URBANO CAIRO has suggested Ogbonna won’t move from Torino, and claimed they’ll sign Mesbah.
Milan have already started looking for replacements for Thiago Silva who is on his way to Paris Saint-Germain along with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and one of the mentioned names is the one of Angelo Ogbonna.
The Torino man is considered one of the best Italian center backs at the moment, even though he has absolutely no Serie A experience. Torino President Cairo claims the costly defender will stay in Turin.
Thiago-Ibra to PSG: The announcement on Monday?
Constant: “Joining Milan is a step forward”
“I’ve already said so many times: I want to keep Ogbonna, and the player is very happy to stay with Torino. We have never spoken specifically of Ogbonna with Adriano Galliani,” Urbano Cairo told Sky Sport 24. Ogbonna was part of Cesare Prandelli’s 23-man for the Euro’s in Poland & Ukraine but did not play at all.
Milan have been dealing with Torino these days but not for Ogbonna but for Djamel Mesbah. The left-back is out of favour in Milanello and appears to be on his way to Torino. Cairo confirms the negotiations.
“We already have an agreement on everything with Milan,” Cairo added. “Marseille had a verbal deal with the lad, which is French-Algerian, and he appreciated the destination. However, Olympique did not offer what Torino have to Milan and they withdrew the negotiations. I think Mesbah would arrive to Turin.
Milan could get 1.7m for half of Mesbah as they continue to reduce the size of the squad. Taye Taiwo is also expected to be shown the exit door with a few foreigner clubs interested in the player’s services.
Isnt he a Milan fan?
Why wouldnt he want to move here? :/
There could be 2 reasons. a) he wants guaranteed playing time and b) the issue is not that ogbonna doesn’t want to come here, but that torino doesn’t want to sell him
Kyriajo papadoupolos is the best choice for milan hes exactly the same type of player like thiagoo silva only younger with 7 years…not as good as t33 but can become as good as him or even better in time…i hope that milan will understand this….FORZA MILAN!!
Kyriakos Papadopoulos*
The team is not competitive anymore
It will be very difficult to attract players like his type,he will rather join Juve at least he can win the Seria A and maybe the CL
