PABLO ARMERO arrived in the city of Milano today ahead of his medical; the official announcement will be tomorrow.
Milan sold Kevin Constant to Trabzonspor for €2.5 million last week and they are very quick to replace the Guinea left back as Pablo Armero of Udinese is all set to complete his switch tomorrow after the medical check-ups at La Madonnina clinic.
The Colombian arrived to Milano this afternoon and tomorrow the papers will be signed. Armero joins the red and black squad of Pippo Inzaghi on loan for one season but there is not clause indicating that Milan can buy him out next year.
Vecchi: “Lopez hates conceding goals, he can do everything”
After the birthday celebration, Inzaghi is set to meet Berlusconi
“I arrive in a great club, I want to find space here and do well. Yepes and Zapata? Yes, I spoke to some friends like Mario and Cristian and they spoke well about Milan. We’ll work hard to do well for the fans who deserve it,” Armero, 27-years-old, told the press today. “I’ve spoken to coach Inzaghi, he was a footballer who loved to win, he wants to do so as a coach.
“Inzaghi said I have to work with intensity to give my all and give everything to become a first team regular. After the World Cup I rested, I’ve been with my family and friends. Now I have to think about training and giving my best to make myself ready when I’m called up for the cause. Dancing with Balotelli? First I’ll think about winning the match, then I’ll think about the celebration dance. I’m only thinking about working to do well & earning a place here, then the coach will say who plays.
“Our collective objectives are the league and the Coppa Italia and we have to return to the Champions League. My time at Napoli (he was there for half a season)? I thank their fans for the warmth and the affection they’ve shown me. Which shirt number I will wear? I haven’t decided it yet. I’m happy since I’m joining a great club with a great coaching staff and players.”
Later on Monday, Diego Lopez will arrive to Milano from Madrid. Both Armero and Lopez have their medical scheduled for tomorrow at 08:15 CET. Coach Inzaghi is still interested in more reinforcements before the new 2014/15 season begins.
Sick! Zapata and armero in the back is ganna be killer af! ~ Welcome to Milan man
De sigl – Rami – Zapata – Armero
Welcome and good luck!!!
Lopez would make a big difference as our goalie. Atleast he wouldn’t let a simple shot pass between his legs like our err no. 32 *cough cough*
I dont know what to say I don´t like taking players on free transfer for they are players that have fail once in their old club… i just hope he don´t fail at ac milan and is stabel at the left back and can help milan…
Yeahh i have a good feeling abt our defense 4 dis season….hope i m not wrng….forza milan
Good luck buddy
welcome amero wish u luck
guys I am a MILAN FAN and from Colombia and ive seen all of Armero’s matches with Colombia he s very fast compact aggressive I love him he’s one of the best leftbacks in the world in my opinion. Rafa benitez just didn’t like him at Napoli and for Udinese he wont enter into they’re style of play of only 3 defenders. Armero will also bring great unity in the dressing room like hes done everywhere FORZA MILAN and I see a great season on its way! much love my fellow Milan brothers!
Yeah I like him too bad that time in EPL… Why didnt he play more?
wouldve prefered crisicito, but armero is pretty good too, welcome
Welcome ARMERO!!!!!
D guy is simply a beast welcome 2 red n black… Pls bring back our last year second best player (Adel Taraabt) 4xa milan
Welcome
Does anybody know why Rami is not included in the team roster on the Milan website?
He hasnt taken his picture yet with the new uniform lol
LOL!
I like our defence tis season MDS/abate..rami…zapata…armero/MDS….MEXES decent for back up..but read we r interested in mbia (DM) from QPR…..no way..pls sign one for def.midfielder and AM and if possible CD n sell zacco
Good luck to you
I like his style and he is very quick forzia MILAN
I pray he won’t be another constant. Fingers crossed. I would prefer campbel to cerci in the wing. Campbel is young, fast and strong. He can also score from anywhere from the mid-field to the box 18. Would really love him at milan.
remember constant started out a midfielder
Cerci is better dan Campbell brah, period.
Lol hell yes Cerci all the way
Welcome, I’m not sure of his defensive qualities, but let’s hope he’s Da Milan both in defence and attack.
Sign Cerci along with Dzemaili/Banega who are being rumoured, and this mercato will be a pretty huge succes imo. Of course along with some more departures as I expect at least 2-3 more players to leave. Hope this happens, signing Cerci should be our priority, hope it’s done asap.
Forza Milan.
Welcome Pablo Armero,Goodluck!!!
