Manchester City in €25 million + Tevez bid for El Shaarawy?

92

MANCHESTER CITY appear to be very serious about the striker and are set to include the Argentina man in the deal.

Milan were very close to signing Carlos Tevez in January 2012 but in the end decided to keep Alexandre Pato and the move never took place even though Tevez had agreed personal terms. A year later Milan signed a different City man – Balotelli.

Galliani, who’s admitted recently that Tevez and he have a great relationship and they often talk on the phone, said that he believes that it was the right thing to take Balotelli a year later than sign Tevez but it seems that now he could have him.

Report: Milan set €18 million price tag for Boateng
Report: Manchester City prepare €40 million El Shaarawy bid

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Manchester City continue to press for Stephan El Shaarawy and after it was reported yesterday that they’re set to offer €40 million for the 20-year-old forward, today it’s suggested in the Italian press that City will offer Milan €25 million in cash plus the services of Tevez, who’s valuated at around €15 mil for the Italian international.

Tevez + €25 million for El Shaarawy (screenshot from La Gazzetta dello Sport)

Sky Sport Italia‘s Gianluca Di Marzio reported last evening that El Shaarawy has absolutely no intention or desire of leaving Milan but it’s not clear whether Milan will not consider the Man City offer at all. It’s reported, however, that Milan would prefer only cash for the player, especially since Tevez is on a €8.5 million a year salary while Milan’s salary cup is €4m a season plus €1m Champions League-related bonus. If Milan accept the offer, Tevez would have to significantly reduce his wages.

El Shaarawy could suffer from the return to 4-3-1-2 as he’s better suited in a formation with wingers. Meanwhile, Milan have released the season tickets for 13/14, stating in the terms and conditions that “The use of certain players in the promotional images for the season tickets does not guarantee their permanence in the squad at the end of the transfer session.”

Mario Balotelli, El Shaarawy and Kevin-Prince Boateng are the faces on the season-tickets and both Stephan and Prince are linked with an exit. The transfer market is still very very long and many more wild rumours – true or false – are expected.

25m + Tevez + Silva + Company = Accepted

Luke

No thanks!!!

Chudy

Seeing he could suffer in the formation change..its a tempting offer..

shoaib

if he is sold then we must buy erikson and ljajic

Greg

The formation change is plain moronic though

pippo

Once you sell your top player, other clubs will constantly come and try to obtain your other star players. We sold sheva, kaka, ibra, tiago and by that we showed how no one is untouchable in AC Milan. For me this is a characteristic of a mediocre, mid table clubs, not top class club. We should be the ones that buy star players from other clubs, not other way around.

Stefano

the same thing happened with Arsenal(Fabregas,Song,Clichy,Nasri and Van Persie), and now they are not even close contenders for the premier league title. We should aim for top class player like Strootman and Veratti

V

No no no…

axelynx22

Just another paperwork. El shaarawy himself said he would never go away from milan. And berlusconni likes him very much, the only thing that could possibly happens is the sale of prince boateng

Nyemasem

We are in trouble b’cos I don’t see belu rejecting this offer.

aquadaghkid

Oh Milan what happened to the new project if the club sells him then we are a pointless and vision-less club whiles other clubs are busy upgrading their squad Milan is always going down the drain and yet you expect better from the coach. What a bunch of useless leaders we have if we do not upgrade the defense midfield and attack we would never win the Scudetto. I want to believe these rumors are just papers trying to sells I hope so

ali milano

they’ll prove you wrong. you’ll see

Well Galliani is in love with tevez, he wasted his time last year trying to sell pato(22) just to get tevez(29). I’m only worried that he will certainly get Berlusconi to agree to this deal. No part of it is tempting. We should not be playing the 4-3-1-2 system to start with. With a defensive minded coach like allegri, we certianly going to be playing defensively next season with this system, 4-3-3 was still perfact, allegri just didn’t know how to use it.

ali milano

is there anything the club does that you ever agree with? you complain too much. supporting a team mean standing by them. if they make a choice you disagree with then fine you can complain, but in the end you must stick by them and defend them. these people are professionals and have been doing what they’re doing for a really long time. they know what the team needs more than we do. so if you’re going to complain, at least show that you are willing to stand by the club. every comment i read from you sounds like you’re… Read more »

