KEISUKE HONDA is unlikely to join Milan this summer as CSKA Moscow have decided they will not sell the player.
Today was supposed to be the Honda day as the deal seemed to be closer to its conclusion with gaps between Milan and CSKA Moscow significally reduced, the Russian club surprised everyone and decided to reject Milan’s offer and keep him.
Honda told the club he wants to move to Milan and had agreed his Rossoneri terms a while ago but it seems that the move will not happen until January, which means Massimiliano Allegri will not have the player available for the UCL.

The meeting between Honda’s agent Hiro, who was assisted by the FIFA agent Fabrizio De Vecchi, and CSKA Moscow’s general director Roman Babaev started at around 18:00 Italian time and in the evening the answer of Babev and CSKA was clear: they will not sell Honda to Milan in the summer. Keisuke will therefore join Milan on a free transfer in January.
According to the Italian press the reason CSKA won’t sell is because the player they had bought to replace Honda, the Bulgarian Georgi Milanov. got injured and so they want Honda to stay at the club so they can use him in the Champions League. This is obviously bad news for everyone but CKSA as Honda, his sponsors and Milan were all hoping that a solution could be found so he will join the boys of Allegri already in the next days but now acheiving such thing is a difficult.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Hiro and De Vecchi are set to leave Moscow and no further meetings are expected. But Honda refuses to give up a move and will reportedly meet with the CSKA President again today to ask to be sold.
shame
We’re screwed!
cska moscow is the most annoying team in europe, how can they be so immature.shame on them!
4za Honda!, the whole of milan is behind you….
Now go for eriksen!
Sure, sure after that Milan will go after CR and Messi.
why did juninho get downvoted??? LOL its the truth
People without a sense of humor. Lmao.
ok he’ll come in winter, bring Eriksen or Ljajic !
Ljajic is a very very decent young prospect … i feel even if we have to have an extra player in the squad but if its Ljajic then I feel its worth it.. we should get him..
I knew it all along that he wont be joining in the summer
Milan have the money but dont want to spend it so we look embarassed every transfer season! Galliani must be dillusional if he thinks clubs are going to sell their players to us for cheap!
its better to spend money and get quality than buy players no team wants and then we get stuck with them!
This is just sooo stupid and ignorant!
What money did Milan have, huh? Milan is (oficially) not broke but obviously just don’t have the money. It isn’t called cheap, Milan just simply can’t afford the transfer. Fact is: “the club’s dying” but have a shot to bounce back atop at the european elites
So now it is you who is just sooo stupid and ignorant!
HAVE FAITH
Let’s wait and see how they progress to round 16 of Champions league they are expecting.. F them with their fatuous executives.. That’s their problem not ours.. We’ll save our money for another weapon. Hope he joined on January..
great so he’ll play in the UCL for moscow and he’ll be cup tied by the time he gets here
How come you wanna keep a player while he is not interested to stay. His performance will be down and no reason to let him stay, bad management whenever a player asks to leave just release him cause he will feel down. He will not give his best in the CL as expected as he knows he is going to Milan and will not be part of the team. A good example is robinho last year, he wanted to go back home and he couldn’t, he was bad and not motivated at all. Those richy clubs think that money is… Read more »
Ouch.
Yesterday all thought that Honda is done deal and all are celebrating, but I didn’t celebrate because I Knew that don’t celebrate until it is official. Today it prove that I am right. I am totally pi$$ed off with this Hinda saga, I don’t know he will come or not. Now I even not sure about his January move. God Please Help Us.
FORZA MILAN.
galliani will now pull out his big guns, chillax
The deal can still be done if Honda force a move. He should send a warning to them by skipping training.
Why not an exchange? Emanuelson or KPB for the Japanese if the need someone right there so desperately? or any young dude from Primavera IDK anyone that can supply their offer… anyway the guy wants to leave, regardless of the offers from England with a Higher rate dude wants to go to Italy make the move Galliani!
Napoli got 65 Million .. and they spend like anything.. and we got so much money from ibra & Silva sales .. and still we didnt spend it last year nor do we have 4 freaking 4 million for a quality player this year.. is it me or is it that FFP is effecting only MILAN and no other club in the world.. damn u G&B
They where gonna pay 4 million, russians got greedy.
ya I got that .. but what I meant that If galliani would have given 4 million earlier i.e. before CSKA’s so called Honda’s replacement got injured then we would not have to see this day.. and really i m sick of this ” 1 player leaves 1 player comes” policy.. there in Naples they have 1 player leaves 3 comes policy .. :(
Strict Financial impositions by the UEFA are coming on 2015 I think Milan is preparing for that. All clubs should be preparing for that, instead of spending like crazy.
this is actually absurd on CSKA’s part .. player wants to leave ..let him go man.. if I would have been in place of Honda 1st thing i would do in the next match is SCORE AN OWN GOAL .. ;)
CSKA I hope you get eliminated in group stage.
We finished 3th, but first 3 months we was loosing the points ..Balo came to Milan in Janury ..he is the Beast. We dont need to spend fu..ing 60 milions every year we need a quality 3 players and thats it. First of all we cannot sell the key players that we have and than the sucsses will come ;)
Milan wasted too much time on this deal. now see what happen # sad :(
Galliani Ãήϑ his big ears we jst want honda
I’m glad I never got my hopes up over this deal like I did for Kaka in January, that was the last time I get burnt, although this seems like a rare occasion when it’s not Milan who look pathetic.
Although if we’d just offered 4m a week ago none of this would have mattered
f–k cska stupid club with stupid president.
Nothing wrong with that. We will get him in winter which means we will be able to rest important players for UCL. Knowing Galliani he would have been working on another transfer target while the media was too busy reporting about Honda to Milan.
I still think he’s coming this summer
no more honda i m=promise watch a bigger team will tell him join us and he will tell you guys the truth i been watchin milan since i wa 12 im 34 now they need hernanes i wish they bought honda but they wasted a lot of time i still wish honda comes hes a wonderful playmaker but lets move for hernanes now please
We should go for a defender or hernanes a good defender like astori hes amazing defender we need him i dont no whats wrong with aligra there millionares napoli and juvi bought everyone and we didnt buy anyone there so cheap and dont care about the fans
Galliani’s gonna go all out now, don’t worry everyone! FORZA MILAN!
and we get third in trofeo tim, we lose to stupid sasuolo , galliani fc-k it man!
Milan played press campaign too intense and long on Honda deal, this pissed off the immature Russians and made them reject the proposal even with value meeting their demand before.
the ball is on Hondas feet now to convince the president of CSKA..
btw, whats Milan plan on Hachim Mastour I wonder
my opinion on transfers is that when boateng stays we only need one more midfielder besides him, montolivo, poli, saponara, cristante and de jong (traore, nocerino, strasser and emanuelson are to leave) im ok with either honda or eriksen but what we really need are good center backs and a real (and talented) left winger. de scilio is actually a right winger. mexes is good but old, bonera was good and is also too old, zapata is ok according to his age and verghara is still young. id like to see matip and dragovic in milan. rodriguez or santon as… Read more »
