MATHIEU FLAMINI will leave Milan on a Bosman transfer so Milan will now sign another midfielder.
Flamini’s contract is due to expire in nine days and Milan no longer have interest in signing him as he did not give them answer about the offer Milan made for him, so he’ll leave on a free transfer in the summer.
Adriano Galliani confirmed it. Flamini was offered a new two-year deal with a big cut in his wages (from €4.5 to €1.8 million a season) but he didn’t agree to sign it so Milan will look to sign another midfielder.
Milan tie up deals for duo
Injuries: Muntari ruled out for 5-6 months
“The deadline has passed and we told his [Flamini’s] lawyer we won’t be waiting any longer,” Milan Vice President Galliani told reporters on Wednesday evening. “We’ll bring in a new midfielder by August 31. It could be Alberto Aquilani or someone else, as he is a Liverpool player and we’re not in talks with them.
“We won’t sign another striker as we have five forwards, so there’s no need to even consider bringing in another striker.” Milan have been linked again with a move for City’s Carlos Tevez as Robinho might leave.
Milan have agreed two transfers on Wednesday as Francesco Acerbi will join Milan on a co-ownership deal for a reported €4 million fee while Kevin Constant will leave the Rossoneri on loan with an option to buy him out next summer. “Until he [Acerbi] undergoes the medical check-ups I won’t say anything, but he looks healthy!” Galliani continued. “I think Acerbi is an excellent centre-back who can improve further.
“We snapped Constant up like a shot once he was offered and President Enrico Preziosi was very nice about it. We already wanted to sign Constant last year, so agreeing with Coach Massimiliano Allegri we decided to get him when we found out about Sulley Muntari’s injury.” Constant is a 25-year-old midfielder.
Muntari is out for 5-6 months, excluding complications, after picking up a knee injury. “It was a bad injury. I’ve never seen this before, a player wrecking a cruciate ligament when on vacation,” the CEO added.
Did we sign Muntari then….?
Good news for us is that this clown is leaving but Iam afraid that Juve is getting stronger and stronger.
I am hoping Flamini doesn’t go to Juve to take revenge. He is got better chances to make it at PSG Lyon Montpellier Spurs Malaga Anzi. His injuries made him a bad player but if he is able to shake them off and start afresh he will go on to become a very good player.
Poor flamini we are wishing himm a better future elsewhere, but personally I will prefer to have merkel back than singning constant on loan.forza milan
He didn’t play much for the last couple of seasons and it doesn’t make any difference, but Allegri is aware of the players we have now and will best know how to field them.We are mere spectators.
thanks for all flamini, but we dont need players who just plays for money, acerbi loves milan, he will do anything to play for milan….but if flamini doesnt want a paycut, altough he was injured the complet last saison…then he should go i woul like to see miguel veloso as flaminis replacement…he has a good technique and left foot montolivo Free traoare Free acerbi Co-Own 4M konstant Loan gabriel 500’K ————————- Total 4.5 M Sell Robinho 17-18M Didac 7-8M Bonera 3-4M Mesbah + 8/10M for Armero Taiwo +10/12M for Witsel Buy Armero 9M Witsel 11M Veloso Loan Yarmolekno 17M ———————… Read more »
we have both flamini and gattuso embeded in on man..Antonio Nocerino!!
this is good. i wanted him to leave. constant has been signed to cover for muntari, we are covered in central defence. We should look to offload taiwo, didac, mesbah(although i would like didac to be given a chance, he doesnt seem to be part of allegris plans…) and sign one LB(dossena, balzaretti, armero) hopefully balzaretti. galliani said we will get only 1 more mid but i have a feeling we will sign 2 or 3 players. I hope we offload robinho and use the money obtained(15-20m) to sign 3 midfielders. I dont mind rigoni(although 32, great spirit and one of… Read more »

Rico milan u are right. Veloso is milan quality.he will help the team a lot.
my dream:
veloso, strootman and witsel
strootman and witsel both want to play for milan
emanuelson could help strootman and witsel to integrate in milanelo because of the language…
sahin is a very good mfd, but i dont think that he likes milan like witsel or strootman…
but we could also try to get keisuke honda
first of all he is a very good player, but he could also be very good for our marketing strategy in east asia (japan)…can you imagine how many shirts would milan sell in japan because of him????
Good riddance to the guy who doesn’t want a pay cut but yet getting injured he bagged in 4.5 Million last season without no sweat.
Pls sell ibra n buy tevez den sell robinho n buy sahin…..den taiwo + 12m for witsel
For me, it’s okay if Flamini leaves, he has done a great job, when called upon, and when he’s 100 % fit, but he’s injured a lot, and if he won’t take the pay cut, I’m sorry he just can’t be one of the top earners at Milan when he’s just a great squad player. This is what Constant will be, if he’ll even get the chance to play, sure Muntari got injured, but I don’t see why we got him, he has Never impressed me in his various spells with Chievo and Genoa, so I don’t know what we… Read more »
