Nosotti: “13 certainties for Milan’s next season, 7 in doubt”

46

MARCO NOSOTTI has discussed Milan’s plans for next season and said 13 players are almost certain to stay.

Milan have done well recently with coach Seedorf at helm and are looking to secure a place in next year’s Europa League but it’s clear that the squad will change in the summer and Marco Nosotti spoke on Wednesday about the squad’s future.

Milan looking to cut Taarabt, Rami and Poli costs
Muntari: “I’m feeling better, Milan have to keep on doing well”

“Before we talk about the market we have to settle certain things: who will be the coach? Clarence Seedorf? Who will be in charge of the mercato? (Vice President and CEO Adriano) Galliani? And between those who will choose the players? Having said this, it must be said that that large investments will not be made,” said the Sky Sport Italia reporter, Nosotti.

“The certainties for next year are Balotelli, Kaka, Montolivo, De Jong, El Shaarawy, Zapata, Bonera, Abbiati, Poli, De Sciglio, Cristante, Petagna and Coppola. The total salary of them is €24.4 million net. In the category of players that are doubtful we have Abate, who can be a source of income. Pazzini may want to play more and the future of Muntari depends on who sits on the bench next season – same goes for Birsa and Emanuelson. Taarabt’s and Rami’s futures depend on the discount.

“Here’s the list of the doubtful: Pazzini, Abate, Muntari, Rami, Taarabt, Urby and Birsa. The total salary of them is €10.4 million net.” Obviously a lot can change, especially at Milan where certainties become doubts when the right offer arrives.

I’m sorry but taraabt is a necessary purchase in my opinion. If we lose out on him it will be a mistake he brings something fresh and new with his ability to take on players that we haven’t seen in recent seasons. The other necessity is that we need to keep seedorf and let him choose the squad. I always sat on the sidelines when a lot of you would criticize Galliani and want him gone because of the great things he’s done in the past. but if he wants to interfere with the rebirth of the club I’m sorry… Read more »

Taarabt is good but I could live without us not buying him, we have to buy Rami though, decent CB’s for that price are extremely hard to come by.

I agree on Greg if we have to choose ONLY 1 player to be purchased between Rami and Taarabt. Rami is a rock at back & it’s true that “decent CB for that price are extremely hard to come by”. For those who disagree, name me another quality CB with that price. Even if there is/are, he’s most likely still a raw talent & unproven in Serie A. Rami is good & he’s proven himself. Therefore, in my opinion, he is a MUST BUY for Milan. Don’t get me wrong, I like Taarabt as well since he offered flair and… Read more »

Who would fill taraabt’a role in your opinion greg? I don’t think anyone on the current squad can give us what he gives us.

El Shaarawy..even Saponara might be as good if he gets the chance

cmon u can’t compare saponara to taarabt. technically he’s superior; great finishes too.+ he’s proven himself to be a key player. elshaarawy is a left winger and will not change his position. in cam i want to see honda and who is going to play on the right side if they stick to 4231?

if whats said here is the actual plan for the summer, then i am fine. and as Rkay said, its always right for the coach to choose the neccesary players for his system.,, and galliani should be made to understand that.

PS please what post is mr nosotti to milan?

I like Taarabt but people are forgeting that El Shaarawy exists and is our future on the left wing, not taarabt. I know that he can play down the middle or on the right… but we have kaka down the middle, and we need someone new on the right, someone with pace, and can score but also cross. So I think its safe to say we can live without taarabt

Are people forgetting that we also have Honda? lol. el sha honda and kaka/niang on the right is fine in my opinion.

certainly not forgetting them 😛 just that those mentioned above are the major concerns.

Me personally, I think that Milan would be seroius threat if they had someone like Hulk or even Kevin Mirallas on the right wing.

An attack with El Shaa, Balo, Kaka and Hulk
would be amazing

just here to remind people of the not so famous competition of #allegriout or #moyesout..which team would win! milan won once again.Forza Milan
About the article :now i am not so sad about bonera.at right back he is good!i always notice he has good passes.

how do milan’s management and fans even make sense? it’s like this since the time when they decide a key playmaker for a big team like italy is finished.Just common sense,if he was finished why was he playing in a national team, players even on a decline (but still good aren’t usually used in national team eg kaka). So how is it are fans+management even thinking of not buying the two who are among the best performers. I am sure whoever else we will buy wont be worth it!

If we get someone new for the right to replace taraabt who is of equal or more quality maybe I can accept it. But there’s no denying he’s something special. I guess well see how the summer mercato unfolds. Should be interesting.

taarabt well be an important player and i think seedorf likes him alot. you cant ask for anything more than SES and taarabt on the wings.

Damn,we would be stacked in attack. El Shaarawy on the left, Honda/ Kaka in the middle, and taarabt on the right. Saponara and Poli can be used as substitutes.

