SILVIO BERLUSCONI met Adriano Galliani and Maxi Allegri to discuss what’s next for the Rossoneri.
Times are definitely changing at Milan: after the announcements of Alessandro Nesta, Filippo Inzaghi and Gennaro Gattuso and the expected departure of Clarence Seedorf as well, Milan need to think forward.
This disappointing season, which was “a big failure” in the words of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, made Milan understand that they need an overhaul in order to be able to seriously compete again in the highest levels.
Cassano: “Milan treat you like a King!”
Maldini: “Nesta a piece of Italian history”
La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting on Saturday that Milan President Silvio Berlusconi had a meeting with CEO Adriano Galliani and Coach Massimiliano Allegri to understand who’ll be the transfer targets for the summer. However, although not yet confirmed, the summer budget for new signings won’t be outstanding.
Bakaye Traoré has already confirmed he’s coming to Milan on a free transfer, while Riccardo Montolivo is believed to be a Milan player as well. Francesco Acerbi is also one of those reportedly-sealed Milan deals.
However, the Milano-based newspaper claims that Milan’s summer dream is Mario Balotelli. The troubled Manchester City striker could leave England in the summer after falling out with Coach Roberto Mancini. Galliani said a few times that in 2012 he could try and sign Balotelli who’s expected to feature for Italy in the Euro’s. It seems less likely now that Milan will be able to get Carlos Tevez who was a January target.
Another idea that came up during the meeting was Wesley Sneijder. The 27-year-old Inter attacking midfielder could be on the market this summer, but it’s pointed that chances he’ll end up at Milan are slim.

The easiest way to finance a move for a big name like Balotelli or Sneijder would be to sell Thiago Silva to Barcelona although this is something Milan don’t want to do. il Diavolo are apparently seeking new ways to improve their financial state, and Berlusconi is apparently considering selling 40% of his Milan stakes.
Milan also have future plans for a new stadium but no concrete options right now. Milan and Inter will continue to play at the San Siro although and the year of 2015, as Galliani said, it’ll be an “elite stadium.”
The former Italy Prime Minister will meet with his children and the directors of Milan’s holding company Fininvest within the next 2 weeks to set the transfer and salary budget for the next season. The Rossoneri will need an overhaul in the summer, but of course it all depends on the granted transfer budget.
It’s reported that Allegri now wants to add some technical quality to his midfield – a thing Berlusconi has been crying out for – as Milan’s midfield as of now consists entirely of muscles and no playmakers.
Galliani will also meet with Milan’s head athletic trainer, Daniele Tognaccini to discuss his future.

change tactics i have never seen Milan play with wingers it would be so cool if Lucas Moura comes
thank god.. buy som quality players.. bout time cuzzo.. woooooo. lets hope there not that cheap.. lol w8 n c.
Milan never play with wingers, because it’s not in their playingstyle. What happended when we played with wingers against Arsenal? We lost 3-0.
We never played with wingers against Arsenal…
nice that they think about the future and not just about money, but never sell thiago silva, that would be suicide
although i dont wanna get my hopes up too high, i see this as a big step in the right direction, i think wesley loves inter too much to come to milan, balotelli is a gd option, but milan need an amazing playmaker. and of course GRAZIE GATTUSO SEEDORF INZAGHI AND KING NESTA for all they gave us in their decade of service
Why should they sell T33 before they can finance the summer transfer? But Berlusconi is a billionaire…..Is that not true?
galliani wants to talk to Daniele Tognaccini over his future. nice to know. i hope he got fired and we get a new athletic coach
Once he meets his children….He won’t spend any money
selling thiago silva is suicide, please fans should do something about this impending doom!
CB:Mamadou Sakho 17m-20m
LB:Domenico Criscito 15m-16m
MD:Montolivo(FREE),Modric 35m or Ganso 18m-20m or Lucas Moura
Also our youngsters must promote
Trade robinho plus cash for ganzo. Ballotelli would be a good option, but we must let go of pato (never thort I’d say that) that will free up funds. Acerbi, traore and montolivo are good cheap buys. Focus on De sciglio I see alotta potential in him. And get a proper left back (maybe urby emanualson could be the solution afterall). Goalkeepers: Abiati, Amelia, ? Defenders: Bonera, Mexes, Yepes, Silva, Acerbi Abate, De Sciglio, Antonini,Mesbah Midfielders: Ambrosini,Strasser, Merkel,Nocerino,Emanuelson, Traore,Montolivo,Boateng,Ganzo. Strikers: El Sharaawy, Cassano, Ibrahimovic,Balotelli, Simone Ganz That’s a sqaud of 25 players. A good blend of youth and experience in… Read more »

