STEPHAN EL SHAARAWY is eager to get more chances and prove his worth with the Milan shirt.
When El Shaarawy was presented as a Milan player this summer, after coming from Genoa on co-ownership, Milan said they’re counting on him for the future as Galliani even called him Kaka’s heir.
Stephan got a few chances this year and even scored a goal. He recently was called-up for the Italian under21 national team for the first time since February and feels ready to feature more regularly.
Inzaghi: “My dream is to retire at Milan”
Galliani opens door to striker signing
“I always felt very at home here at Milan, right from the start and this season so far I have played five games and scored one goal. I know I haven’t been playing much but I am very happy to be here,” the 19-year-old said on Monday. “I had some injury problems at the start but now I feel great and I want to keep doing well.”
With Antonio Cassano out, El Shaarawy could get more chances, despite the fact Milan are looking for January reinforcement in attack. “I saw him in hospital and he was laughing and joking away as usual,” he added. “I am an out-and-out striker and in training I want to show what I can do and I feel ready to play in this team. I have gained experience in Serie B and now I hope to get more playing time here in the future.”
Roberto La Florio, the player’s agent, said today that he believes that the Rossoneri are counting on Stephan and the player can fill the shoes of Cassano. La Florio is convinced that El Shaarawy will do well.

Oh please!!!!!….Maybe in the next 4-5yrs…Not now..He should be loaned…& he needs to muscle up!!!!
Would you shut up? I knew you were in here. You wanted to loan him to a different league… like to the PRemier League… you’re kidding me right?
Lol!!!
You have till january to prove ur self or else u should wait till nxt year
Hope Allegri plays you
Milanista… Yeah I agree lets get Del Piero instead of him. No wait, I don’t, give him some chance we can’t compete in the UCL this year anyway, and with the league we should be ok for sure, so why not?
Like KaKa? Hell yeah. El Shaarawy should be playing about as much as anyone else while Cassano is out. We don’t really need any new additions, if you ask me. El Shaarawy can fill Robinho’s spot, as well as the 2 spots upfront. All we need now is for Allegri to field the right players…
El Shaarawy can prove his worth- and he’ll get more chance than Merkel and Strasser did last year. I think he is a natural born talent.
Next Gourcuff in the making Ladies and Gentlemen. And all becuz Allegri doesnt wanna play him.
lol.personally i feel he shuld grow @ milan lyk pato.no loan pls
El Shaarawy said he plays best as an attacking midfielder, but I think he’s best as a second striker. Either way… he’s no winger. He should stay and prove his worth. Merkel and Stras*ser weren’t worth 10 million euros (and still aren’t)… I at first wasn’t willing to give Stephan a chance, but I think he deserves it. He has worked very hard. And last I checked Robinho wasn’t the strongest biggest guy either… in fact a bit skinny. But he’s still vital for our build-up play nobody seems to care about.
have you seen merkel for genoa?he is the best player for at least the last few games, including the juventus game. he even had an assist in that game. he is definately the best prospect in serie a right now, hence the rumors that wed buy him back in january. he will almost definately be a starter here in 2-3 years if not next year. strasser is no where at this level, but has impressed and even scored last week. either way el sharaawy does deserve playing time.
Goodluck Il faraone. Hope to see u get some more playing bro, But it’s up to Mr Allegri to decide when u play so hope u do ur thing when u re selected. FORZA ALLEGRI, FORZA SES AND FORZA MILAN.
there’s no need to replace Cassie… i believe this mohawk boy, he has it all… if we need a reinforcement it should be our mid. montolivo will be Great!! and if ganso comes our team will up to the next level!!Ganso also can provide creativiy that cassie leaves…
he shud’ve played a part in the last game…if not for boneras injury..he probably wud’ve come on…
shar and inzaghi up front.oldest and yungest.ibra amf.we wil see goals like 7-0.y doesnt ambro hustle lyk inz?
If Ganso comes it ll be good. Let Shar grow up at Milan like Pato but not for loan
wish u all the best el shaarawy. imo, the most skillful young players in milan (serie A and primavera) at this moment are el shaarawy and kingsley boateng. they are milan future. allegri, please give them more playing time
I would like to see him get more chances, but expect they would only come against those at the bottom of table. I don’t see a problem in that as he is only 19.
I look forward to watching this kid develop. Hopefully he will be part of a youth movement for this squad (including Merkel, Paloschi, Albertazzi, Verdi, the Mattias, etc.).
