MILAN are apparently interested in bringing Kolarov in the summer and Carlos Tevez in January.
Negotiations with Manchester City over Carlos Tevez have reached a very delicate moment as Inter seem to have a deal in hand with the English club, while Milan have the strong will of the player to join il Diavolo.
According to the Italian media, Roberto Mancini’s side have until Tuesday to give an answer back on Milan’s new bid, but it emerges today that Tevez is not the only Citizens player Milan have taken interest in.

Milan’s left-back problems have not been solved with the arrival of Taye Taiwo, so the Rossoneri could be on the market for a new left-back and the name of City’s Aleksandar Kolarov came up today in the Italian press. Kolarov played three years for Lazio before making the switch to the English side for £16 million.
Kolarov’s price is believed to be around €10 million. Milan can’t get him in January though as the priority is Tevez who would fill the remaining non-EU spot – so Milan could make a bid in the summer for the Serbian. Taiwo is meanwhile said to leave Milan in the summer market as he’s failed to impress so far.
There are rumours at the mean time that Adriano Galliani could swoop for Riccardo Montolivo in the last week of the January market – a “take it or leave it” kind of offer as Monty would be free in June anyway.

Noo, it means their offer is the offer Manchester City really likes and accepts, but Milan is the team that Tevez wants to join and so they can’t sell him unless he wants to, and at the moment he only wants Ac Milan, so if they wanna sell him they have to agree with the offer we gave them (:

Having more italians would be great, but Kolarov is a very good left back. I hope we do get him and Molinaro so that we can drop taiwo and antonini they both failed!
Milan is not an italian national team,it belongs to everybody. We need quality players not italian mediocres. Ghana qualified for the nations cup.

Guys you are looking for problems,where are not.Taiwo is start play very well,and why we should sign tevez,better option would be ganso,he is younger and cheaper-we should get him for about 15 million with bonuses.Tevez is very expensive,at end of the season we should pay above 20 million and we dont know in what condition is.If is 15 million to high,we should go for montolivo.
With the first part, i agree- Taiwo is getting better. He did well in his last few games. But on the other hand, our best LB, Zambrotta will leave us at the end of this season, and Antonini doesn’t make me confident (he is better than 2 years ago but still) when he is a starter, and he is a sub for Abate too. I kinda agree, but then we would be very dependant on Pippo and El Sharaawy, not even mentioning that if we wanted a win in the CL Pato would have to go through the best form of his life so far for us to be able to. I do agree that our priority should be a true playmaker, rather than a striker. Would rather see Ibra getting nice pa*sses and scoring lots, instead of him playing as a midfilder…
Ganso is the man we could try.
I think winning the CL is more a reality in next season than in this season. We are definitely strong, but lack of players in 2-3 positions, who can arrive for next season (an LB, a CDM and a true playmaker needed).
In CL my absolute minimum is the top8, and i’d be happy with the top4.
Personally I’d prefer Santon or Criscito, but Kolarov is a good player, and only 26 (better than bring in Maxwell).
But Taiwo will stay until june (at least), unless we buy an LB in the winter-market. Why? Because we only have Antonini and Zambrotta as LB, and sometimes it looked quite a few. We need 3 players for a position if 2 of them are injury prone.
One thing: Tevez have english passport i think, so he doesn’t fill the Non-EU place.

It’s pitty for Tevez that he will win the CHampions League with us just like brazilian Ronaldo in 2007.
Forza Milan. I still prefer Maxwell before Kolarov. And don’t sell Taiwo in January… Give him another chance he didnt have much playing time to show his worth.

Santon and Criscito is not that great. Santon is as naive in defense as antonini. Criscito is a lil better but not the best option. I haven’t seen Molinaro play but he cant be worse than taiwo and antonini. Kolarov would be a very good coup.
Santon is average but he’s still young and he was good last match against ManU
Criscito is good…..has a lot of talent and i saw some of his games for Italy esp VS Spain he was awesome

I prefer a left back that plays or has played in serie A, which makes kolarov a good option. But IMO Balzaretti will be the best 4 dat role. And on d tevez issue is best we sign him now & use d rest of january 2 blend into the team than & also get him self match fit, cos i see him being benched by allegri as was the case with cassano last year.
i said it before that mr galiani approach to tevez transfer may backfire, having to wait till the end of january in other to grt him for free. this kind of approach only work in the 1950s 1960s. not now. you cant get every player for free when we are not signing ibrahim ba or christian vieri. if tevez dont arrive then he caused it. this deal could have been wrapped up immediately mancity agreed to loan him . now he is dedperate and offering pato in return. 0

Tevez is a gr8 player but selling pato @ dis time or even ever, is truely going to b a massive loss to us. Pato is clearly not at his best n dats chiefly due to injuries which is but a side effect of having to push urself a little too far. I doubt tevez wld b as determined to lift milan as does pato, even d price tag btw em says it all. WE still need to give taiwo the chance to play until the end of this year(maybe think of sending him off in the summer, but not now).

Galiani says we have an agreement with tevez and now await city’s responce(so obviously inter has agreement with city and yet to meet tevez,though his agent said they’ve not heard frm inter since summer).the report i have also says galiani met with the agent of vasco’s Dede.Fingers crossed guys…scene 1 act 2 continues.stay tuned

Tevez is a great player but he shouldn’t be a priority. What Milan need is a creative player who will play behind the strikers. The best option I think is Christian Erikssen. Van der Vaart is also good player but there is little chance he will come. I am not sure about Ganso. Didn’t watch him play but heard that his work rate is low so i feel that milan need more energetic player. Just look how well Boateng fit in. I don’t like the way galliani is persuing tevez. He has started with his stingy way of approaching players. If care is not taken intermilan will take him away from us n I will never forgive galliani n bellu shd this happen. They shd change their outmoded way of buying players n be a little serious cos milan is a big club not cesena.
I think kolarov must come and if taiwo wants to be on the 1st team he will have to earn it
