STPEHAN EL SHAARAWY will renew his contract and get improved wages, his agent reveals.
El Shaarawy is one of the brightest prospects in Italy at the moment and after winning his signature last summer, Milan are looking to tie the forward to a deal which would ensure their confidence in him.
Stephan will be one of the five forwards in the Milan squad next season and he has already said that he hopes to get more playing time and be more important. He will now also sign a new contract with Milan.
T. Silva: “I’ve never thought of leaving”
Milan-Juventus axis to sign El Kaddouri?
“The meeting with Milan [regarding El Shaarawy’s contract renewal] went really well. It was again confirmed that Milan have great faith in Stephan,” El Shaarawy’s agent, Roberto La Florio said. “The renewal of El Shaarawy’s contract is just a question of minor details. We will sign the contract extension next week.
“If my client’s salary has been doubled? I don’t want to talk about figures but the player will definitely get a good increase.” According to reports in Italy, El Shaarawy’s demand is €1 million per year. He currently earns €600,000 yearly and Milan have offered him €800k but his agent insists on €1 million for a season.
“Stephan is motivated and he can’t wait to begin playing again and repay the faith that the directors and Allegri have in him,” La Florio added. “Stephan managed to relax and enjoy his vacation. He spent a month in Sardinia and Liguria with his family and friends. El Shaarawy already completed the medicals in order to plan a precise training schedule for him during pre-season. El Shaarawy need to lose a few kilos.
“On Monday he will be working hard again, and get back into the perfect shape. Some clubs have shown their interest in El Shaarawy but nothing concrete. Milan already avoided the siege from other clubs by investing €20m in the player. It’s normal that Milan expect even more from El Shaarawy this season, as he has a precise development path to follow. El Shaarawy has a lot of personality. He’s a guy who’s easy to get along with. From Monday, he will be roommates at Milanello with Antonini, who lives and breathes Milan.
“El Shaarawy knows that he can count on Antonini’s experience in order to develop further. Milan will count on five strikers, and like Vice President Adriano Galliani confirmed to me, a new player will only arrive if someone leaves. El Shaarawy will show his worth on the pitch. I’m convinced of it and so are Milan.
“Stephan has demonstrated that he has the character to play for a big club and I hope that he will do even better next season. I hope that El Shaarawy will keep on playing for Milan for a long time,” he concluded.
El Shaarawy and his hair which is “a part of his personality” according to La Florio will arrive to Milan on Monday for the first training of the new season; for the first time in years, Alessandro Nesta, Pippo Inzaghi, Rino Gattuso and Clarence Seedorf will not be part of the season opening session as they’ve left the club.
“Nesta and Seedorf have taught me a lot both on a personal level and also about football,” El Shaarawy told Sky Sport 24. “I hope that I’ll get more playing time next season. My objective is to play the 2014 World Cup in Brazil with the Italian national team. It’s my dream too. If Juventus are the favorites to win the Scudetto for next season? We’re also among the favorites. We have a lot of confidence in our potential.”
El Shaarawy played 28 games for Milan in his debut season in which Milan failed to win the Scudetto. El Shaarawy, who also scored 4 goals last term, believes Milan have what it takes to win it next year.
Wow .an increase on his 2nd season . Hope he gets playin time .
Forza faronne
Gr8 news!!!!!!
I feel that the ganso Robinho move will happen as el shaarawy will get playin time…… Hope hope hope and lets promote a youth for the st position
He needs to play more games this season…he will be lethal…
Moussa Sissoko(22,CM-Toulouse) is a player we should find agreement with as he is really good and his contract ends in 2013.
El Shaarawy will get more playing as Pato will be off to the olympics and therefore he will need some rest at the start of the season. For this reason I am also worried about our defense as Thiago Silva will need some rest during the start of the season because of the olympics and we cannot rely on Bonera, Yepes, and Acerbi to lead the team in Thiago Silva’s absence. Therefore we need another world class defender like Dede since we allowed Inter to buy Silvestre. If we have another injury prone season our bench players are just not… Read more »
yea Parolo has gone down with Cesena and Galliani has been keen on him… i wonder why we don’t make a move? he would have been a much better signing than Traore
speechless
why is allegri so stubborn by putting SES as a striker? SES can play much better as a trequartista. he is young, has stamina, can distribute the ball very well, can give some assists and score with his long range shooting. why is allegri so reluctant to try with new strategies?