No thanks bt boateng yes thanks

ali milano

What do you mean suffer? the guy has insane scoring ability and can easily adapt to being a supporting striker. i don’t understand how people see this as a bad thing for him. it will actually help him score more and there is no way Milan or Galliani or Berlusconi will want to let go of him. He’s still 20! only a mad man would want to sell him.
Milan’s future: Saponara as trequartista. El92 as supporting striker, and Balo as target man.
this attack will also be the future of Italy

No. Tevez is not good as elshaarawy

Anthony

Why would anyone want to go to City? El Shaarawy has more chance of winning silverware with us than at a mediocre English club that only has money and no prestige.

natti

25M + Tevez ? Add Silva and Toure Yaya and its ok

Cyborg

Yes, they’ve been doing this for a long time, that’s why our mf is filled wrestlers who can’t play football. Supporting the team doesn’t mean you should agree to every idiotic idea it comes up with. How can anyone think tevez(29), a player who has past his prime and should be considering retiring, is a better exchange for SES(20), a player who single handedly kept us out of the relegation zone, and if used properly has good ten years in which he will win us titles? I don’t go about saying yes to every stupid idea. Galliani is too old… Read more »

No ! But I’m afraid of this managment! Especially Galliani, but I think berlusconi will keep him.

3 players on their promotional images for the seasonal tickets : Balotelli El Shaarawy Boateng. I believe and okay with Boateng leaving. He’s a good player, but I don’t see him will become Milan great like Leonardo, Boban nor Seedorf. I believe Milan will keep Balotelli and El Shaarawy, and since they are also Italy’s main choice of attacking duo, I believe it’d be good for the national team too. AND for the sake of Serie A, for god sake we were once the greatest league in Europe but now we’re no. 4 ! I miss we saying “numero uno”… Read more »

Guys,i don’t no hw u seen dis ofer but d fact is d best offer for milan. Balotelli wil over shadow elsharawy in many seasons 2 come n we’ve seen d best of him last season.we need a powerful strikers like tevex if we realy want 2 retain our position back as far as euro best is concern.is a best offer for milan if tevex reduce his wages.

nick

This would be stupid on Milan’s part if this actual happens.

I doubt this will happen as it would make absolute no sense since Berlusconi and Galliani convince the fans that they are moving towards developing youth players!

Milan fan

Neither Silva and Ibra wanted to be sold and we saw what happened. That’s the problem with Milan,B&G can’t resist the millions, greedy ba*ds. We should be looking to buy young and talented players like Hummles,Santon,Pastore,Niangolan not sell the ones we got,and they’re not many in this average Milan squad.

c

if they can sell pazzini and boateng and get tevez then ok but not in exchange for el shaarawy

Milanista121

Berlu will not allow this, so don’t worry, Tevez salary is too much, plus he doesn’t like Tevez, he likes El Shaarawy. El Shaa wants to stay and wrote on his twitter immediately after he heard about the city rumours that he called Galliani and said that he does not want to leave.

We dont need Tevez. B&G should not be obessed with money.

It will be a terrible idea to accept this offer we should keep El Shaarawy(20) than accept Tevez(29). This is because he will be in his 30’s soon and he won’t be as lethal as before and we will have to search for another striker meanwhile SES is in his prime so we should keep him at all cost and I think he will adapt to the 4-3-2-1 formation but honestly keep EL SHARRAWY FORZA MILAN

Milanista121

El Shaa isn’t even in his prime, he still has a long way to go until he reaches his prime, that’s why it would be even more foolish to let him go. Like I’ve said before, I doubt that this will happen…

Mattia

Deals never comes better ;)

Tochi Shevchenko

Keep him, but if he flops we’d all regret this like pato… How much I loved pato!

the milano

SES wants to stay if he’s sold Berlusconi should sell the club for lack of vision, I can’t believe fans are actually willing to accept this. I was an Allegri supporter but I’m tired of him now he sould of been sacked.

