Forbes: Milan 27th most valuable sports team

16

MILAN are the most valuable Italian team in the world with a value of $989 million, Forbes reports.

Milan may be losing quality and value on the pitch with the sales of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Thiago Silva to Paris Saint-Germain but they are still the most valuable Italian team in the world according to Forbes.

The American magazine published today a list of the 50 most valuable sports team in the world. In that list you can find all 32 NLF teams but also a respectable amount of football clubs with great market value.

Gattuso: “Milan are in difficulty, Allegri wanted me out”
Rolando only wants to join Milan

Manchester United are at the top of the list (again!) with an insane value of $2.23 billion, followed by Real Madrid whose value is $1.88 billion. After a few baseball and American Football clubs, FC Barcelona come in 8th place with $1.31 billion. Arsenal are in 10th with $1.29 billion, Bayern Munich are next – $1.23 billion.

From 11th place we go straight to 27th with Milan being the sixth most valuable football team in the world and number one in Italy with a value of $989 million. Chelsea are the next and last football team included in the Top 50, and they are ranked at 45th. The American Football teams dominant with 32 representatives.

This is what Forbes have written of Milan:

Value: $989 million
Owner: Silvio Berlusconi

AC Milan won the Serie A title for the 18th time during the 2010-11 season, tying them with Inter Milan for the second-most Italian championships, but finished second behind Juventus in 2012. The Rossoneri are the most valuable Italian team, but lavish spending on players caused the team’s operating income (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) to decline to $29 million in 2011 from $41 million in 2009. Still, with Audi, Sky Italia, Taci Oil and Emirates as sponsors, AC Milan generated commercial revenue of $133 million during 2011. Former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has owned the club since 1986.

Buying San Siro is not a gd idea. Better to build a new one.

milango

belus selling club now

inzaghi lagos

if we can own a stadium the revenue generated from the gate add to it we can even lend the stadium name out to companies 4 revenue as well.the only way to do this is by selling just a little portion of the club out like 30% to the ARAB WORLD then we get into new world. B&G Think fast b4 is 2 late 4 u

Inter are going to build a new stadium here in a few years so we should buy out san siro and renovate it.

I also read Cassano now wants to move away to Genoa, we should trade him for Destro. Its beyond me though that he wants to move as soon as things start to look a bit gloomy while we waited for him and supported him this whole year with his recovery

not so important. we want stars

Being sixth is great and we could be better.

As for the stadium, we are going to build our Stadium or buy out the San Siro, we shouldn’t be worried.

All we need, for now, is the right replacements for all the players who have left.

A ST, CDM/Regista, CB, and LB(If Vila leaves) and when these players are in the team, we should get, if possible, an extra CB(If Yepes is found to be Injured, or Mexes leaves) and a CM.

And only if found for cheap, We should get a CAM and of course a striker(if Robinho leaves).

Norman

Milan will get Berbatov, the poor man’s Ibra

Pa ibra

infact this a bad thing as no sheikh will be willing to give Berlu 9 milion for a club without stars. And Cassano too is going. We are screwed

Milan and Madrid are both labeled the most successful teams in the history of football but the gap in value is such a contrast like night and day!!

Milan4ever

Necessary Players:
St= Damiao/Dzeko/Lewandowski
CDM/Regista= Sahin/Diarra/Fernando(Porto)
CB=
LB= Santon/Kolarov(IF Vila leaves)
Later:
Extar CM= Poli
Extra CAM= Kaka(experience and name and only if for cheap)
Extra CB= Dede/Ogbonna/Astori/Kyriakos Papadopoulos
Extra ST(if Robinho leaves)= Destro(don’t let Robinho leave if the agreement for Destro isn’t in place)

People don’t realise how much world wide reach milan have. Teams like PSG and city might have some money but to get on the level of milan is 100 years too early.