Thats false bro Taarabt is an important player for this team and in my view his a better dribbler than EL92 on the other hand when it comes to pace EL92 has the upper hand but it doesnt mean Taarabt is a slow player

Seedorf must be left alone to pick and choose he’s players as he sees fit, he was involved in milans last competitive team and knows the caliber of player and person needed to play for such an important club, just look what Alex furgeson accomplished at man utd when he was the only one who decided what players came and went? They had success for 22 of his 26 year tenure

Taraabt has to adapt on the right wing. The left wing belongs to SES(the saviour). Also, I think Seedorf should consider alternating the formation with the 4-3-3 in order to alow natural MFs like honda and poli to play in thier natural positions, and also make space for cristante.

also we await the arrival of a new assistant(jaap stam) and strikers coach. Galliani’s job should just be to negotiate. Let Seedorf and his staff choose the players, PLEASE!! Galliani should not be involved with what goes on on the field.

Protest!,Protest!!Protest!!!.
Those guys in Italy should protest in these 4 games left for the season to be over against the management for Seedorf’s future,he must be our Alex Ferguson(long term coach),and also against the sell of De Sciglio or SES or Balotelli,i wish i’m in Italy or Milan.
We must sign Taarabt and Rami,Taarabt can always be a back up in both the LW and RW attacks if we eventually gets Cerci.
I would love our CBs to be-Rami,Astori,Bonera,Doria and Pacifico.RB-MDS and Pacifico,LB-Juan Bernat of Valencia and Lotti.

Guys cmon el-shaarawy is very overrated he is wayy too predictable as every single time he cuts back to the right that’s why he fell off not because balotelli came just defenders got a hold of him, even at his best elsharrawy is not nearly as quick and skilled on the ball as taarabt he probably has a more accurate and harder shot, maybe better finishing but dribbling and movement wise taarabt is better than anyone we have in the squad right now. if you guys noticed every single game we excelled taarabt excelled, when hes not playing right we… Read more »

Apparently Juve has agreed personal terms with Alexis Sanchez, and we are sitting here wondering if we can afford 14 million? What the heck happened to Milan? Im disgusted. Juve with Sanchez is not a good thing at all for us

A List of things I hope happens at the end of this season to a new Era of Milan. 1. I said at the beginning of this season that I see Galliani leaving soon, I sure hope this happens for real. Galliani needs to be gone for Milan to settle, we definitely need new ideas, Galliani’s ideas are outdated. 2. I hope Berlusconi finally deems it fit to sell at least 30 percent of Milan. According to GDS (Milan have received a €500m offer from Peter Lim. Zong Qinghou is also considering to make an offer. 3. Should the above… Read more »

Saponara hasn’t been given enough time to fully demonstrate what he is capable of. I think we should definitely purchase Rami & taarabt and also get the services of poli… we must do everything in power to keep de sciglio/SES/Balo, I don’t like these rumours about de sciglio and Madrid possibility not at all!!, how do we expect to have a good future if we are selling the future stars true rossoneri players.. anyway #ForzaMilan

Hasowayne

Yeah.. Hence the reason I said.. ”I hope he convinces me” He definitely hasn’t lived up to the hype for me, I’ve seen him play enough to judge him. Cristante hasn’t gotten much chance either but whenever he’s handed the opportunity, he explodes. That’s the difference and if I am right, I think Saponara has featured more this season than Cristante, correct me if I’m wrong.

Agnelo Baptista

Agnelo Baptista

oh yes, you are correct but I think we should loan him out or keep him depending whether kaka/robinho/birsa leave Milan this summer & I think niang would do well in this Milan set up with seedor because he has the workrate and pace that goes well with this set-up, he has a good cross on him but the only real thing he lacks is his finishing touch but I think we should bring him back as a back up for the right side n the 4-2-3-1 system.. what do you think?

@ Bula, you can like our facebook page ”Milan Fans”,there you can get any news about Milan before it appears in this blog,Thanks to our Admins in Ricardo Moha,Arvindo etc.Or you add me on facebook via ”Ifechukwu Mbanude” and then like the page.
The report about Peter Lims offer of 500m for 70% of Milan also said that if it is accepted Peter Lim will still allow Mr.Berlusconi to be the President despite owning 70% of the Club if the 500m offer is eventually accepted by Mr.Berlusconi.

With a new investor, we can build our stadium, keep Poli, Taarabt, and Rami, and sign some players to get us to the next level.

My realistic targets:

Perin
Doria
Coentrao
Sandro
Clasie
Tello/Cerci
Ramirez/Maher(if Kaka leaves)

Get rid of: Bonera, Abbiati,Coppola, Muntari, Urby,Birsa,Silvestre,Robinho,Mexes,Matri

And let some primavera players play

We absolutely need 2defenders and a keeper that are our real weaknesses (we need more than that but, keeper and defenders are our must!!!)

And also keep Seedorf
