Manchester City in €25 million + Tevez bid for El Shaarawy?

92

MANCHESTER CITY appear to be very serious about the striker and are set to include the Argentina man in the deal.

Milan were very close to signing Carlos Tevez in January 2012 but in the end decided to keep Alexandre Pato and the move never took place even though Tevez had agreed personal terms. A year later Milan signed a different City man – Balotelli.

Galliani, who’s admitted recently that Tevez and he have a great relationship and they often talk on the phone, said that he believes that it was the right thing to take Balotelli a year later than sign Tevez but it seems that now he could have him.

Report: Manchester City prepare €40 million El Shaarawy bid

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester City continue to press for Stephan El Shaarawy and after it was reported yesterday that they’re set to offer €40 million for the 20-year-old forward, today it’s suggested in the Italian press that City will offer Milan €25 million in cash plus the services of Tevez, who’s valuated at around €15 mil for the Italian international.

Sky Sport Italia‘s Gianluca Di Marzio reported last evening that El Shaarawy has absolutely no intention or desire of leaving Milan but it’s not clear whether Milan will not consider the Man City offer at all. It’s reported, however, that Milan would prefer only cash for the player, especially since Tevez is on a €8.5 million a year salary while Milan’s salary cup is €4m a season plus €1m Champions League-related bonus. If Milan accept the offer, Tevez would have to significantly reduce his wages.

El Shaarawy could suffer from the return to 4-3-1-2 as he’s better suited in a formation with wingers. Meanwhile, Milan have released the season tickets for 13/14, stating in the terms and conditions that “The use of certain players in the promotional images for the season tickets does not guarantee their permanence in the squad at the end of the transfer session.”

Mario Balotelli, El Shaarawy and Kevin-Prince Boateng are the faces on the season-tickets and both Stephan and Prince are linked with an exit. The transfer market is still very very long and many more wild rumours – true or false – are expected.

I beleive this is just newspaper gossip. Milan should not even contemplate selling SES. He is just 21 yrs and Milan can still sell him in 5 yrs time for more than €40m . He is crucial to the present and future of Milan and perhaps italian national team. And who says he can not be useful in 4-3-1-2? It all depends on what Allegri ask him to do.

T.S.33,ibra,nesta,seedorf,gattuso,pippo,zambrotta,pato and fantonio left to give us 150m with wages and acerbi, bojan, constant, monty, pazzo, traoe, muntari, salamon, balo, saponara and pazzo came and cost us 41m with wages. What makes u think we need money and for that we must sell SES? Even if he is sold, we can’t guarantee quality youngsters like veratti, isco, rues, alcantara, ganso, dede, wilshre, ericksen, strootman, ayew, walcott and what have u? Rather civeli, diamanti, poli, naingolan, kucka and what have u, will arrive. Do u think messi and CR7 would be successful if there are gathered by ‘MEDIOCORES’? If we sell him, we say goodbye to ruling europe again cuz we will be as ‘arsenal’.

alluallu

I agree with you, we can’t afford to let him go.

Too many coaches in dis blog.if u tink its easy to sell and buy players as u tink, den we can’t get any player atall cos dia ar many clubs richer dan us and also see players more dan us. Milan knws wat is good for dem and wat dey want in d future more dan us. So y don’t we relax and wait till d mercato close and ce for our selves wat we hv. Let’s talk about our players nw and wat we want from dem, doze dat we want dem to sell and doze we want dem… Read more »

SES shudn’t go Ruby u tokin abt how the club know whats best for them don’t forget they are capitalists they only looking at profits but as a fan we look for pride and prestige Arsenal do whats good for themselves not their fans,i woudn’t wanna be a fan of a trophy-laden team, things is win or not Rossoneri for life,…

Milan should keep him

sola

Well, keeping him also a big risk bearing in mind d kaka and pato deals, el-sha may find it difficult to adapt 2 dat new formation, each time he switched 2 d right side of attack last season, he gets less influencial, we all knew dat he was becoming predictable, u also hope he dosent live foreva in the shadow of balo, balo always wants to be d man, woteva comes outta this case, I’ll take it like dat and remain a milanista

Cowmagnet

SES will never go. It doesn’t matter if B&G agree to the deal. SES and his agent still have to agree and they won’t.

