Highlights: Lazio 1-1 Milan

31

BOTH LAZIO and Milan were equally poor at Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening. The two sides were unimpressive but each got a goal: Ricardo Kaka’s shot took a deflection off Abdoulay Konko in the 43′ minute to give the Rossoneri the lead. Alvaro Gonzalez scored in the 61′ minute with a header. Lazio and Milan had some chances to win the game but couldn’t take advantage of them. Fair result as neither side deserved more (some would argue both deserved to lose).

Our current situation is like the sinking titanic..
Our best players cannot survive (Ibra, Silva, now maybe: Ses, DeSciglio, Balotelli)
And what survives are our history, the mediocres players and B&G..
And Milan stood for the modern ship which is now destroyed..

but still forza milan!

I remember they told us that they focusing and spending to much money on youth team. Ironic isn’t it. If they don’t want to use youth player than just stop throwing money for youth team and focus to first team only. This team is losing d direction what they want to be. This is STUPIDITY. Fix all d part of milan, from d root, d management.

Very important to have avoided defeat. Good or sexy football can wait for now. All that mattered was to avoid defeat and the team just did that. Kudos to all. Pls dont critisize any player or the coach again till the end of the season. Lets just show them love & support throghout d remaing matches.

Mexes actually had a good defensive game today tbh. But in TODAYS line-up, De Sci, Rami, De jong, Kaka, Poli and Pazzo are the ones really worth keeping imo. Honda should still be given time, a proper pre-season etc. I hate saying these things because I feel so bad towards the players I don’t mention because I support them all whenever they’re on the pitch; that’s why I said “REALLY worth keeping” because these players really fight for the shirt and if all eleven players out on the pitch fought like they did, we’d be in a better position. Just… Read more »

Ok seriously guys who is worst? Seedorf or Allegri? I would say they should be judged by certain achievments. ! – Results 2 – Style of play 3 – Hope (How much time has been given to youth prospects?) 4 – Transfers Well Ive heard all the usual cliche of give him time, he has just took over the team, it takes time to get his ideas across and so on. I am not interested. If he was too inexperienced or is unable to at least provide a clear vision of the future then he should not have been appointed… Read more »

Very good analysis and statistics you have there, but the only thing which makes your arguments and points invalid is… Allegri is a coach with experience.. Seedorf is a coach without experience, never coached for a day before he was called up. So if you are to blame anyone, blame the Milan management for taking up an inexperienced coach for the Milan Job.. Seedorf is only being made a scape goat here.. Over here where I’m from, the top jobs are always kept specifically for those with experience.. Seedorf is no Jesus Christ.

your points are good and correct but however the truth is that even if you bring jose to this milan team we will still be strugling. you keep talking about youth project if you bring in youth palyer at the time of distress you tend to damage their mental development, and for me i never see anything promising in saponora but christante is a tallented palyer but believe me the management is the problem of this team they have given seedorf their cler ide and that what he is tring to implement you can keep out tired legs on the… Read more »

One of the easiest way to ruin a footballer’s career is by playing him out of position. Allegri did it with Boateng but the boy was lucky to find an exit. What is the logic behind Seedorf’s stubbornness playing Honda on the right? Seedorf was told many times during pre-game press conference that Honda CAN’T play there because he doesn’t have the physique, pace, power and work rate to play from wings but he insisted. Honda is gradually being seen as a failure in Italy because of Seedorf, why can’t he switch Kaka to the wing for once and see… Read more »

Directing your frustrations, disappointments and anger towards.. Seedorf, Balotelli, Essien, Muntari, Abbiati and all the rest garbage players is a total waste of your energy and time.. When the head aches, you don’t take medications for stomach pains.. We all know the problem is from the top and until that is fixed, this Milan will only keep deteriorating which is what has been happening since 2007…

Spot on (let’s put out past differences behind us)
After all, it is the management that has put us in this situation, instead of focusing on youth – like they stated themselves – they go for free transfers. The most recent one is in january, when we could’ve gotten Jorginho, for not a lot of money, but we signed Essien instead. It’s not Essien’s fault, obviously he’s trying on the pitch, it’s the management that should be blamed if anyone.

I totally disagree with you and let me ask you these questions; 1.Is our squad (as bad as it is) not better than Parma, Atalanta, Verona, Torino, Lazio and Sampdoria who are ahead of us in the standing? Not even Inter are better if you look at our squad in terms of quality even though is still below par. 2. Do you blame the management for a coach’s decision to play his player out of effective position? Milan’s problem is both administrative and managerial. As much as Galliani is doing his damages to the club, Seedorf is not helping either… Read more »

Let me also ask you this… Who employed Seedorf? Knowing fully well that he’s a rookie coach?

Spencer

I still insist that seedorf is not yet matured enough to handle this milan side. He should perharps complete his coaching trainings just like Gattuso and co are doing! I think coaching has become a new trend now, every newly retired player wants to jump into. Zidane was more of a legend and better player than Seedorf, but why wasn’t he just handed the madrid job!? He needs time to mature properly and perharps learn more from an experienced coach like Ancelotti. So I think at most, seedorf should have started from being assisstant.

candreva is nt just an ordinary player mind you…….he is decent……the worst he gives on the pitch of play is average if you watch Lazio and Italy often…..haven said that….you all should have noticed seedorf as a stubborn character even during his playing career but talk less…people with that kinda of demeanour are more vile……..what irritates me now about my darling Milan is abbiati abate muntari kaka and balotelli….and the insistent use of Honda out of position…..Honda is more intelligent than even the kaka of the mid 20s(pacey)his passes her wonderful….his goal threat is nt bad either…..so why use him… Read more »
