ARRIGO SACCHI could make his return to the red and black club, replacing Filippo Galli as the head of the youth sector.

Milan are set to sack coach Seedorf and appoint Inzaghi in his place and according to SportsBettingDime.com, Filippo Galli is expected to join Pippo’s coaching staff, leaving his post as the head of the youth sector, a job he’s had since 2009.

Galli helped Milan improve the youth sector and he worked closely with Inzaghi in the past years as Filippo was in charge of the Primavera team. The Rossoneri have already laid their eyes on the replacement of Galli and it’s Arrigo Sacchi.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Adriano Galliani has already approached Sacchi and officially offered him the role. It’s said that Sacchi has decided to leave his role at the Federation, despite the claims he will stay that came from Cesare Prandelli. With Inzaghi possibly promoted, Cristian Brocchi is reported to be replacing Inzaghi as the Primavera coach next year.

Sacchi is of course no stranger to Milan and he worked for the Rossoneri as a coach in 1987-1991, coaching the team that is considered the best in the history of the game. He returned to Milan as a coach in 1996-1997 after coaching the Italian national team for five years. Sacchi is a big fan of promoting youngsters. “Teams in Serie A don’t focus on youngsters like they do in Spain and Holland – and those nations subsequently produce a lot by taking that choice,” he said in June 2013.

Milan’s youth project never really took off but with Sacchi in a position to develop the stars of tomorrow and Inzaghi, who worked at the Primavera, on the bench of the club the fans might actually see youngsters on the San Siro pitch soon.

A step in the right direction.
And before anybody comes up with “why isn’t He made coach of the senior Milan side”,Sacchi’s poor health was a factor why he gave up on active coaching.

Great news from Milan but am not too amazed until what is said is done because of Galliani’s dirty games.