Greg

We need to bear in mind that we absolutley don’t need to sell, could see this happening last year but I can’t see why any self respecting big club would do this.

Sansiro harare

Shld ey sel SES,then i assure u if any1 bids monty and sciglio, they wil dfntly go. We dont need tevez… He wil fight with balo soon.too dubius

BREAKING: City wish to communicate that the offer currently in Milan is faulty as it was meant for three players from Milan. Guess who Traoe,Muntari and Bonera.
They apologise that any inconvinience caused should be forgiven.

stop overratin your players Milan fans. Yaya Toure + somemore City stars for SES who always looks nervous on big occasions and his biggiest strength is his speed. I knew he s young n has scored 19 goals but his second half to the season was poor n anything can happen in the future. better take this chance and sale this boy for 40 mil, Boateng for 15 mil n buy Tarabt, Verratti and Belhanda.. those guys r also young and quality enough to cover our attack. but again B&G might not be willing to spend a penny of the… Read more »

milano, you still trust Galiani?? laughs…. laughs.
He said Kaka is too old for Milan @31 but he is after Diamanti @ 30.
Can you please rationalize that?

ali milano

this team would be nothing without Galliani and Burlosconi.. who brought ElShaa and Balo? THEY DID. so trust them for once. and about Diamanti, no one said that Milan are after him. Galliani only said that he “likes” him. and what we’ve gotten used to these days is that they never end up buying the players they say they like, they buy the players they say they don’t want (by saying they don’t want them they lower their prices–>BALOTELLI). so for all you know, we could still get Kaka. learn to not take any of their words seriously and just… Read more »

Jibola

Call this whatever but i would support the sale IF ADEQUATE replacement is made. Remember Pato 35M??? how much did we get after a season…15M, remember Rossi at Villareal was offered 35M by Tottenham and what happened? Tevez will give us a BIG hand and the 25M that comes with it could be invested on another champion in defense, the money from Robinho or Boateng sale would be use to reinforce the midfield. Milan will be more solid and more ready to compete at the highest level again. Remember Stephan never shined when Ibra was here and faded out immediately… Read more »

You Sir are a Moron if Milan was to sell stephen you honestly think they’ll invest it wisely?. We’ll get a cheap mediocre replacement and other thing the clubs not under any financial strain there’s no need for this.

Moron for stating my views?? do we need know who the moron is?? This is a blog for Milanistas who openly share their views dude.

You need to be civil enough to be a Milan fan so….. Get your mind right. LOL

ali milano

why would you call him a moron? even if he’s wrong, which i think he is, he does make sense and deserves respect.
respect a fellow milanisti.

Even if city wud offer tevez with billions. We should neva sell Stephan. If we do Milan will regret! Forza Stephan

Cyborg

stephan can still shine even better than he did if the coach built the team arround him. Stephan with his own brilliance was carrying the team, but as soon as the coach started to have influence over the team and giving him the new role of ” helping in defense” and shifting the burden of goal scoring to mario, everything went south. Stephan can be more productive closer to the opposition goal than “helping in defense”, and no one can score goals and “help in defense” at the same time, even messi can’t do that. Berlusconi should’ve fired this coach… Read more »

I know d sucker is makin our forwards look bad by askin them to do defensive duties. yes SES got talent n so Verratti who s valued at 25 mil. that’s why I’d accept 40 mil for SES n buy the most potential youngster in Verratti and another quality player all from the sales of SES.

a star goes and a star(or stars) comes.

Jose

If we have Poli and Saponara, will you just focus on buying a quality center back please! We don’t need to get rid of El Sha, maybe one forward since Pazzo is injured, but focus on the defense pleeeeease! Stop looking for stupid and useless deals!

acbaba

I consider el sha better dan balo.we should build d team around him just as we did wit kaka even while sheva was stil present.he would perform am sure.25 tevez is a foolish tin to do.especially since we aren’t in any financial difficulty.milan be wise

ladon

@jibola, get this fact straight. Milan won’t reinvest the money as they have shown in times past. They only going to spend not more than €6m on replacement to be paid over three years. Don’t be fooled again dude.
