MILAN ARE considering their options up front and Giuseppe Rossi is apparently one of them.
Milan have been linked with Alessandro Matri and Marco Borriello in the last days after moves for Manchester City duo Tevez and Dzeko became impossible as Milan no longer have open non-EU spots.
Milan are in need for a striker after the sale of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to billionaires Paris Saint-Germain and are looking at different options and apparently they could return to Villarreal, this time for Giuseppe Rossi.
Zapata: “If I work hard – I’ll do well at Milan”
No ‘false 9′ – Allegri to stick with 4-3-1-2
According to Sky Italia‘s Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan have called Villarreal to request for information about the Italian striker. Di Marzio claims that at the moment Rossi, who turned 25-years-old in February, is just an idea and there is nothing concrete with Milan but there could be more developments in the next days.
The price of Rossi could be around €10 million since Villarreal got relegated last season and the player will only return from his injury in January-February. The former Manchester United man hasn’t played in a very long time, since he picked up two knee injuries in a row. However, his talent and quality cannot be doubted, even though he’s not exactly what Milan are looking since his primarily position is second-striker.
Adriano Galliani will return to Italy tomorrow from New York City but will spend the entire week at Forte dei Marmi and is expected at Milano only next Saturday for the Trofeo Berlusconi against champions Juventus.

gambleeeeeeeeee
He will be a good addition to the team. An injured Rossi is better than fully fit Boriello.
true that
best comment ever seen . nice one bro
comment of the year LOL
So Galliani is considering bringing an injured striker as d promised champion. Nice!
“The price of Rossi could be around €10 million…”,
Milan: “I give them €4 million and hope for the best”
It is a gamble, but if he can make it back fully it will be a real great signing indeed. Please just stop with the speculating and the inquiries, just sign him and Kaka please. Imagine Rossi and Pato up front, it would be deadly, opposition defences wouldn’t know what to do against two fast technically gifted strikers, wow.
Let this happen Galliani, please, and then Kaka as trequartista…amazing. With an eventual signing in midfield as well.
i think you’re asking way too much, Milan doesn’t have the money to bring in Rossi and Kaka
Make it happen , last year barca and juve were offering 30m, lets get him for 10m and wait untill fabruary as we would have pato, robinho, cassano,el shaarawy and maybe niang if he comes. His quality will never go away
This is so worth the gamble. Go for it Fester!
yes he’s currently out injuried which is good for Milan else he would cost some more penny. lets consider it this way… you sign a player then loan him out for 6 months?. besides, we are talking about a player who could cost like 30mil had it not been the unfortunate condition surrounding him and his club.
now might be Available for 10mill?? I would pay 15 for him. this is a guy who used to score over 27 goals per season and he’s still just 25. he worth every penny of that 10mil. gettt him Sahin and Diego (both not having good time in their respective club).
Are hear that milan want exchange mexes for benther.and cassano for our former goal loser ‘boriello’.tell me more about acmilan transfer news
…replacement for robinho when he leaves in january.(or cassano).
So strange, this guy once said he would love a move to milan but then we Ignored him and now we are after him while he is injured.
He was worth a lot that time.
I prefer matri or injured rossi dan boriello even if I don’t like matri
great player, he could play behind the strikers but Allegri would never do that
Rossi and Sahin
Good decision hope it goes through and if it did hope Rossi recovers and get back to form. Forza Milan
Rossi and Sahin, Niang and Mbiwa(if Mexes leaves. Adding Diego(if Kaka is too expensive) would be good too.
nah allegri would prefer to play urby a lb, in am position than grossi who is a second striker.
g.rossi pato robinho
noce monty boateng
that would never happen
g.rossi, kaka, sahin, carvalho, yanga mbiwa. seriously is dat hard for milan.
yes it is. why should we pay for mbiwa if he’ll be coming for free in a year anyways? carvalho and kaka are both old, so they don’t fit our youth target. most we’ll get is g.rossi or matri and 1 of kaka, sahin, khedira (underline most) + 1 defender if mexes leaves . learn to deal with it.
Sahin might be possible, Mbiwa might come in January, it cant be both Kaka and Rossi, only one attacker will come
omggg people!!! stop saying that sahin will come etc its never going to happen becuz there is no way we can afford him and he would most probably go to a english team or stay in spain
Sometimes i try to think when Madrid fans wud start thanking God dat the club wants to sign an injured player. U guyz claim d guy is very good n cheap bt y is it only Milan dat is considering him? Becos no sane club wud buy an injured player unless he is Messi. Fernando Torres talents are not in doubt bt after his injury and move to chelsea he has neva been his best. I wudn’t advise Milan to buy him bt if the Management could buy Acerbi as nesta’s heir, i wudn’t b surprised if this move happens.
milanfan….. learn to deal with wat cuzz. hav u seen this milan team. carvalho is old yes, but he is clearly better than all our cbs, beside mexes. we need mbiwa now, not in january son, kaka can play, g.rossi is not available till february. so y not get both ai…….
