Manchester City ready to loan Tevez but…

CARLOS TEVEZ can be moved on loan only if Milan will be obligated to sign him, reports suggest.

Talks regarding the Tevez-deal continued on Thursday, as Milan sporting director Ariedo Braida met Manchester City’s Football Administration Officer Brian Marwood in London to discuss the Argentine.

The meeting, to which Tevez’s agent and a few more other people attended, ended after three hours according to media outlets in Italy but there are no real news as Milan’s position stays the same.

The Rossoneri are willing to take the 27-year-old on a free-loan with an option to sign him. It seems however, that Manchester City, who claimed in recent weeks that Tevez will only be sold in January, are ready to let the player leave on loan, but only if Milan will be obligated to buy the player for a fixed price.

The meeting was described as “cordial” by the Italian media. It is claimed that Milan will meet the leaders of City again in the next days as the goal of Milan is to get the former Man United man before the New Year.

Milan have already agreed terms with Tevez but City won’t accept Milan’s offer at this point. Braida, and FIFA agent Giuseppe Riso who flew with the Milan man to London, will return to Milano, Italy already tonight.

KingRossoneri

can teves play in the cl? some1 reply back to me quick..

Noor

No not this season.

marko

i’m not sure, but i think that there is another registration window after the group stages, and because Man City are out he might be able to play.:)

Zlatan

Welcome to Milan Tevez!

arya

people say galliani is amazing and he is but so is braida he does a lot for ac milan he goes on trips to countries to scout players and he does it well

vicente

This is how we should do business,i am very pleased

chris

Welcome development, let wait and see how it end.

cero

hope its a done deal.cant with for new signings to start coming in,to better the team.big ups.Braida

Pato7

Forza milan! Forza tevez!

Pasha

If he comes I hope he will gain his form back quick since he hasn’t played in a while. Also thank you Leonardo for coming out and saying PSG weren’t interested in signing Tevez which left us as main destination.

I also think we need to sign naingolan to shut down Arsenals pace and have a long term defensive mid

ronaldinho1992

He is not potential for our DMC.We need someone taller.Gattuso is very good defensive midfielder, but he is not tall.Nainggolan is similar to gattuso and i hope he will join to milan.Nocerino on left side, nainggolan on right side, two very good destroyer.Amazing!!!

deepak

christmas gift for AC MILAN fans FORZA ROSSONERO frm INDIA

OLOBIAN

I like milan sport adminstrator for their quality performance in footbal industry.

don

Not more dan €20 mil… Den its cool

ben

i’m not against this deal, he would help alot and a player of his quality can not be passed up, but if we have to buy him, we should really consider this deal, ibra, pato, robino, cassano, and tevez is kind of excessive.. with paloschi coming back from loan next year and the continued development of shaarawy.. seems like alot..

Benjo

i believe in galliani and his team, who that naingolan??

realyone

Welcome to the brotherhood

Giancarlo

This is making it increasingly likely he will join us. City have now conceded a loan is acceptable. It will be similar to Ibra’s deal.

Mr Goph

Great work by braida on getting one step closser to tevez. Hope he come’s soon so that Galliani can turn to other targets in time. Paulinho, sandro, Erikson, Ganso, monty or may Naingolan but i would prefer a great passer as we already lots of him. Anyway great work by braida and co today.!

Forza Rossoneri

Tevez will be a milan player soon and Sao paulo just confirmed that they will sell casemiro for only 10 million euros and that is a great price beacuse he will be just like thiago silva but on a higher position DM and thats good beacuse i think that milan will let van bommel gattuso flamini and seedorf go and buy mutch younger plyers than these players are

Milanest

very nice news…. hoping for more gifts……..

Marco_21

Guarantee the deal is exactly like Ibra’s.. It will be a loan for the first year then say $24 million paid over 3 years, so $8 million to City each of the next 3 years. Or could be for $20 million paid $10 million summer of 2012, then $5 million each of the next 2 following years. Have faith is Galliani, he will make it happen.

Rossonero 23

stop with the Naiongolan talk please, we dont need mediocre players from Cagliari…we need quality, someone like Sandro from Tottenham….we are AC milan, rmemember that!!! haha

Giancarlo

Nainggollan is a cla*ss midfielder, and he’s not mediocre. You said the same about Boateng who came from Portsmouth, and he turned out wonderfully. You also disliked Nocerino.

greg

yes Naingollan I wasn’t convinced with at first when I heard comparisons to Ambrosini but I was impressed with him versus Milan

greg

but I think the Cagliari president said a few weeks ago it would take a ridiculous offer to bag him

Marco_21

Nainggolan IMO would do fantastic for Milan.. Hes a hard nose midfielder something we need because Van Bommel and Ambro are on there way out. Nainggolan is an under the radar type player.. I hope we get him!

tobyPato

nice one for Milan, he will surely strengthen our attack but please want to ask wil tevez play for champions league for milan if signed

milanfan

he can’t play in the champions league. he’s cup tied. he can only play serie a and copa italia.

rossoneri no 1

is tevez iligble 2 play in CL

Noor

No he is not eligible to play in CL this season.

