MARCO VAN BASTEN believes Milan would make a mistake if they will sell Alexandre Pato.
Pato has found it hard to play with consistent over the past few years as injuries stopped him from reaching full potential and after admitting lack of dialogue with Allegri, rumours about PSG came up.
Carlo Ancelotti said yesterday that he has no interest in taking Pato – who gave him a hug during Milan 1-0 PSG – and Dutch legend Marco van Basten thinks Milan should not give up on the 22-year-old forward.

Milan set for more Tevez talks
“Pato is young, strong and he’s someone who scores goals,” stated van Basten, who is widely considered one of the best strikers in the history of football. “It’d be a mistake to sell him. Only some serious financial problems at the club could justify his sale, otherwise letting him go wouldn’t be an acceptable decision.”
Milan’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been compared to van Basten, who spent eight years with the black & red shirt, winning the European Cup (=Champions League) two years in a row. Injuries forced his retirement.
Adriano Galliani has already confirmed that Pato is not for sale, but member of the board and Pato’s girlfriend – as well as daughter of Silvio Berlusconi – Barbara stated today that no player is “untouchable.”