I hope he does well but im concerned that his last 2 moves, Napoli and West Ham, have both been a failure.
I have been checking wikipedia and found out that after the makeover done and recent transfers, Milan paid only half million in total aftet considering in & outs
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2014%E2%80%9315_A.C._Milan_season . I am happy for what have been done till the moment and optimistic. Hopefully new signings will arrive specially that we did not spend berlu agreed transfer budget. Galliani keep thr good work. Forza Milan!!
Armero is an improvement to our current squad but I hope the ‘Mbia’ rumor is false cuz we r nt yet done with muntari/essien
Mbia is much better than Essien&Muntari
Unfortunately I heard we are
Trying to sign cerci on loan with option to buy, I really don’t think cerci would go for that, why would he want a loan unless we promise we buy him at the end of the season or have some clause in it if we don’t qualify for the UCL he can go somewhere else. I’m not really sure how cerci feels but I know he wants UCL football and that’s just my opinion. How do you guys feel about a loan option for cerci?
I think it’s a ridiculous move and read about it too, hope it’s just a game, we really need Cerci and only Cerci, I don’t like the other alternatives that are being brought up. Especially the fact that Cerci has been Pippo’s choice all summer, I wish the management intends to respect the coaches wishes.
Lopez
De Sciglio – Rami – Zapata – Armero
De Jong
It would be the best defensive line for Milan next season. Now Milan have to continue the reinforcement for a midfielder (for Monti replacement) and a right winger (Cerci/Lavezzi/Champbell/Taarabt).
we have cristante, poli, saponara I don’t really think montolivo is the best option out of these 4 players.
Welcome PABLO ARMERO hope u have a better season at milan…now all we need is banega nd cerci period..our defece is solve now to our midfield nd rw..have a feelings this feelings is gona b a killer..juventus u better b ready cause we will show u the diffrence
Sell galliani and this mercato will be da bomb!!!
A much needed fast, strong, explosive and NATURAL LB who can deliver decent crosses and who can add a plus in the attacking moves. So now we have:
———————-Diego Lopez———————–
——————–Rami———Zapata——————–
MDS———————————————— Armero
——————————————————————–
—————————de Jong—————————
Looking good!
we need Pato back now
I have seen his performance lately, he’s pretty good!!!
Welcome to AC Milan. I really hope that this is the end of our LB struggles and that he wil not end up being another Taiwoo, Emanuelson, Constant, Antonini, Vila, or Mesbah.
Vila never got the chance to prove his worth :/
If he had been great in his loans, Milan would’ve considered using him permanently.
Corriere dello Sport reports that Milan could make an attempt at signing Douglas Costa instead of going for Cerci.
MD reports that Milan are considering to sign Barça’s 22-year old midfielder Sergi Roberto. His contract expires next year.
Sadly I think barca will renew just when our hope are at highest point and then they will give a release clause of 10000000000M Euro
I doubt that this is the kind of birthday that Balotelli had in mind: two training sessions and then he has to spend the night at Milanello.
Can anyone give the latest updates about the transfer of cerci????? Is it even going to happen??
Please now bid €15 for either Shaqiri, Quintero, Douglas Costa or Cerci! All classy left footed right wingers!
15M will not get you any of those players. 20-25 more likely, still Milan should bid for them.
Yeah i m totally agree with u….
now i read we are planning to sell MDS (coz no buyers for balo) to fund cerci…no way why cant we just spend 3 million or so on tarbaat (proven player with milan) than cerci (18 to 20 million) and sacrifice MDS thats crazy..galliani dont spoil your decent work this summer
Lopez
MDS Rami zapata armero
monti dejong
menez
ses. balo. shaqri
dream team and possible scudetto winers
goal.com just reported the potential sale of MDS………….hhhhmmm #lipsealed
i will always witch him good luck cos his performance is great in the wold cup
Rumors: Muntari close to Liverpool. if true, we need two new mid grenier, luiz Gustavo and dzemaili . Wingers: you choose; shaquiri, Douglas costa, Taarabt, or cerci.
God forbid that they sell MDS. when Kaka was brought from madrid then, it was rumored that madrid would have option of first refusal on MDS- whenever he is to be sold. well, it never happened and hopefully never eill. he has a long term contract, 5 years or so. so i hope he digs in like E92, and refuses all offers to leave like E92, for whom Galliani had accepted a huge offer, call him to his office dangle the carrot and receive a blunt answer: NO!!! I AM NOT MOVING!!!! i hope MDS sees beyond his nose and… Read more »
Poor milan team even collecting Napoli’s trash. LOL
