MILAN WANT to buy the second half of Andrea Poli and have said no to Benfica’s official offer for Bryan Cristante.
The transfer window has opened for Milan and they have signed Michael Agazzi and Alex (both arrived as free agents on a three year deal and on a two year deal respectively) and Adriano Galliani & Filippo Inzaghi keep working for next season.
The rumours in the last days are that the Rossoneri are ready to sell Mario Balotelli and replace him with Mario Mandzukic of Bayern Munich but Milan are currently working on some more concrete things, like signing Poli’s second half.

Milan have until June 20 2014th to resolve all of their 15 co-ownerships. Milan Channel has confirmed on Thursday that talks are ongoing between Sampdoria and Milan over the co-ownership of Poli. There shouldn’t be any problems in buying the second half on Poli as Ariedo Braida, who worked with Galliani at Milan for many years, is Samp’s director of sport.
Bartosz Salamon is co-owned between Milan and Sampdoria too. The Diavolo also have to decide what to do about Riccardo Saponara and Alberto Paloschi. Chievo and Milan met yesterday but couldn’t reach an agreement, according to Sky. The two sides will meet again in the next days. Saponara is co-owned between Milan and Parma and he’ll probably go on loan next season and won’t stay with the Rossoneri; it’s unclear if Milan will buy the remaining 50 percent.
Michelangelo Albertazzi, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, will be bought out by Hellas. Simone Verdi and Gianmario Comi will also be discussed in the next 15 days as they are co-owned with Torino. It is reported that Milan want to buy out Verdi and let him stay on loan at Empoli. Galliani will also meet Brescia to talk about the young goalkeeper Stefano Gori.
Co-ownerships have been cancelled in Italy and it’s no longer possible to sign players on this basis (existing deals can of course be renewed). Meanwhile, the Milan Channel confirmed that Benfica made an offer for Bryan Cristante on Wednesday. The Italian press is in agreement that Milan have rejected the offer (Gazzetta reports it’s 4m while Sky claims it’s €3m + €2m in bonuses) but A Bolabelieves that the Portuguese club will launch a new bid in the next summer days.
M’Baye Niang, who is expected to leave Milan, changed his agent and is no longer represented by Mino Raiola; his agent is Stephane Courbis now. Raiola is however one of Robinho’s representatives and according to the Milan Channel, a summer departure is possible. In other transfer market news, Udinese director of sport Cristiano Giaretta has denied talking to Milan over Gabriel Silva and Atalanta’s Daniele Baselli has commented on the reports linking him to Milan: “If I’ll replace Riccardo Montolivo? We’ll see. Nobody has told me anything. It’s definitely nice to be linked with a club like Milan.”
Newcastle’s 23-year-old fullback Davide Santon also reacted to the reported interest in him: “There has been interest from Milan and Roma, but I have another two years on my contract with Newcastle and I don’t know if they intend on selling me.”

Bring back Pacifico and sell Zapata for around 4-6M as he is still young and pretty solid. Alex will take Mexes’ place and Rami alongside him with Pacifico as a back up CB should have Milans best defence in the past 2 years (after TS33 and Nesta)
I hope Milan do not sell Mario to replace him with Mandzukic. Mandzu isn´t the same anymore as he was under Heynckes and he is certainly not better than Balotelli, let alone that he is already 28. The only aspects he transcends Balo are heading, positioning and finishing. He is actually a similar type of player like Pazzini, he still shines in Bayern as a lone striker because he has a star ensamble around him which provides him constanly with pinpoint passes and crosses. He won´t have that in Milan, especially no good crosses.

The star and branding quality of Mario weighs so much on his talent and same reason he’s never playing with 100% concentration. A Mario with 100% of his head on football is a genius but you and I know his problems. Mandzukic is indeed old but he’s more reliable in terms of commitment.
That kid is a wonder kid. I wish and I wish Milan could sign him. He’s great.

In my sense…Cristante,MDS, SES, BALO, NIANG, MASTAOUR, SAPONARA should not leave. Milan should build the team around these young players. BALO is great & he loves MILAN.Why should we sell him while he is improving his off the pitch life & concentrating on football. He is improving day by day. It seems dat Galliani never learns. Stop signing past it free players. If the mediocres are not sold or released Milan fans must demand Gallianis resignation. Look liverpool got rid of Hicks and Gillet. We milan fans can get rid of Galliani. The curva sud is useless. IT was only last year dat they made slight protest attempts. It seems they are also okay with our current mediocre standard. If Milan is to come back to greatness, the fans need to clear enemies of progress like Galliani.
