Baselli agent: “Milan interested in him, he could leave Atalanta”

DANIELE BASELLI’S agent believes the player will fit in Berlusconi’s desired all-Italian Milan.

There is still some time until the January transfer market but the first 11 games of the season have shown that Milan are in need for reinforcements and they’ve been linked mainly with center midfielders like Asier Illarramendi, Sami Khedira and Daniele Baselli. The agent of the Atalanta man has this week commented on the interest.

“Milan are interested in Baselli but many other clubs are also interested because he’s one of the biggest Italian talents,” Giuseppe Riso told Milannews.it. “If he could move to Milan in January? I think he could leave Atalanta in the winter window. He’s definitely in the thoughts of all big clubs and then we’ll see what happens.

“It’s possible that he can leave Atalanta because he’s a very talented boy and a great personality, a serious person. He’s definitely ready for the big clubs even though he’s only played 1 season in Serie A and has a great margin for growth. The ‘big’ have realized he can give quality in midfield and he may even be useful to an important squad like Roma & Fiorentina who’ve been following him for some time.

“He’s growing game by game and gets experience. Milan? Anything is possible. He has the quality and can be very useful, especially after the words of (former) PM Berlusconi that he wants a Milan that is entirely Italian. Daniele fits this bill.”
