M’BAYE NIANG wants to make it to the Champions League list and prove he doesn’t fear Messi.
January ends soon and the Champions League returns in less than a month for Milan. The Rossoneri drew La Liga leaders Barcelona in the Round of 16 and the first game is on February 20th at San Siro.
Milan have made some changes in the squad this January, selling Alexandre Pato, Francesco Acerbi and Djamel Mesbah and brought in Cristian Zaccardo and Mario Balotelli. Niang hopes to get his chance too.

“It was not easy at the beginning but I tried to work hard and learn something every day,” M’Baye Niang who was bought from Caen in the summer at 17 at a high fee of €2m told Uefa.com. “Playing with Caen or with Milan is exactly the same thing for me. I don’t feel the pressure, which is one of my main strengths.
“Everything is possible in 180 minutes against Barcelona – I don’t fear [Barcelona star Lionel] Messi. I hope to be included in the list for the Champions League so I can prove that. I’m doing everything I can to convince [coach Massimiliano] Allegri.” Niang started the season slowly and was not given many chances. However, things are different now as Niang started the last three Milan games (two wins and one draw).
Niang will almost definitely be included in the new Champions League list which will be released in February as Milan sold Alexandre Pato and Mario Balotelli cannot play in the Champions as he’s cup-tied.

Allegri should use Niang against Barca. This will be a very important experience for the youngster, which could definitely capitalize in the future…

Niang surely get a chance against barca..i don’t think any possible things might happen that make him not included in starting eleven agains barca. niang-pazzini-elsha should be playing up-front, bojan instead pazzini will be interesting though. as he will play against his old team.
against barca u need to field 4 mids at least thats why i say drop niang and start with el shaarawy and robinho who are both fast and good dribblers…then a midfield of flamini, ambrossini, montolivo and boateng, and a defense of constant, zapata, mexes and de sciglio/abate ( abate gave a penalty last season against barca…)…and definitely abbiati in goal…guys believe it or not we have a chance…solid midfield and defense…and capitalize on counter attacks and long shots form monty and boateng…

do we really think we can beat barca ? i dont see that happening they are by far the best football team on earth and we r nothing close to the team of last season and yet some of our fans and players dream of beating barca …. is that not wishful thinking ? dont you think we should concentrate on the league and fire home to comeback next season ?
i do agree, barca is better, but they are not as good as you say. Teams like bayern munich, juventus and manchester united are probably at the same level. And if I recall, milan beat juve, keep your head up mate
