoria game inzaghi said that bonera has had a great game and that we will ‘really miss’ him for the derby. he must have been drunk.

Cowmagnet

or high.

Or both

Ok @el Greco let me disprove everything you just said this should be fun. “If the management does not trust him, that’s for a reason.” So since the managment trusts bonera it must be for a reason? They have every reason not to trust bonera and yet they play him every chance they get so uh yea that ones false. “he protests like a kid for not playing, where other players like Mexes (with bigger history and contribution) say nothing.” Well see the difference is Mexes has a huge pay check who the hell would complain about that on top… Read more »

Milan sucks

i know they say the plan on building a team of italian players. but i don’t think it’s a good idea when you play player out of position while there is player who can play naturally on that position. and now management are scouting another player. all that because passport.
i know about professionalism. but dang! practically you shouldn’t lie a bout how much you need a players. if you don’t think you need him then say so. coach decision decide players future. it’s almost like deciding a man future.