learn to deal with the fact that we’re dealing with a low budget. if we spend a cent over what we have in our budget, we won’t be allowed to play in next year’s champions league. i’d even prefer we keep our squad the way it is than to risk automatic disqualification from cl next year. zapata, mexes, acerbi are enough for now – all are good. all 3 can be in top 10 serie a defenders. bonera has also stepped up his game, so we can wait till 2013 for mbiwa. kaka is a second striker/trequartista, while what we’re… Read more »
i agree with most of ur points on here milanfan but thats not true. Our budget has been set by Berlusconi as he wants to avoid making ANY losses next year, but we can make a loss of upto 45m and still compete in the CL. so potentially we can spend 30-35m euros and sign a few good players but instead galliani has been given 15-20m for 3 players which is why he is taking his time
i think the budget was set lower because our revenue is expected to decrease this season. i mean, look at our season ticket sales so far. really low compared to last 2 years.
agreed. but we can still splash some cash and get away with it cuz our expenses have reduced dramatically(in terms of wages). but berlusconi does not want to spend im times of a financial crisis(plus his firms have taken hits) and the loda mandadori case(or lodi) was a huge hit on the berlusconi family
yeah that’s also very true
u want bonera starting every game, than pay for mbiwa now. hahah, u crak me up cuzz.
Do u guys knw y berca is no more interested in him, I bet no.
He is believed to never play at d same standard as b4 d injury. D doctors Made a very crucial mistake d first time d injury was fixed, forcing dem to reinjure (hence d double knee injury) d knee so dey can fix it again.
We really r making d gamble of d decade.
Those complaining about Rossi need to know that after Zapata’s signing, our options were reduced to only G.Rossi, Boriello, Matri, or Bendtner.
off-topic, juve have confirmed negotiations with Llorente. I wonder… on their best form, who do you think is better? Llorente or Pato?
Pato 10000%
u guys are so funny don’t ever get tired doing the same thing over and over again?..milan management don’t listen to fans or even care about the club’s development anymore..LISTEN! the main objective of this blog is to keep the fans day dreaming with lies and silly rumours which will never materialise..the only time i get to read a post from this blog is when the squad players speak
Well, looks like you read this post and all the comments.
this is great news for milan after a long period of darkness, I hope mr g will find it in himself to part with €10mill for rossi. As many other people have said, this is the guy who was costing more than €30mill before his team got relegated and him picking injuries, infact i think for rossi €10mill is a bargain. And considering the type of player he is, he works hard on the pitch, he can drop back in midfield to help, he has great vision, he is creative (which is what we lack both in midfield and upfront),… Read more »
Milanfan….. Who told u we will qualify to UCL with this squad. Keeping the squad like this will be the worst thing. This season will be our worse season in history. The mgt think we don’t have heart so they keep playing with our emotion b’cos that how they get their happiness.
of course it will qualify for CL, unless we have lots of injuries like last season. our only challengers are juve, inter, napoli and roma (imo udinese are going to drop this year). roma’s coach is VERY attacking, so there’s always a chance they’ll concede more goals than they score, despite their good squad. napoli’s defence is still as bad as before. inter needs to seriously step up. so yeah, there’s a huge chance of us qualifying for CL. and anyway, even if the squad wasn’t good enough, it’s still better than automatic disqualification. at least this way we have… Read more »
kaka & sahin to milan.. i hope this could be trou

use google translate if you dont speak ita..
Giuseppe Rossi is a good signing, bit of a risk but at 25 he’s still young and can still do well…in my eyes its a better gamble than KaKa who is 30, injury proned and v costly! You guys on this blog are the biggest hypocrits ever! Youl never be happy with what milan mgt do. You guys need to realise when making a transfer its always a gamble, you gotta look at the potential, talent, form and character of a player to succeed! Every transfer is a risk and gamble! We should get Sahin and adebayor as well! Then… Read more »
Get adebayor? Have u seen his wages? Or do u think every player lovws milan so much that they are willing to reduce their wages. And how many times musst u be educated abt the non eu thing?smh
@makAveli, read my post after and youl see…besidesn adebayor may have english citizenship, been in england for more than 5years… City are willing to sell him for 5mil to spurs, I don’t think spurs can afford his wages if they as high as you say it is…but hey, you prob know a whole lot more about football than anyone on this blog, and probably galliani as well
I’m speechless but u fans have 2 no is this is not d end of d world. Milan till death came knocking. Forza Milan.
even beyond death, i will go to heaven or hell wherever i see red and black !
5mil for adebayor is good. He will definately lower his wages to play for us.
Congraculation to Milan Fan..
According to SKY NEWS Agreement have been Reach between Milan and Vilareal over Rossi Deal..
@nyemasem, he wud lower his wages because of wat? Because playing for Milan wud make him win d Ballon d’or?
Milan management are going to buy who they want, not who d fans want. As for me, i’m done bothering maself abt Milan.
I’m sorry to break your bubble but adebayor has no english passport. Its not about the number of yrs u live in england necessarily.(tevez is in his 7th year). And tottenham did match his wages.but ade wants all the transfer money to come to him
Wikipedia already states that rossi is a milan player
Hey were you guys serious about G.Rossi joining Milan?Because I looked around skysports news and foxsoccer and it does not say anything about G.Rossi joining.
That’s because the English media doesn’t get 99% of the Milan news. This was reported by Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia.
whn did u hear dat news.if so i pray it workout it a step of little progress nice one
rossi re injured himself in april 2012, so I’m not sure how helpful it will be to get him because he won’t be recovered for another 8 months or so. We won’t use him this season if we sign him
@milanfan. How are you even sure we are going to qualify four champions league this season especially with Boriello leading our line.