Nyemasem

Am happy for him.

cero

no tevez is not eligible for the cl.he played.15mins against Napoli.1st leg

lado

House i heard the milan already have a verbal agreement to sign keita from barcelona on a free transfer in june. i guess that will add some flair to our midfield.

Bashmilan

Tevez can’t play 4 us in d CL cos he’s already featured 4 mancity in their first game against napoli,so he’s ineligible.sad though cos i wish he could play 4 us in d CL,anyway will be useful in serie A.

cero

rosso 23.stop this your class ish.you are not the president of milan.only wasteful spenders like city n madrid talk of nonsense class.

D-Bo

As I watch Tottenham right now, all I can say is that Sandro would be perfect for Milan. With he and Nocerino in midfield, no one would get through. He doesn’t get that many games with Parker and VdV as the preferred central pairing, but I would love to have him.

My order of players would be:
1. ACM – preferably Lucas, but hopefully a creative influence
2. Sandro
3. A central defender like Dede and the return of Albertazzi (how is he doing on his loan spell?)
4. A left back – no real preferences

Phil8686

Something still tells me this deal means the end for Robinho. I dont think we can have robinho pato ibra cassano inzaghi and el shaarwwy and tevez next year

Walexis

Welcom carlitos

Simo

So it’s just the question of time. They agreed in main terms. So what i think, this contract will have a closure like Aquilani’s. If he plays at least around 15 games, we have to buy him. Galliani and Braida can always win their matches…

For this winter, Tevez, a CM/DM (Montolivo? Casemiro?), and Merkel would be enough. Taiwo and Antonini looking to improve, so we don’t need an LB so much until summer.

sammy

pls galliani, help us sign naingolan. He is a gud player and a box to box midfielder. Him and noce can stop arsenal runs. See how he play against us. We dont need old leg dat day, i dont want what happen in 2008 against them to happen again, pls galliani sign him

Jamotech

Welcome to milan tevez…………We welcome u to rossoneri family.Forza milan for tevez. From nigeria…………Add me on facebook by clicking d below link http://www.facebook.com/jamotech

Benjo

sandro is perfect and best dmf for milan, he can fix our midfield problem but i dont think they sell him to milan cause they dont sell their stars

Ted

If they agree on installments it won’t be good either… It means in summer they’ll just have less budget for other transfers… They have to cash on others too (Merkel, Shaarawy, Ibra…). And besides Cas*sano is coming back… Robinho out?

Kylon

I loved Nainggolan’s work rate. He was exceptional from a defensive and tactical point of view.

aweda

hhhhmmm tevez that great.

TC MILAN

welcome 2 san siro carlitos.

benny

tevez will be good signing for us! we must also get montolivo, and maybe nainngolan or de rossi to strenthen our midfield plus one defender then we,ll conquer the world. forza milan! merry x-mas to all!

nick

I would rather Milan sign Manuel Vargas over Montolivo! Vargas can also play LB or Left mid to replace Seedorf!

Montolivo is not a necessity in my opinion and he is not that good as many believe!

New signings for Jan: Tevez-2nd Striker/playmaker, Sandro-DM, Vargas or Kolorov(LB/Left midfield)

Red&Black-indo

obligation to buy? how much?

greg

The Sao Paolo president has said Casemiro is available for $10m, forget Tevez and sign him!

nick

Casemiro over Tevez? Definitely No! Not every Brazilian players are that good! The most of them are just hype!

I would take Lucas if I had to choose a brazilian over Tevez!

greg

Tevez is probably a better player but I think we need Casemiro more, we don’t have 4 quality players in his position like we do Tevez

Yehez Kiel

i really hope robinho doesnt go away if tevez comes…….. i really like robinho and itll be sad if he leaves cause i think he really loves milan, and this might sound crazy but i would prefer robinho over tevez, though robinho MUST work on his finishing.. just way too many sitters missed… but other than that he is great! but hopefully if tevez comes robinho stays and allegri can work out a rotation to please all of the players… FORZA MILAN!
