THE MAGAZINE has ranked Milan in the sixth place, Juventus are eighth, while Real Madrid are the most valuable team.

Milan’s target in the next years is to generate more profit and limit costs and they are already doing well in this aspect as the wage bills has been reduced and Milan’s books are currently balanced, as reported by Vice President Adriano Galliani.

Galliani and Silvio Berlusconi often note that Milan are one of the leading Italian brands in the world and so it’s not surprise to see that the Rossoneri are sixth in the list of the Top 20 Most Valuable Teams released by the Forbes magazine.

Milan are sixth in the rankings but are very far behind European giants like Real Madrid, Manchester United and FC Barcelona. Real Madrid are in fact at the top of the chart, as they managed to take this place from Manchester United. It’s the first time since 2004 another team buy United tops the list. Forbes estimates Madrid’s value at $3.300 billion.

Manchester United’s value is $3.165 bn while FC Barcelona have risen their value by 99% compared to last year and currently stand at $2.600 billion. Arsenal and Bayern Munich are fourth and fifth in this Forbes list with values of $1.326 billion and $1.309 billion respectively. Milan are the only club in the Top 10 that have decreased their value over the last year.

However, Milan remain in sixth place with the value of $945 million. Forbes writes that Milan “under-perform in matchday revenue because San Siro stadium (which the Rossoneri share with Inter Milan) is antiquated and average attendance declined 10% during the 2011-12 season, to an average 48,500.” It’s already been confirmed that Milan and Inter will renovate the San Siro stadium and in a few years’ time it will once again be one of the elite stadiums in the world.

As far as other Italian teams go in this list, Juventus are 8th with a value of $694 mil, Inter are 15th with $401 mil and Napoli are 17th with $330 mil. Chelsea, $901 mil, Manchester City, $689 mil, and Liverpool $651 mil complete the Top 10.

Doesn’t matter how much they renovate San Siro if they don’t own it and they keep allowing those fake strips to be sold outside it they won’t see any money

Okafor

Renovate all the time the truth is that this is the time Milan suppose to buy san siro out right or build there own stadium.

Own ur stadium milan that is the best

I thought Inter has been said to build their own stadium in 2016 or so, leaving Milan to buy San Siro.
It’s not stadium revenue that contributed to the low income, there are other investments which needed to be made. I learn Madrid has a port. Moreover Balusconi has affected negatively the clubs revenue with his numerous allegations and court fine. Have you all forgotten that about 500 mill euro was a fine given to him? And some other little little fine also.
