MILAN ARE looking for a striker and the agents of the Brazilians have offered their clients.
It’s clear that Milan need a new striker after the departure of Mario Balotelli to Liverpool and even the Trofeo TIM, which Milan deservedly won last night, proved that more is needed in attack.
Jackson Martinez remains the top option and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport he has asked Porto to sell him. However, the forward scored last night and then claimed that “I focus on working, I can receive a €20-30m offer but I’ll always respect the contract with my club.” Porto will not accept anything below the buy-out clause of €30m so Milan are looking for alternatives.

Gazzetta also reports that Adriano Galliani was in contact yesterday with the agents of City’s Negredo (who is out of action until October with an injury), Spurs’ Soldado, Hernandez of United and Torres of Chelsea but also got a call from the representatives of three Brazilian players. These players are Fluminense’s Fred, Jo of Atletico Mineiro and Leandro Damiao of Santos. Fred and Jo were far from impressive in the World Cup in Brazil while Damiao wasn’t even called-up but he could leave on loan. Sportmediaset however claims that Milan aren’t seriously considering any of those three Brazilians.
It’s believed that the talks with Roma over Mattia Destro won’t lead anywhere with them asking for €25m. Tuttosport keeps running the story that Milan are serious about Radamel Falcao on loan but he’ll have to (at least) halve his €10m salary.

We need to buy either Falcao, Martinez, or Destro the rest I think will become dead weight just like Milan has dead weight 5-6 players right now. we need to sign either 1 of these 3 guys I mentioned up front, Cerci and get rid of Agazzi(sell)/Gabriel(loan), Mexes, Zaccardo, Vila, Albertazzi and Essien.
We need only Leandro Damaio to support our defensive, but please Gali try work on roma’s striker he is the best option to replace Balo and sell those Ghanaian’s muntari and so call essien

Leandro Damiao is older than Balotelli – he is 25 years old. I haven’t seen him play in a while but would be cautious about signing him as his loss of form has been reported as being similar to that of Torres.
In addition, when he moved from Internacional to Santos for about €12 m, part of the money was raised by a third-party and I don’t think they would want to make a loss on him.
Damaio is far better that Jo nd fred. Sign falcao if possible or Roma’s Destro. I’ve not really watched our game this season but from what I’ve been reading I think the team needs just a center forward, a creative midfielder, and a winger. Then play Honda on a more free role in the 4-3-3 formation. I believe with this, we will win the schudeto……. FORZA MILAN

Anyways. If we could manage to sign Falcao on loan somehow, that would be fantastic, BUT how are we supposed to be able to buy him on a permanent basis after? I won’t even contemplate Falcao at Milan seriously. I just hope Martinez comes, or no one, as the other names that are mentioned aren’t good enough.

OMG!!! depending on my self destructive negative imagination, and considering that De Jong haven’t played for a while now, I think Milan are preparing a swap deal with Man U to bring Chicharito in exchange for De Jong :S I hope I am wrong though. I like Chicharito a lot, he is quick, hard worker and scores a lot. But still, I wouldn’t want Milan to lose De Jong

Milan should sign Pato or taking in on loan. He is the only Brazilian forward I would like to see Milan take a chance on.

Damiao is a good alternative – rated as the best striker in Brazil, eventhough he lost his form due to injuries and missed being called up to the Selecao! He should Be our 1. Choice. Well Jo and Fred is an obvious no. For falcao I’d say don’t waste our time, even if we sign him on loan we can’t keep him. If Martinez would really cost 30mil then forget him but I’ll mad if Roma end up getting him for 20. Damaio can come on loan with option to buy if he does well.
