THE SQUAD – as of today – consists of 28 players with three goalkeepers, eleven defenders, nine midfielders and five forwards. The squad is still not complete as according to Coach Massimiliano Allegri and Vice President Adriano Galliani the Rossoneri still need another midfielder and it’ll be a regista, one who can play in front of the defense. In addition to one more expected arrival, players, like Taye Taiwo, are expected to leave while Gabriel still hasn’t signed the contract but will be part of the squad. Galliani said the squad next year will be of 25-26 players, and here is the current situation according to Milan Channel (picture via Milan Channel’s Presenter Laura Esposto – @LauraEsposto):
pls not emanuelson as trequarista. sell taiwo and mesbah and put him on the left back. constant and robinho can also play trequarista
sell: taiwo, mesbah, robinho
promote: valotti, comi/beretta
buy: strootman, rigoni
Beretta really impressed me in his only appearance for us. I’d like Paloschi or Beretta to be a backup for Pato. We need another quick guy who can finish. It is hard to see Cassano or Robinho scoring many goals as they are mainly creators.
Hmmmm i like our squrd now, but we need one strike more
lmao i just realized 75% of our squad is bullshit. we wont win anything with these. Being optimistic is one thing but if we gonna be realistic we have almost the same squad as last season difference is we hade more players to choose from last season. Cant see how we can win with thissquad with even less players.
Our best signing would be Berlusconi selling milan. Because it gets worse for every year for milan.
I am glad to see players like El Shaarawy and De Sciglio included. Maybe we will see Carmona and Valoti as well.
clearly we need trequarista more than any other maybe another cb also
First of all, football is not just the 11 players on the pitch, the coach and the substitutes. This is not the FIFA manager, so u can simply sell and buy whoever you want. Cut the c*ap! Let them do their jobs, they now better than we do! P.S. did you know who Boateng was, or Nocerino, or Abate, or El Sharaawy, before they were found by AC Milan? The first one was an average Premiership player, the second one not needed by Juventus, the third was in Empoli..etc. Maybe Constant, Acerbi, Didac Vila and Gabriel will be the best… Read more »
Agreed look how good muntari turned out…a bit rash sometimes but he started scoring.
Or even more so… NOCERINO! Nobody ever expected him to be anything more than a bad transfer, but he ended up scoring 10 campaign goals+ the one against Barca.
Valoti, carmona, beretta should be in the square…we need young guys who can play for 2hrs.
This squad is full of mediocres.
please get taiwo out of that list
We have great players already bt some of dem is walk dats why we perform bad towards d end of d season.pls berlusconi help us wit better midfields, strikers
Out: Taiwo, Mesbah, and maybe Robinho.
In: 2 midfielders
Loan: Rodney and Vila(if Allegri won’t try him)
Extra In: 1 Attacker(if Robinho leaves) and a LB(if didac leaves)
Our midfield looks so empty without big names like Gattuso Seedorf or Pirlo. I mean, there is no guaranteed starter besides Nocerino!
This team looks so average by Milan standard, we need playmakers to fit in the shoes of creative players like Pirlo and Seedorf. So our strikers would always get defence splitting passes and score goals.
In one thing we all agree, I bet even the club management agrees.
MESBAH and TAIWO should leave, they are struggling to make their way through. sell them if possible, if not give them for free, they are just some players that never play and get a salary.
Don’t buy anything, just get rid of them. It makes me sick whenever I see Mesbah who was fault that we lost to arsenal.
Seriously, this squad…I don’t see how this will put fear into peoples eyes…oh wow, Constant…look at Juve, they are close to both Asamoah and Isla…we need improvement… but beside these 25-26 players, there will be another two from our youth. Carmona is certain, we’ll see who the other is, I’m hoping for Innocenti, a box-to-box player, reminds me a bit of Marchisio. But seriously, get rid of Mesbah and Taiwo, for money or player + cash deals, and I don’t know what Constant is doing at Milan, sorry but it’s true, I haven’t seen a single good game from his… Read more »
noc is defintaly world class he scored as much as ineasta this season
i think milan lack a play maker, some one like pirlo.. but we need a good left back player.. cuting the age is good.
Sell taiwo & mesbah and get us Nuri Sahin & Strootman.
This squad wouldn’t make it in my team for a park pickup game aside from a few players like Silva, Zlatan, Abate, and Cassano. My goodness Juventus is running away with the tital again, and we’ll be ripped apart in Europe.
I don’t understand how we keep cribbing about Strrotman & Sahin. Do we really think that they will be torch bearers for Milan. Football is not just about the players, It’s about the coach management and culture of the club which will make the player a STAR. What KAKA was for Milan will never be of RM, because their culture is different from ours.I believe very strongly that the team is in the hands of Allegri, It is he who got the right and attitude to turn our players into great players. Let’s see what he is capable of, so… Read more »
