MILAN CONTINUE to ask for discounts for Adel Taarabt and Adil Rami while the Turkish side appears to want Essien.
Tomorrow is the last day of the season and Milan’s eyes are already in the next as they need to prepare for a year without Champions League football and most likely without any kind of European football as they’re not expected to finish 6th.
It’s believed that money will be even more limited this summer following the failure to make it to Europe and Milan will work to significantly lower the wage bill and reduce the number of players in the squad since there won’t be need for many men.

Report: Abbiati to renew, Amelia to leave & Gabriel to go on loan
Milan are however interested in keeping Adil Rami and Adel Taarabt who arrived on loan in January from Valencia and Queens Park Rangers respectively. The buy-out clause that was set for them back then is €7 million but the Diavolo aren’t interested in paying this much and are working to reduce the costs of the two who’ve been important in Seedorf’s side.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport from earlier this week, Milan offered €3.5 million for Rami. Valencia don’t want to keep him and he wants to stay and even though the Spanish club does not appear to be open to the idea of discounts, Milan have given it a shot with apparently PSG’s Alex being an alternative should they fail to buy-out Rami. Sky Italia meanwhile reports that Milan have been in contact with Taarabt’s agent Kia Joorabchian and that QPR have lowered their demands.
But Milan want even more of a discount from the Championship club. The Rossoneri have time until May 31st to decide whether they want to buy-out Taarabt and Sky reports that they first want to understand who will be the coach next season. In other Taarabt-related news, Gazzetta reports that 2 days ago (Thursday) he was at a nightclub with his agent Joorabchian and former Inter and Genoa midfielder Houssine Kharja until 4 AM despite having training the following day.
Rami and Taarabt could stay but Michael Essien, another January signing, could be on his way with Rai Italia reporting that Besiktas are interested in the Ghana man and intend to offer him a €4m a year contract if Milan let him go for free.

Okay, its good to see that milan are trying to buy these guys however this entire news could be good or bad. Now that Milan want to “sell” players means as they wont need many men, hopefully that means they will be selling the “rubbish, old” players such as bonera, mexes etc. Or this could be bad news as Milan are in demand for money and dont need many men so as a result they might sell our best players such as “EL Shaarawy, Balo, Montilivo” etc… Or they would try to reduce the wages of some of the good… Read more »
Looks like: Amelia, Coppola, Zaccardo, Silvestre, Zapata, Urby, Essien, Nocerino, Birsa, Robinho, Matri, Traore, Vila, and Constant will all be leaving. Abbiati will renew, while Abate, Mexes and Pazzini may leave for a good offer. Mexes will be offered an extension for 2 years, but with a salary of 2.5. Alex will join regardless of Rami signing. Vrsaljko from Genoa will be Abate’s replacement, while Criscito will replace the LBs. Milan will offer Agazzi + Cash in order to get Marchetti. From Torino, we might arrive Cerci and Darmian. Paloschi may be given a chance with Milan for next season.… Read more »
reality check for u my frnd is required
u r talking abt milan where gillani makes every decisions
until n unless gillani dies or berlu instills money nothing good will be ever done in thousand years
only reporting here…
I’m all for Darmian arriving, an old Milan youth product. Although I hope Vrsaljko don’t arrive and we get Darmian instead, he can be a great addition to our squad with hopefully Abate and De Sci remaining put. I don’t dare to dream about Cerci as I bet he’d be too expensive.
Marchetti is old and have played less this season,i would prefer selling Abate(10-12m),Pazzini(10m),use the 10-12m from Abate’s sell and buy a LB,and that of Pazzini for Agazzi+6m for Perin than paying a whole 10m for an old Marchetti, the remaining 4m to buy up the half of Poli, swap Nocerino with Torino’s RB Darmian as MDS’ backup.Urby,Amelia will leave for free, hopefully Allegri will come for Matri,Muntari and Zapata, then we can include Birsa,Saponara(loan),Traore+cash for Cerci, and then wait for suitors for Constant,Robinho and Mexes, and allow Essien to leave to create space for Cristante and then buy a good CDM to replace Muntari.
but this Milan have no money to baye no new players so I am afraid that this team will be the same next sason is hurt but that is the true milanist freand and brother
So let me get this straight. Milan refuse to spend 7mil on Taarabat and Rami two top class quality players but we didn’t hesitate to spend 12mil on a useless Matri and 10mil for an old Marchetti who hasn’t played all season. This is pure madness!
Extending abiati’s deal by another years and sending gabriel on loan to catania means agazzi will be bw the post next season, the after gabriel will return from loan spell if he does well to take his place as first choice.
we need a gk but there are entire departments where we require enforcements before we sud thnk abt gk bcoz at the end of day even top level gk cant save every shot maybe a loaned gk can even work
I thnk our entire team requires work before we thnk abt shelling out money for gk department
-A GK will be amongst the first buy’s.I wonder when will Robinho leave ACMilan…
Elsha,Tarabt,Niang,Kaka,Poli would be a great force …but we need the most one quality CB next to Rami and Goalkeeper ..i would get Perin
I know everyone likes Taarabt but to be honest I can live without him. He´s good, but too selfish, and with him in the team there´s fewer chances for SES, Saponara and Mastour, or if SES and him play then Honda probably doesn´t, who I think will become one of the best players next season.
If we could get Cerci, I’m fine with Taarabt leaving, although Taarabt has been a fine addition to our squad. First things first, what needs to be done is to reassure Seedorf as the coach. I know we can do great things with him as he has clear ideas, and with a good mercato (listen to Clarence’s ideas) we can go far. I just hope that Abate will be back as RB and De Sci as LB in Clarence’s eyes, that’s the only flaw I can see at the moment as Constant, even though he’s improved is nowhere near any… Read more »
Yeah up till now i wonder how constant is getting more chances than Abate
With mastour nd elshaarawy milan dont need to bother about signing taarabt anymore..but its wil be a good thing to sign him…cant wait to see mastour start his drible skills against helpless sasuolo,FORZA MILAN THREE POINT FOR MASTOUR
Japanese players always take a year or two to warm up. but hey since when a japanese player disappoint more than his debut. I think none, they all become bettter n better, maybe patience with honda, but to be honest il would sell him 10mil+ taarabt idk, its been a confusing performance by him, like how he drags the ball sometimes, but he miss some stupid pass/or passing opportunity.
Mastour i feel like he will be like patos debut, score or impress alot. Hope so. f*ck it would be sick to have a 16 yr playing well in milan.
