GIUSEPPE ROSSI would be pleased to move back to Italy this summer, according to his agent.
Milan are searching for a striker and along with the names of Marco Borriello, Alessandro Matri and Fabio Quagliarella, there is also the name of Villarreal CF and Italy national team striker Giuseppe Rossi.
Reports suggested yesterday that Milan called Villarreal to ask for information about Rossi, who will not be able to play at least until February. Rossi’s agent says the 25-year-old would love to play in Serie A.
Reports: Milan put Mexes on the market
Milan: €4.9m spent on new signings so far
“Villarreal’s change of direction was needed because of the relegation, so there could be there certain players with certain wages,” the agent of the Parma product, Federico Pastorello told Sky Sport 24 on Monday. “The same goes for Giuseppe Rossi, although his injury will keep him out for the rest of 2012.
“Negotiations are clearly more complicated, but if he were available, he’d have been sold by now. I’m not concerned about this situation, and I’m convincing that the market will begin for Giuseppe in late August. Who might come knocking for Rossi? Technically, I think all the big teams: Milan are looking for players after the sales, Inter for their rejuvenation and Pazzini’s case and Juventus are looking for a top player.

“I think that the big three can all be involved, not to mention Napoli, Roma and Lazio. Technically, all the big Italian teams are in need for Giuseppe Rossi. Contacts with Milan? I don’t know if Milan and Villarreal have spoken about my client, but it’s possible seeing as Milan just bought Cristian Zapata.
“I don’t think that there’s any doubt that Giuseppe Rossi would like to join Milan. He would definitely say yes. I believe that a lot of clubs will try to sign Giuseppe, and not only Italian ones. I’m confident, and I’ve a feeling that a deal involving my client could be made by the end of this month. Rossi would be absolutely happy to play in Serie A. He would prefer to play in Serie A due to his interest in the Italian national team and because of the fact that he feels Italian. But Rossi is a professional and he will go where it’s best for his career.”
Pastorello also confirmed that Rossi “should be able to play again by the end of January.” Reports suggested Milan could make a January move, offering €5-6m but a summer swoop is also an option. Milan meanwhile continue to consider other options as well as Giuseppe Rossi.

good!!! let s make it happen
Men his injury is very scary i don’t think he suits milan with his injury proness but quality player thou.
milan shld pls remove borriello’s name in our transfar list bcus is jst a flop, look wot him nd huntela did 2 our team past season but i trust alegri he don’t givs room 4 a deadly legs like borrielflop.FORZA MILAN
We really should make it happen, he should be back to playing by the end of January!
rossi re injured himself in april 2012, so I’m not sure how helpful it will be to get him because he won’t be recovered for another 8 months or so. We won’t use him this season if we sign him
A fully fit Rossi would cost between 30 and 40 million. Milan shouldn’t take the p*ss and just pay the 10m it’s a steal
hw come pato and rossi 2 injury pron even wit rossi we stil nid a reliable striker.
thats right get him now. milan docs will get him fit. he will be ready in february for the cl matches. so 10m bargain.
Milan’s management makes me sick!
Rossi in Milan jersey will be awesome..
No one want an injured player but out there Rossi is the best option available for Milan and you people should know that. i’ll throw my phone against the wall if Borriello joins.
Rossi is The Best, I hate You People When You are Complaining Whitout Any Reason…
– “Kevin Strootman will be a Milan player Next Season.PSV and Milan have an initial Agreement” – Pietro Mazzara (Journalist)
This would be awesome.
With rossi milan still need a striker till january when rossi will return.
@sammy clinton
yes ur right but i think if we bring niang in and see what hes like give him a few chances i think we will be fine until january for sure
milan management knows how to invest their money. investment theory : “high risk high return” is applied here. rossi is injured now but if he could return and play at his best, his price tag would be doubled or even tripled. it is possible that milan will sell rossi when his price is at the highest.
do what u hv to do G*B.
Strootman??…how true is this?. Don’t play with our emotions here mate we very fragile at this moment in time….
we all r..but even i saw smwher dat strootman will com to Milan nxt year…
I honestly hope we sign him, even with a long term injury he’ll be a good buy once fit again. My only worry is the speed in which this is conducted. We seem to drag things out and advertise whenever we want to sign a big player, which I always find worrying x
I’d take Rossi over lumbering Borriello and overrated Matri but we need someone now not in 6 months. Tevez and Dzeko are out so who’s it gonna be B&G?
Anyone but Borrielo plz! Rossi would be a good move.
Sportmediaset: Mexes will be trade for Bendtener.
Milan director Ariedo Braida has denied reports from earlier today that the club were discussing sending Djamel Mesbah to Palermo.
However, Braida has denied that any talks whatsoever have taken place for the Rossoneri’s left-sided defender.
“I cannot but deny the existence of possible interest from Palermo for Mesbah,” he told Palermo24.net.
“I cannot but deny it because there is no deal, I have never spoken to anyone about Mesbah.”
However, Rosanero director general Giorgio Perinetti was a little more forthcoming, telling Tgs that Mesbah was one of ‘several options being evaluated’.
Mexes for Bendtner(Better than Boriello) and G.Rossi.
Yanga Mbiwa to replace Mexes.
Sahin and a lb if Mesbah leaves and he should.
We can utilize Robinho or Cassano as CAM if we don’t get a natural one.
Just get us a good striker dis season rossi is a good player borriello is nt our type plss don’t bring him back again O°˚˚˚
GOALKEEPERS(3) Christian Abbiati Marco Amelia Gabriel DEFENDERS(9) Ignazio Abate Francesco Acerbi Luca Antonini Daniele Bonera Mattia De Sciglio Djamel Mesbah(He or Didac could leave) Dídac Vila’(He or Mesbah could leave) Philippe Mexes or Yanga Mbiwa Mario Yepes Cristian Zapata MIDFIELDERS(9) Massimo Ambrosini Kevin-Prince Boateng Kevin Constant Urby Emanuelson Mathieu Flamini Riccardo Montolivo Sulley Ali Muntari(count him out till jan) Antonio Nocerino Rodney Strasser(count him out) Bakaye Traore’ Nuri Sahin FORWARDS(5) Stephan El Shaarawy Antonio Cassano Pato Robinho Giuseppe Rossi(count him out till jan) Bendtner(only a Mexes exchange) That would give us a squad of 26 player and that is what… Read more »
pls milan should sign rossi bendtner and psg defender 1 midfielder and anyother strong player at cheap price or loan i think with this idea our is complete forza milan
if we get bendtner wont that mean pato wont get alot of playing time or is he just the back up for pato??
back up for sure.
BENDTNER IS NOT GOOD AT ALL. NO DON’T GET HIM !
This just came up to me but what if we loan Yossi Benauen from Chelsea just to cover for CAM role until we find a good player that we can sign for that position
Hi guys, I am don’t need to comment about G. Rossi as i already did and hope we sign him. As for Boriello i am not anxious in getting him, don’s believe that he can give us the extra mile that we are looking for he will not add value to the team. Hence, i believe that his style of play will not click with Pato nor with our current (young) team! I do agree that we are in a hurry to sign a CF. Llorente could be a better option for example i would still look for some one… Read more »
Would be nice. He is a true champion, with a quite gamble. But that amount worth it.
my prediction:
exits: Mexes, Mesbah, Didac Vila, Flamini/Traore, Cassano
entries: Kaka, Rossi, Strootman, Sahin, Dossena( not happy about that i would rather have santon)
