RICCARDO MONTOLIVO, Abate, Nocerino, El Shaarawy and Balotelli have been called-up by Prandelli.
Italy coach Cesare Prandelli named his squad for the international friendly against Holland which will take place on Wednesday (kick off at 20:30) in Amsterdam and there are five Milan faces in this squad.
New Milan signing Mario Balotelli, who scored two goals against Udinese on his dream Rossoneri debut last night, is obviously in the list, along with Stephan El Shaarawy who’s been very impressing this year.
Highlights: Milan 2-1 Udinese
Milan-Udinese: Official line-ups
“Balotelli and El Shaarawy? We had already thought of this combination in August against France and we saw the tremendous potential,” Prandelli told the press today. “Given the short time there is to work here (in the NT), it’s a wonderful advantage that they now play together every day, under a great coach like Allegri.
“I am happy for Mario, we saw more smiling from him. He’s found serenity because he was playing little before. I’m happy for him and also for us as well be able to control him better in every way (laughs). Mario is a character beyond football, all the things that happen don’t happen by chance, he’s predestined. Balo still has a huge room for improvement but he’s one of those talents that only come every now and then.”
In addition to Balotelli and El Shaarawy, Ignazio Abate, Riccardo Montolivo and Antonio Nocerino have also been called-up by Prandelli for the Netherlands tie. Urby Emanuelson didn’t make Holland’s squad.
Goalkeepers: Buffon (Juventus), De Sanctis (Napoli), Marchetti (Lazio), Sirigu (Paris St. Germain);
Defenders: Abate (Milan), Astori (Cagliari), Barzagli (Juventus), Gastaldello (Sampdoria), Peluso (Juventus), Ranocchia (Inter), Santon (Newcastle);
Midfielders: Candreva (Lazio), De Rossi (Roma), Diamanti (Bologna), Florenzi (Roma), Giaccherini (Juventus), Montolivo (Milan), Nocerino (Milan), Pirlo (Juventus), Verratti (Pars St. Germain);
Forwards: Balotelli, El Shaarawy (Milan), Gilardino (Bologna), Osvaldo (Roma).
This is what B&G loves more of hw players in the national team 5 nw when Scilligio is fit turn to 6 nxt seasn turns to 9 or 10.wat a wonderful team juve has also reduce to 5 man
I hope they all get to see time on the field.
Balo and Ses 4 the attack, montolivo 4 the midfield,Abate 4 the defence and nocerino as a sub.so in the lineup we will have 4 diavolo’s on the pitch..forza milan.
Juve reduced cos i think machisio is out of form or injured dnt really know abt that one but chiellini is injured..but i think four of our players will be in the starting lineup 4 sure..
Allegri great coach? funny
Allegri was given the golden bench, aka best coach of Serie A, and that was when he was still at Cagliari … this was by voting from other coaches that know football better than me or you. Also the first year at Milan, he won the Serie A Coach of the year. People say Ibra this and Ibra that, but they forget that when we won Serie A, Ibra got two red cards in a row and missed TWO months of playing time (played only 29 out the 38 games), or the period when we had all midfielders with injuries… Read more »
Is dat even a question?
Every single coach dat has given an opinion abt Milan’s season said d same thing.
Wenger, Mourinho, Prandelli, Ancelotti, Lippi, Sacchi, etc.
Even Gattuso went back on his earlier pronouncements abt him.
Did u knw dat when his future appeared 2 b in doubts, Napoli and Fiorentina whr making arrangements 4 him 2 take over?
And that roma are targetting him 2 take over at d end of d season?
Its jst sad dat wat he has achieved mean little 2 some of us.
Forza magico milan
Allegri is a gr8 coach
nocerino!? hes out of form! he was very good last year, scored 10 goals in serie a and 1 goal against barca, but this season he disappointed me.
gilardino over pazzini? are u kidding me prandelli what u have been smoking?
buffon-abate-barzagli-astori-santon nocerino-pirlo-de rossi montolivo balotelli-el shaarawy .WOW.
I prefer
marchetti
abate–barzagli–astori–santon
verrati-pirlo-de rossi
montolivo
el92–balotelli
Buffon over Marchetti
allegri is a great coach but also stubborn. But without him, niang wouldn’t play in d line up. Constant wouldn’t play as left back in line up. But also maybe bonera wouldn’t be playing againts udinese yesterday. Lol. He choose bonera bcoz bonera better in terms of tactical. But as fans I always nervous when see bonera name in d line up.
even me.am now hating that name bonera
He reminds me of Portugals coach Paulo Bento aka Papa-Taças(the cup-eater).
My favourite coach.
His fav formation is d 4-3-3 & Allegri’s 4-3-3 plays just like his.
When things weren’t going well 4 him at Sporting Lisbon, d fans became impatient
& criticized his style of play.
They forgot dat he became their second most successful coach using d same style of play.
Fans should not be glory-hunters!
Support your team n do nt turn ur back on a coach dat gave u success jst two seasons ago.
you right but he should really stop playing bonera!
except for bonera, hes choosing the best lin ups in the last 10 games,I beleive hes a great coach, but he should have bigger objectives like winning champions leauge, wish him the best…FORZA ALLEGRI!
I am Iranian but I love Italy and I have been there in summer(milan and roma) kinda like my scond country :)
I hope Italy hammer holland 5-0 with a double from elsha and a hattrick from supermario. FORZA ITALY! FORZA MILAN!
This is showing that milan has talented players to play for the national side
Allegri is all right . Dnt want any of our players playin at a delicate time . Too much at stake . Pazzo deserved a call up
Pazzini got injured last night during the warm-up, have you forgotten about that? I’m sure otherwise he would have been called up.
BTW, Giovinco is in the squad too, he’s missing from this list for some reason.
All in all, nice selections from Prandelli. I don’t care what some of you say, Gilardino deserves the call-up. As does Marchetti.
Take it or live it Allegri will be on the bench next season thats what Galliani,we started this project with Allegri and so we must finish it with him..he gave alot of the youngsters the exposure,u can name them ur self.forza milan forza Allegri.

gud news or bad xavi is doubtful for milan crash wit barca
Pazzini ? de sciglio ? comon prandelli ?
How come so many of you are talking about Pazzo here? Does the word INJURED say nothing to you?
I’m certain he would have received a call-up were it not for his injury.
Nice one @ ender….forza milan
Let our position be the judge come end of season. He’s good but not sure I’ll call him great yet. He has €3million reasons to be the best he can be that’s why been in Milan is an opportunity for him, but you can’t deny many of his questionable tactics n players choice atimes…
People also seem to forget that the turn around of this team is Berlusconi’s work too. Have you guys forgotten how many times he made the visit to the squad to speak with them, didn’t our onslaught started there n then barring the roma game?
when i think about it, allegri is actually great. There is a process in every development and we need to work hard to progres and achieve success. Even when its not a team full w/ a star or a world class player, he can build the team to be a really good team.
plz oh non of them must be injuried.
