MILAN WILL face Mario Yepes’ San Lorenzo on November 5th for the Trofeo Luigi Berlusconi.
The Rossoneri have previously faced Juventus, Inter, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich for the Trofeo Berlusconi but their next opponent will be the Argentine San Lorenzo de Almagro, who won the Copa Libertadores in 2014 and now have former Milan defender Mario Yepes in their ranks.
“It’s now official that, in order to complete our preparation for the Club World Cup, San Lorenzo will play AC Milan in Italy, Wednesday November 5th at San Siro Stadium,” the Flores-based club announced on Twitter this Thursday evening.
It happened 12 times that Milan won the competition, which is in the last years was held in August and against Juventus but the contract with them expired. There were suggestions that Milan will play this game against Manchester United but San Lorenzo will come to San Siro on November 5th. But that’s a long time from now & at the moment the Diavolo are focused on Cesena.
