Report: Albertazzi wants to stay at Milan

27

MICHELANGELO ALBERTAZZI wants to stay at Milan but the Rossoneri want him loaned out.

One of the most pleasant surprises for Milan in the Trofeo TIM was Michelangelo Albertazzi. The defender played alongside new signing Francesco Acerbi against Inter and was arguably the more impressive one.

Milan conceded twice against the Nerazzurri in the 45-minute game but neither goal was at fault of Albertazzi who today was mentioned in the newspapers as one of the revelations of the TIM tournament.

Milan: Yanga-Mbiwa is the primary target?
Allegri: “Milan target a top three position”

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Albertazzi – who has a blue belt in Karate – wants to stay at Milan and be part of the squad in the 2012/2013 season. However, the Rossoneri would rather send him on loan once again in order to gain experience and play with more consistency in the XI of a team in Italy or abroad.

Albertazzi, 21-years-old, was sent on loan to Spanish side Getafe last year but did not play there at all so he returned in January and then was loaned to Varese but only recorded two games with the Serie B team.

Better to stay here since i*diot teams dont play him

aka

keep him……he looks better than all our current cb (not kidding)…this is our cha nce to be like barca and use our promising youths since the oldies have gone!

azad

yet again… this is why our management sucks! do all those stupid things all over again! keep this kid and give him a chance… blind blind blind! we have to loan out our management to a team in serie C to gain some experience! no kidding

Kwabena Adu

Albertazzi should take the place of Acerbi
Acerbi is too heavy and slow beside this his timing is very bad

Ted

Albertazzi, Valoti, Carmona, Ganz should all be promoted

Shenko Gh

Hope he stays since he is far better than both bonera and yepes.

payam

i want astori and alberazzi at milan, they much better than a player like bonera, sell bonera and keep them.

milanfan

We have 4 centre backs right now – Mexes, Acerbi, Yepes and Bonera. We’ll buy another CB – most probably Yanga-Mbiwa. That means we’ll have 5 centre backs. If we were to promote albertazzi, we’ll have 6. He simply wouldn’t get enough playing time. Of course, if the same thing happens on loan, it might be better to keep him and let Tas*soti do his work. Either way, it looks like whether we keep him now or loan him out, he’ll be in the Milan squad for the 2013/14 season – something I’ll be looking forward to.

Ali

Having 6 CB doesn’t necessarily mean Albertazzi is going to be 6th in the pecking order.

milanfan

normally I’d agree, but we all know that Allegri sometimes picks experience over ability, so he most likely is going to be 6th or 5th in the pecking order

flooresens

he can also play as LB. he’s got more chances to fill that role

Nyemasem

@azad u are right. Our mgt is not competent. They are visionless and aimless.

Viktor

ALBERTAZZI deserves to play as a starter for the first team ! he was magnificent in the Tim Cup ! He is way too better than Yepes,Acerbi,Bonera and even Mexes ! He is the fastest defender we have and is also very tall, passes the ball very good (al least in the Tim Cup every long pass was good !) PROMOTE HIM !!!

dko

Albertazzi, carmona,Ganz and Valloti should be encouraged coz they’re better than those we just bought…Milan MGT plzzz encourage our young boys coz they are more better

Milanista121

I hope Albertazzi stays with us, he was very impressive and kept Milito quiet, outmuscled him several times, I really hope he gets his shot here, and I hope he gets to show his worth in these friendlies so he can impress the management further. He’s very talented that’s for sure.
I would not mind a future partnership between Yang-Mbiwa (hopefully he’ll arrive) and Albertazzi. On another note I hope Carmona and Ganz gets promoted, both of them runs alot, and Carmona is very techincally gifted, he could become our future trequartista.

Viktor

Also Carmona, Cristante and Valoti should be promoted !!!

Viktor

Milanista121, you are right ! a duo of Yanga-Mbiwa and Albertazzi sounds the best that we can afford at the centre of deffence ! both fast, pass very good, marking as well !

elia ngalu

we should promote these young promising talented players..also a loan will be good but only to an italian club probably serie B where he can get enough playing time

donsky

Promote him…he is in the age to be promoted. We can’t judge him by one friendly competion, but still he is promising. Don’t make a mistake again just like Milan did to Astori. Now he is a top defender.

Anthony

We don’t need Yepes. I still have flashbacks of his poor positioning against Tottenham. I would rather have a young player play and make mistakes and improve himself rather than a 35 yr old who can’t improve himself.

nick

I don’t understand why Milan are so reluctant to give these youngsters the chance to play. Maldini and Albertini were given the opportunity at 16yrs old but yet the refuse to have faith in Albertazzi, De Sciglio, Carmona, Ganz, Valoti and Cristante.

This really pisses my off especially when I saw how much better Albertazzi was than Acerbi.

Didac Vila should be given a chance as well.

Nicky

Yes, he deserves to be promoted, much like Valoti, Ganz and Carmona. However, Galliani will never allow it. It’s idiot decisions like these that are gradually sinking our ship. Youngsters are our future, but only under a new management. These old men are only interested in washed up has beens with ridiculous salaries.

ronaldinho1992

Sell yepes and give a chance to albertazzi. We really dont need his experience, because he is not a leader, so he cant help to our youngsters.

I just dont get it, why our management not give a chance to our young players. It was long time ago, when we made top player like maldini, tassoti…our best player after maldini we made is abate, who is average. He is only fast nothing more.Give a chance to valoti, albertazzi, ganz etc…

Ted

Yepes is not a leader? After Nesta and Silva he’s the only leader that can teach young defenders… Dinho80

Trinimilanista

This is where it starts. Horrible decision making from the top. Thought as much…after selling Silva and buying Aslowbi it’s clear B&G only want fodder backs in defense( Bonera, Yepes, Mesbah etc). Apparently Albertazzi is too good to play in Milan’s defense…….

Kuchini

@azad, u re so right. The Milan management needs to be loaned out to gain some experience on how to handle youth players. How many times are barcas youth players loaned out. Look at how we have managed Palosci and we even sold Merkel. Smh!

shakur

guyz if theres no ambrosini or abiati on d pitch whos going to be our captain
