MILAN are being linked with a move to Alessandro Matri as foreign options are too expensive.
A new has been added to list of strikers Milan are looking at. The Rossoneri are certainly going to sign a striker after selling Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Paris Saint-Germain, which became official earlier this week.
Milan have been exploring the options of signing Carlos Tevez, Edin Dzeko and Leandro Damiao in the last days but there are also cheaper options on the table for Milan, one of them being Alessandro Matri.

According to today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan consider all foreign options just too expensive and are also looking for cheaper players. Matri is being linked with a Juventus exit as they are looking to sign a top striker (Robin Van Persie, Stefan Jovetic). Milan already met Matri’s agent Tullio Tinti yesterday in via Turati.
Matri’s salary is not even €2m and his price tag is believed to be negotiable as relationship between Juventus and Milan is good at the moment. Massimiliano Allegri is familiar with the 28 year old forward as he coached him at Cagliari. Matri is also a youth product of Milan has one appearance in his record as a player with the red & black shirt of Milan. However, Matri is not the player that would make fans dream.
Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani promised a champion in attack and even though Matri is the champion of Italy with Juventus, he’s certainly not in the category of a top striker, hence Juve replace him.
The Rossoneri are interested in signing Sport Club Internacional’s Damiao according to the player’s agent but the price tag of the young Brazilian (22) is €20 million at least and he earns €2 million already. Tevez and Dzeko meanwhile would be much more expensive as their wages are higher than €5 million a year.
It’s not clear whether Milan are looking to sign an expensive striker or a cheap one as while Gazzetta reports of Matri, il Corriere dello Sport suggests il Diavolo are interested in Arsenal’s Robin Van Persie.

How can you be ashamed of owners that have delivered us 2 CL trophies, should have been 3 (liverpool disaster) in the last decade??? Owners who have taken our club from what looked like bankruptcy and took it to the top of the world. Also, losing Ibra and Thiago is not bad at all. when we now sign damia for 20 million € it would be the same as when we would sign all three years a new sstriker for 10 million € because leandro damia da silva dos santos could stay for a lober period or we sell him again. if he is like a bomb he can be sold for 40 million € in 4/5 years.

Juve are getting rid of him to get better players, Jovetic/RvP, and we’re getting him as our “champion” signing, I don’t think this will happen though, I expect one of Damiao or Dzeko.

No one ( very few) people will buy the jersey of Matri, Abate, Constant, Nocerino, Robinho etc.

@Timmey u are right. No rational human being will go to the stadium to watch mediocres like constant,acerbi,traore,robinho,ambrosini,bonera,yepes and antonini. They are not marketable. The don’t deserve to play for milan but due to visionless,aimless and stingy leaders they are in the team.
Milan is not a team to support, always bad players to come, good player out, milan will be like lecce one day.