if milan started to play with wings. they should buy armero as left wing and make abate right wing.. because i dont think abate will be better as rightback then he is now..
Berlusconi must prove how much he loves milan .
It’s good to hear things moving in a positive at Milan but things won’t be that bright until we change every mess we were in.Now If TSilva is not sold we should also look for a CB who will be a great support to him. It’s good to have backup in Mexes.Abate on the right is fine maybe a bit of talk and motivation from the coach is needed at times. Sciglio will be his good back up,Now Urby should be a permanent LB and Mesbah need to be given a tough talk and motivated to be a good back up.That… Read more »
let’s get ekotto 4rm tottenham to solve our lb probs.
why is everyone watching so much EPL?
someone suggested collocini and agger, now its ekotto
now we’re talking show ur magic in mercato boldie
Hope this is not one of their tricks to confuse the fan. Ibra n T silva are talking about quality and if we don’t buy they definately leave.
they should have had this meeting in 2007, we may have had a new stadium by now
It’s a G̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴͡.̮Ơ̴̴̴͡D̶̲̥̅ thing that berlusconi is thinking of replenishing D̶̲̥̅̊ team with D̶̲̥̅̊ imminent arrival of acerbi montolivo and D̶̲̥̅̊ other player but firstly I will liki to say that selling t33 will be so disastrous it will be G̶̲̥̅Ơ̴̴̴̴͡.̮Ơ̴̴̴͡D̶̲̥̅ if we have a variety of players and we make use of a swapping style which simply mean rotating of players for each matches to be played so that what has been happening will not happen again that is too much players sustaining injuries and secondly let’s swap robinho with ganso and add 7 million pounds to have ganso… Read more »
Yeah, fire that athletic coach… And in the process, snatch that incredible hot medic lady Eva Carneiro from Chelsea. They don’t deserve her…

’nuff said!
good start though, better late than never, hope we follow this step to a logical end
now with gattuso, van bommel, nesta, pippo and seedorf out we really have saved a lot of money…these guys had crazy salaries…ambrossini and flamini would lower their wages too …then we can raise T.Silva wages to stay at milan and have enough money to attract world class players…
we should sign criscito, astori, erikssen, keita or lass and montolivo…that would really be enough as de sciglio merkel pato and paloschi should be given a chance and more playing time for strasser and shaarawi…robinho should be sold and muntari should go ( very high wages for an average player )
We really need quality b’cos most of our players are mediocres.
ekotto is a gud lb & has said he won’t mind moving to italy, germany or spain,as he wants ucl football.
Even though we may not have an outstanding transfer budget this summer, I still think we can have a good mercato – we just need to be smart as well as selling one or two players. IN: Montolivo (Free) Traore (Free) Acerbi (1-5million?) Out (Sell): Pato (30 million) Robinho (10-15 million) Emanuelson (8 million) Keep at all cost: Ibrahimovic Silva Boateng Possible transfer targets: Ogbona (15million?) Criscito (10-15 million) Balotelli or Tevez (30 million) Eriksen or ganzo (15-20 million) This means that we would have to have an original transfer budget of 30 million and then add the revenue from… Read more »
He will meet with his children to set transfer budget – I bet you it will be like $10 million and Galliani will but 8 players with that lol. It’s sad how Milan does things nowadays.
How much is 40% of Milan asset?
What Berlusconi do with that money?
This is the best piece of news that I have heard about us as regards to bringing the club back to where it belongs since after 2007
Does bellu need to meet his children before deciding on the future of milan. This man doesn’t milan anymore.
we need sneijder to have that play maker!
Ibra Pato
erikson wesley kpb
monty/ noc
de sciglio mexes ts33 abate
BEAST line up
berlu needs to sell 40% of his stake in milan to The emir of Dubai this will finance our stadium credentials fly emirates would build a new stadium for us like they did for arsenal that would definitely sort out our financial problems the only thing milan needed is a new stadium and a new deal with fly emirates and adidas so we can cash in more money that would be a good strategy to me our transfer policies: IN: Christian Eriksen for sure because this kid in my eyes can become even greater than the mighty Laudrup.
