URBY EMANUELSON admits pressure is affecting the performances and claims there’s still no base.
It’s been a season to forget for Milan so far as they are sitting 13th in Serie A, far away from a place that leads to the Champions League. Coach Massimiliano Allegri, however, continues to be given the faith.
Silvio Berlusconi will be at Milanello on Friday to motivate the players ahead of the game with Napoli. Midfielder Urby Emanuelson admits that Milan are back to square one after the heavy Fiorentina defeat.
Mad Max’s constant tinkering is hurting Milan and its fans
Allegri stays, Galliani: “We have faith in him”
“We are in a difficult situation at the moment,” Emanuelson told FCUpdate.nl on Tuesday. “The defeat to Fiorentina was a big blow for the whole team because it had seemed that we were getting better after a really poor start, but now we’re back to square one. The last game had a tremendous impact on everyone.
“It’s a very difficult time for us, especially because such big club is always under a magnifying glass. Pressure is always very high, even for the coach and that aggravates what is already a heavy atmosphere around the club. Our biggest problem is we don’t have a solid base of players. Three or four always play, and the rest just rotate around them. Am I one of these players? Yes, I’ve played a lot and it’s good.
“I need to show myself. The next step for me is to be more decisive for the team,” added the 26-years-old Emanuelson, who’s found himself on the scoresheet twice this season in 14 games, in all competitions.

Oh, he forgot to mention that he also isn’t “solid” on the right as an AMF….
If we want a new milan, we have to play
4-2-3-1
Abbiati
Abate-zapata-mexes-emmanuelson
Montolivo-de jong
Prince-bojan-el sharaway
Pato
2nd formation should be
Abbiati
Zapata-bonera-yepes
Abate-de jong-montolivo-constant
Robinho-pazzini-el sharaway
He should be playing LWB anyway, what are you talking about….?
We’re almost in the middle of the competition and still not have a base?
This is great.
Relegation here we come.
May Be if we bring in more out of contract players, it might get our season back on track.
Base on all the rumors out there (which I hope they are all true), the best thing that can happen to us Milan fans should be: -sell Prince and get Strootman -exchange (plus money) Robinho for Felipe Anderson -sell Mexes and get Yanga -sell Pato and get Balotelli -get Nani (who will come lower than market price, as he’s having problems at Man Utd) I think all these can potentially happen, if they do (which I highly doubt), our line up should be pretty solid: Abbiati Abate-Yanga-Zapata-Constant Montolivo/Dejong-Strootman/Dejong Nani-Bojan/Felipe Anderson-El Sharaawy Balotelli Back up: Amelia De Sciglio-Bonera-Acerbi-Antonini Ambrosini-Nocerino Emanuelson-Felipe Anderson/Bojan-Nani/El… Read more »
Felipe Anderson a good thing?
You “gringos” really don’t know him uahahahahahahaha
United will include Nani in the negotiation for James Rodriguez of Porto.
You really thought we would get Nani lol???
i don’t like that Nani…he is so inconsistent
I don’t.
But the fellow upstairs yes.
Berlusconi has to go,The club needs a makeover
Good talk urby, now i know the problem. Thanx
Well spoken Urby, it’s very obvious. We should play a formation which brings out the best from our players. Prince, at the top of his game, is one of the best midfielders out there, he should play in the midfield, not in attack. Maybe the 4-3-3 is the best formation for us? Or possibly the 4-3-1-2, but ONLY IF Bojan plays as the trequartista… In that case the midfield trio would be Prince-Ambro/De jong-Monto, and of course Urby can play wherever possible. and @Sheva, I do not think we should offload Pato, or Mexes for that matter, Mexes is our… Read more »
Against Napoli plz: 4-3-2-1:
Abbiati
De Sciglio Acerbi Zapata Constant
Montolivo De Jong Boateng
Robinho/Urby Bojan El Sharaawy
Pato
ma choice is ABBIATI FLAMINI MEXES ZAPATA URBY DE-JONG NOCERINO/CONSTANT MONTOLIVIO BOJAN PAZINI/PATO ROBINHO/EL SHARAWY. SUBS – EL SHARAWY BOATENG, PATO, ASCERBI, CONSTANT, DE- CIGLE, YEPES, NIANG, Don’t know wot u guys think though, but i think this can give us balance and a slight hope of vitory. i chose Flamini in place of De-cigle cos Flamini can still give us some solidity in defence and he played there during Leonardo’s time and he did well, De-cigle is promising and very good and better crosser of d ball but his light weight and not very fast considering he might be… Read more »
What do you think, our discussion hearing by milan management?
Urby, u should not play on the right side anymore.
u loss the possession very often and u cannot make a good final pass like boyan.
the important thing is u cannot combat with serie a defenders, coz they r a lot bigger than u, and u r so predictable
i think KPB can fit into the right side attack, he’s stroing, fast, and has good movement.
finally, urby should b the first sub for the team, as he’s very versatile player
Urby playing on d rite side is nt really a gud idea cs hs a left footer n nt so gud wit his rite…he doesnt really lack anytin he has pace, dribblin, stamina, shot, decent crosser xcept he lacks xtra phsical strength
