MARIO BALOTELLI should be 100% fit for the Champions League playoff games against PSV as tests were negative.
Milan have received some good news on Friday morning. After learning that they will face PSV Eindhoven in the playoff stage of the Champions League, they’ve also learned that Mario Balotelli will most likely to be fit to these important players.
Balotelli had to leave the pitch in the match against L.A. Galaxy, in which he also scored one of the two goals, and the initial assessment of cramps was later replaced by a muscle strain to his calf but tests today have shown it’s nothing serious.

“A.C. Milan report that the tests carried out Mario Balotelli’s calf this morning produced no negative results,” a statement on Milan’s website reads. Balotelli’s presence is obviously very important against PSV as Milan don’t have another fit center forward with Giampaolo Pazzini injured and Andrea Petagna having very little experience in the Champions League.
Ignazio Abate, Mattia De Sciglio, Philippe Mexes and Robinho are also expected to be fit for the game. Daniele Bonera and Jherson Vergara will certainly be out for the PSV game while no one appears to know when Riccardo Saponara will return.

Very, very good news! It’s a shame about Saponara though, it would’ve been very important for him to get to play during pre season and gel with the team…anyhow, wishing him a speedy recovery so he’ll be fit at least for the start of the league!

Something must be done about these injuries. It is really a matter of urgent and great concern. The injuries can affect our sseason so a solution MUST be found. Great news dt Balotelli et al will be available.
Saponara joined and was not fit, and had a previous injury, he will be okay till the champion league playoff
