ALEX DA COSTA and Michael Essien will be included in the squad for Sunday’s match.

Training today started at 16:20 CET at training center Milanello and it focused mainly on tactics (the tactical phase was followed by a  brief practice match and shooting drills) ahead of the game with Cesena this Sunday as Milan are looking to bounce back from 2 negative results.

The defense of Milan let them down in the last matches but on Sunday they welcome back new-signing Alex. The Brazilian, just like Essien, trained with the group today and is 100% fit for the game against Cesena. Alex will be put back right in the starting XI, probably alongside Cristian Zapata. Ignazio Abate will keep his role on the right but according to Sky, Pablo Armero could replace Mattia De Sciglio in the left-back position. Armero played one game so far, the opener against Lazio, and De Sciglio’s poor form of late might grant him another chance.

As reported by Milannews.it and shown on the Milan Channel cameras, during his visit today (for the 6th straight week), President Silvio Berlusconi had conversations with the underperforming Daniele Bonera and De Sciglio and with the impressive Fernando Torres & Jeremy Menez. Silvio spent three hours at Milanello today, talking to Inzaghi and the squad.

Before leaving using his helicopter, Silvio bid farewell to Inzaghi with a handshake by the lower pitch where the squad was training. Tomorrow’s session starts at 11:30. Departure from Milanello to Forli (via high-speed train) is scheduled for 16.30.

I think bonera is actually a hypnotist who supported Ac Milan and dreamed of playing for us, so he broke into all the managers houses and hypnotised them into thinking he’s a footballer!!!!!!!
It actually makes more sense to believe that than to try and understand how anyone could even think of playing him even in seria z!! But on a serious note I really hope Berlusconi was meeting him to give him he’s marching orders

uslar ses

Please berlusconi if u really want to see ur belove club rise again, terminate this fool contract and send him away….he is slowin us down.we sat 7th with seven points tanx to bonera with his stupid exprience

cocor

Thanks De sciglio and Bonera bench . De sciglio never impress me as ACM fans, he needs to playing like Abate does

Years ago when bonera was in brescia, he was a hot prospect and a future star. But i dont know whats on this earth make him into this kind of defender we have now.

donsky

MDS still has time to improve himself…I still have faith on him…but Bonera already too old…no inteligence as defender…everytime runnning around without marking single man….very slow…poor tackle….disgrace the armband….even reckless Mexes far better than him….
Anyway 3 points against Cesena without conceded. ..forza Milan…

Truth be told, MDS should warm the bench till he wakes up.

It’s a pity that even Zaccardo is better than Bonera at CB,I coula remember Zaccardo-Rami pairing under Seedorf last season in a few matches(Milan 3 Vs 0 Chievo) and they kept clean sheets, even when Zaccardo conceeded a penalty in the stoppish time on which Paloschi couldn’t convert. Zaccardo at CB >>>>>> Bonera. I’m glad that Alex da rock is back atlest he would help when defending set pieces, when he was subbed off against Parma,we conceded a goal via set pieces with the pair of Rami-Zapata,albeit Rami is tall yet we conceded via dead balls just like Rami against Athletico Madrid… Read more »
