NIGEL DE JONG has left the Netherlands camp today and could miss the game with Inter.
After losing Daniele Bonera to suspension, which leaves him out of the squad for the Derby della Madonnina, Milan fans get some bad news as De Jong picked up an injury to his hamstring on Monday while on Netherlands duty.
De Jong, who has been replaced in the Dutch squad by Luuk De Jong, left the training camp and he will be checked up by the Milan doctors today to see how much time he’ll have to sit out.
There’s a possibility that De Jong, who scored the winner in last year’s derby, will miss the game with Inter on November 23rd and it would be a big blow for Inzaghi. On paper, De Jong can be replaced by fellow countryman Marco Van Ginkel as well as by Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien.

Wish you quick recovery. GWS
Essien should take his place should he not make it,alongside Muntari/Poli and Van Ginkel/Jack Bonaventura.Hopefully Montolivo will make the bench and play in the 2nd half.
You’re one of those Muntari lovers, who knows maybe u even love Bonera too… #Alegri
Essien, VanGinkel and Jack… Solves it for me.
But can someone ask Inzaghi why we never see Niang play even when Torres and Menez rarely contributes these days.
yes…king muntari will lead the midfield