Our Squad for the 2013-14 season should have the following players in it:
Goalkeepers:Gabriel, Amelia, Abbiati
Defenders:Acerbi,Mexès,Bonera,Thiago,Dede,Urby,Criscito,Abate,De Sciglio
Midfielderd:Sissoko,Montolivo,Strootman,Sahin,Nocerino, Ganso,Constant/Traoré,Boateng
Forwards: Destro,El Shaarawy,Rossi,Pato, Ibrahimovic/Balotelli
dreams are allowed i guess lol
This can only happen if we get Ganso and Destro in this market, and Dede and Sahin in jan, which is highly unlikely, and Criscito, Sissoko, Strootman, Balotelli, and Rossi next year.
What I just said would never happen, I know!!!!
Lol dat lineup aint gonna happen in a million years .
Im just gud wit sahin . N i heard juve re close to jovetic . Now im scared .
we could offer Robinho for Ganso and use him as a RCM(turn him into a Pirlo) and we could sign a striker like Destro. If possible we should get Sahin too.
A line up of Abbiati-Abate-Acerbi-Silva-Urby-Ganso-Montolivo-Nocerino-Boateng-Pato-Ibra, when fit, would be deadly.
GK:Abbiati,Gabriel,Amelia(3)
DEF:,Abate,De Sciglio, Acerbi,Mexès,Bonera,Thiago,Yepes,Urby,Antonini(9)
MID:Montolivo,Boateng,Ganso?,Nocerino,Sahin?,Muntari,Traoré,Flamini,Constant,Ambrosini(10)
ATT: El Shaarawy, Antonio,Pato,Ibrahimovic(4)Maybe add Destro?(If we don’t count Muntari Now)
OH nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!! Keita is a free agent!!! Galliani dont get him pls!!!!!!
Dnt worry he’s going to china…..
Patofi
First of all, the chances that anyone from Milan actually reads this blog are like 0.0000000000001 percent (i mean seriously, they’re italians, even if they do follow the fans, it would be on an italian blog), so your username is kind of useless. Second, u spelled Scudetto wrong. Third, Milano is the city, the club is Milan. Named so because our founders were English, not Italian. And fourth, i have no idea what your comment means :/
Carroll on a one year loan deal to replace Robinho is what’s being rumored, would u rather him or Destro????
lol, i’d rather keep Robinho and increase his wages to 50mil than get Carrol. Of course Destro would be better. And anyway, I’m pretty sure that it’s a false rumour. Our management can’t be that blind, can it? The only thing Carrol has going for him is height and a thick skull for heading. Apart from that, he is totally useless, and even then his headers rarely go in.
Carroll sucks plus why would he replace Robinho? Carroll is similar to Ibra just not near as good.
These agents are god damn spoilsports and are greedy ,Hope the players get educated as Accountants just like Nocerino and choose a career for themselves and how long they want to live in it. SES is a good player he is got the potential to become one of the best that doesn’t mean he should be given all the money and fame in Milan just because other players have been given a raise. He is got a lot to prove, what if he doesn’t turn out to be what everyone wants him to be. There is a lot of IF’s… Read more »
I Wonder how carol became a player playing top flight football. ENGLISH PREMIERSHIP SUCKS!!!. These kinda players are meant for rugby and the thought of seeing him at our beloved millanelo makes me wana puke :s.
SES is gona trill us all come this season. Y,all should just brace up for a breath taking farone.
Great. Now Milan shouldn’t sell Ibra…Get Pato in his feet give Pato another chance…but Milan needs few more players in order to compete with Barca, Real, Manchester Utd, Man.City and the rest of Champions League first class teams
Robinho,is far far beta dan both destro n carroll put 2geda.u guys jst makes me laugh,som1 as creative as robi.if im nt wrong,he is d bst atackin ball pusher in d team folowd by emma.destro, carroll, hun!scoffs