Dude, look at our mf. It’s the work of our mgt team and the coach. Is that mf “what’s best for the team”?, because that mf of flamini, muntari, ambrosini, is what our mgt team and coach think is “best for the team”. We still could’ve persuaded pirlo to stay, but our mgt thought that letting him go and replacing him with muntari, is what’s “best for the team”. Verratti came cheap at €12m and now he’s worth double the amount, Galliani let him go to france instead because buying him wouldn’t be “best for team” since he has no… Read more »

a real display of ignorance..no player earns 8m in Milan..get ur facts straight..and Boa doesnt earn 5m except thats in Zimbabwean dollars..

1five1

50% taxes dude, 8mil, actually means 4mil.

Milanista

You guys have to stop thinking this is a footie video game. If we sell EL92 for $40 mill, this money is rendered unusable for this summer. Imagine we sell EL92, okay, you guys want to buy a bunch of quality players with that money: Veratti, Strootman, Belhanda, etc. Do you guys think clubs are dumb@sses or something? They will know we have $40 mill ready to spend, and they will milk us as much money as possible for the player that we want to buy.

D-Bo

Haven’t we had enough nutcases over the last few years?

EllO

EVERy year we gonna change the squad and the key players now ??? WtF ??? what we are Arsenal?? or Dortmund ??? If we gonna start to sell the players then every single year will every club try to get the key players of ours … all this doesnt look good ..

EllO

We have still respect in Europe ..but if we not gonna get to CH.L. one day ,and we will continue to sell the players ..we gonna lose that respect and it will be hard to get it back ..Even the players not gonna feel in AC. Milan like at home cause they will expect any time they will be sold .

No selling Robinho….Only Boa if he wants to leave!

And surely no to City for Milan’s Faraone El Sharaawy!!!

Only if City gives 50 euros will take him!

See the Robinho we want from hereee:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZlBNMqRgHw

Ted

I can already see headlines soon… Galliani: “In order to buy we must first sell” and “the budget is quiet as last year”. F… it i won’t be posting anything anymore till this summer mercato is done. This two old farts are bringing this club down…

Juninho

Some people on this blog don’tt use their heads to think or to hold a hat.

dassa

Lets be realistic for once here. We (milan) will be in decline till berlusconi pay off his debs in his affair where he paid 560 million euros. He is milking money from milan to cover loses in his company and that was publicly stated when he sad that 1000 people would get fired if not for t silva and ibra sold. The same thing was (is) doing man u bosses but not so hard and immediately. Someone compared as to arsenal. Actualy, today we are far behind arsenal but we fans cant get this in our head because we love… Read more »

Milan are smart enough to know what’s best for them……. they know for sure that a 29 yr old can’t fit in the long term plans of building a top team out of youngsters!

Rex Oham

This is madness. We do not want there money for SES as our financial books are balanced. He is the last person i would want to see leave Milan. They shouldn’t try it oh.

JDoe

Tevez for Robinho is ok. Same 29 yo. Almost the same wage. Had same homesickness. LOL.

Rico

galliani rejected this offer from city “el shaarawy will remain with milan this summer”

but he is trying to buy tevez from city and abouz boateng he said “there are no offers for boateng”

if we sell robinho to santos than tevez would be perfect…he is very aggressiv like a beast, we need someone like him

Okey Baresi

El92 said it himself that he is not going to manshitty though he is for there wanting him but that he’s gonna go no where

RedNBlack

mmmmhhh what an offer, it’s interesting. Let’s sit down and talk. Oh! you meant El Sharaawy? No, he is not for sale. Sorry!

pablo

this is highly unacceptable!!!!!!!!……….except, if carlito comes as a replacement for robinho… now we talking!!!!!!!

NOWAY!
ROBINHO IS BETTER IF HE IS IN HIS TOP FORM!
