KEVIN MENEZ has revealed why his brother Jeremy chose Milan over other clubs and said his client wants to play.
The mercato of Milan is currently stuck as they have to move players out before bringing new ones in but they signed some men early in this window. Michael Agazzi, Alex and Jeremy Menez all arrived on free transfers and will look to make impact.
Menez, like Alex, had his Paris Saint-Germain contract expired last month. He’s currently with the squad in the United States but has yet to debut due to a slight leg problem. His agent, Kevin, has said his brother’s main desire is to play.
Galliani: “Balo 99.9% sure to stay, more Binho offers will arrive”

“His record is very, very positive at Paris Saint-Germain. His first two seasons were big with many assists and many goals (19 assists & 12 goals in 63 Ligue 1 matches). Admittedly, the 3rd season was a bit worse (2 goals and no decisive pass in 16 games) but he was injured and the coach made other choices too,” Kevin told the French website footmercato.net.
“And then players like Ibrahimovic said good things about him. This past season however was a blessing in disguise, he learned many things. He behaved in a professional manner, going to training despite knowing it’d be difficult for him to play on the weekends. A few years ago he might have gone on a clash but he didn’t do it. He’s become more mature, more calm and at this point he’s clearly changed. We decided not to extend the PSG contract when there was an offer, or at least when there were discussions about it. We weighted the pros and cons and finally decided to make the decision to not extend.

“It was not a question of money, but playing time. Jeremy wants to play, and not just play every fifth or sixth game. He would have liked to continue to be there because he’s from the Paris region, but it’s another turn in his career and he’s very happy. Milan? It’s the most successful club in the club, it’s an influential club. It’s also the club that showed the greatest interest in Jeremy and it had an effect on him. We had talks with clubs all over Europe – from the Premier League, Serie A and Turkey.
“At Fiorentina he knew Montella and the director Prade from the days in Roma. Conte also wanted Menez. But perhaps he already knew that he was going to leave Juventus. We quickly dismissed the other options in favour of Milan. The meeting with Inzaghi and Galliani in Spain was decisive. It really had an impact on Menez. To see important men talking about the club’s project, it doesn’t leave one unmoved. They told him that he would be at the center of the project and that he’d be an important part of the club, that he’d be the center of an offensive-oriented game and he’d feel important – the way he likes.
“And then when such great leaders travel to see you – you don’t think too long.” It remains to be seen if Jeremy will be fit to play against Manchester City tomorrow. He’ll probably get a chance to play against Liverpool in Charlotte, United States.
We need a player wit qualities like joel campbell to help the strikers up front. Galliani, please sign the young guy coz he’s very useful n he’s very cheap in the market….worth around £15 million
team obviously needs a fullback & winger. but a midfielder is as important. has been a problem since but we only seems to see it when getting dominated in a match. i like the idea of honda &saponara as midfielders, however they’re not natural CMF and therefore abit risky going into the season and not sure how they’ll perform out of position. i’m only really counting on montolivo (injured), cristante and de jong as reliable starters. poli aside, all other midfielders whose names are not mentioned should go.
Well said Pa ibra
I think Balotelli will be sold and the middle striker will be Menez. There will be a exchange Balotelli – Campbell(+10Mio). So the attack will be SES-Menez-Campbell..
And what will Milan do with the 10Mio?
THEY WONT INVEST FOR SURE :D:D:D
Looking forward to see Menez play actually. He’s very talented, he has just been a bit too inconsistent and has let his temper get the better of him. However, if it’s true that he has matured as his agent says, and with the faith and guidance of Pippo, he might blossom into the player people thought of him to become at first. He’s still young as well. Would be nice if he’s fit against City as we need more of that decisive creative spark in the final third. I don’t think we will be as poor as against Olympiacos, although… Read more »
Galliani himself should just leave Milan and I tell you Milan will rise, his marketing style is filling Milan with non Milan player to make them rich and Later send them to genoa ..Galliani does not respect supporters of Milan because Berlusconis over reliance on him.. Galliani has done a lot for Milan in the past with the help of Berlusconis money and he is now deleting all the good things he did for Milan .. How can Milan continue to be one of the valuable club on world magazines but the like of Tottenham, fiorentina, athletico Madrid and others can… Read more »
an attack of el sharawey, menez and Joel Campbell would be great. add isco to the midfield and sign a proven goal keeper coach. maybe a goalkeeper too like enyeama if possible. release or sell agazzi zacardo, essien etc and bring in Damian for left back then maybe we might make first 3
BUY ISCO BECAUSE MIDFIELDERS LIKE HONDA AND SAPONARA ARE NOT GOOD
