ANDREA PETAGNA is a wanted man in Europe according to his agent who claims Allegri has a lot of faith in Cristante.
Milan promoted two young players from the Primavera team to the first team this season and Bryan Cristante and Andrea Petagna have already showed a lot of promise (along with some less promising things) in the Trofeo TIM on Tuesday.
Cristante and Petagna were both born in 1995 and they are best friends of grew up together at Milan’s youth department and are now living in the same apartment. Giuseppe Riso believes the midfielder and the attack have a great future ahead.
“Petagna is ready and has already proved that he has important qualities: he scores, but he’s not limited to only scoring – he’s also an assist-man. He has an imposing physical structure, he’s unique and has a great eye for goal. But of course he still needs time to grow,” Riso, the FIFA agent who represents both Petagna and Cristante, told spaziomilan.it yesterday.
“The Primavera? If during the year he’ll play for the Primavera it would not be a step back, instead an opportunity to play with continuity since his muscle structure requires frequent and continuous playing time. It might be ideal for him to play under Inzaghi. Petagna is one of the strongest strikers that were born in 1995 and can become one of the most promising players in Europe. He’s been training at his best and is having a great time with new friends. He’s learning a lot from Allegri.
“Every day Allegri spends a lot time giving him advise. Petagna is very happy. If Petagna has offers? For several months now there have been 7-8 top European clubs that are interested and asked for information: in Spain, England Germany. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Chelsea and Hamburg are also following him and have come forward in this transfer market.
“But for Andrea, Milan is a priority: the most important club in the world. Cristante? He is ideal in front of the defense. He’s only a surprise only to those who don’t know him. He’s certainly a midfielder with an incredible talent, he’s a great player. Milan consider him unsellable and Allegri believes a lot in him,” continued Riso. Cristante is Milan’s #24, Petagna’s #37.
The Milan fans can expect Cristante and Petagna to continue to feature in this pre-season. The next game is tomorrow against Valencia at Estadio Mestalla (kick off 20:00 CET). On the final day of the month, Milan play Manchester City.
