MARIO BALOTELLI may have not scored against San Marino for Italy last night but Cesare Prandelli praised the Milan star and said it was his best Italy game under his reign. Balotelli came off the bench in the 50′ minute, replacing Alberto Gilardino and managed to hit the woodwork a few times. Scorers for Italy were Poli, Gilardino, Pirlo and Aquilani. Mattia De Sciglio and Ignazio Abate also played while Riccardo Montolivo and Stephan El Shaarawy sat out with injuries.
Abate just has too much pace. Don’t sell him.
