CRISTIAN ZAPATA has only kind words for the new Milan player and believes Vergara will prove to be a great buy.
Jherson Vergara Amu is one of the two players that have already been bought by Milan for next season and the 19-year-old, who is currently with the U20 Colombian squad playing the U20 World Cup seems to have convinced Cristian Zapata.

“Vergara is a very young boy, but one that wants to improve,” Zapata is quoted as saying on the press, talking about Vergara whose idol Mario Yepes, who leaves Milan. “You can see that he really wants to play for Milan. We have met and talked, and he wants to play right away. I am convinced that Vergara has a bright future and will be a great buy for Milan.”
Adriano Galliani has stated that Vergara will replace Yepes next season so it remains to be seen how much playing time he will be given. Despite the signing of Jherson, Milan are still looking to sign a central defender and have shortlisted Astori.
If only he get’s the chance to play then he will surely improve, but a certain Mr.Allegri will rather play Bonera
