MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI is waiting for his players to return and says the Milan haven’t lost their appeal.
Milan have started the Serie A season in a rather sluggish form, losing twice and their only two away games, as they picked-up only five points from the opening five fixtures and they currently lie 15 in the table.
The league is still long, but Milan’s performances, even when they won, were unconvincing this year. However, coach Massimiliano Allegri is sure Milan are still a force but they have to return to winning ways.
Inzaghi: “I do not know how to live without football”
Moggi: “I was about to join Milan”
“We only have a few points on the table after the opening five games so we have to get back on track bearing in mind the positives and the negatives that we’ll take from the start of the season,” Allegri, who replaced Leonardo 2 years ago, told Milan Channel after the session in training center Milanello yesterday.
“We’ll get back in the league after a few players come back which will allow us to play intense football but without being nervous. The club hasn’t lost its appeal because of the losses at Naples and Turin. We thought we would have done better but the league is long and there’ll be time to make the points back.”
Milan started the year with many injuries, which also caused fatigue as the same players played everytime.
“Robinho is already training well enough. We’ll see in the next few days if he’ll be able to play a part against Palermo. Ibra will be back with the right determination to get back winning and to do that we’ll all have to work together and stay calm. We’ll be back working all together on Wednesday [after the break] and we’ll be preparing ourselves for what’ll be an important month both in Seria A and the UCL,” he added.
Yeah you do that.Or you’ll get Sacked by Don Berlusconi Muwhahahahahahhahahaha
Get back on track, first step get rid of Allegri. Unless we want more and more defensive mids and more left backs without actually giving them a chance.
Hmmmm….Something’s not right here.Shaddy hasnt been here moaning about Mr.X for quite sometime.I miss him and his trolling too )=.I mean i LMAO-ed every time he said “Where is Mr.X”.
I really don’t like they way we play and they was he is using his ‘tactics’ :P, I don’t believe in that he is the right coach for us. Come on guys lets give him at least a chance 😀
I wonder if he even knew the transfer was over,The only thing i miss about him is his spelling of Berlusconi and Galliani he is very funny.
Allegri deserve a second chance.. If we lose against Palermo, then you will know what I will do to this man!
Well he wld have the players but i’m not worried for he’s a good coach well milan is said to be lining up a bid for Ganso…lol I rather wait till january to see who comes and goes and Barca wants Thiago Silva hope they are ready to spend 40million Pounds Cuz he’s worth that for the least in my opinion….and they have good players frm there squad but they can’t get a player to replace Puyol who turns 34 in August hmmm and plp say he’s as good as General Nesta What a Joke!!! Forza Milan
SAF Praised him so he’s gotta be good
have faith
So If SAF say: Bonera is the best player of Milan, so he’s gotta be good?
SAF wld never said that for bonera is a goat all Italian coaches frm Trapatoni to Anchelotti says he’s a Great Coach in the making even Pep said he’s a good coach He’s using what he has and he’ll have more options when players return to fitness plus there are both Transfer window so I expect milan to win the Scudetto once players are fit and at least make Semi’s in the Champions league. I’ll ask you all a question as Fans in this Blog if he get’s fired cuz apparently most plp in here want that cuz You the… Read more »
Guus Hiddink or Frank Rijkaard.
No way. Hiddink is nothing special, and Rijkaard is terrible at managing big personalities…
ancelotti
Rijkaard without a doubt the 1 coach i would love to have at milan . Ex player who won everything with us and also the coach who setup this current barcelona team. He’s family and jus look at the success we had under Ancelotti, these 2 were teamates. Milan is a family so we should look to hire our own ex players who know what it is to play for Milan and what is expected of Milan
well interesting answers but allegri is good enough for me at the moment doh get me wrong last season I was like Allegri Who? but he’s done good so far, against barca I thought we were doom cuz of injuries and he proved me wrong he reminds me of Don Fabio Mixed with Marcelo Lippi in my opinion those who watched Italian football Long enough wld knw these two coaches style with Allegri Sky is the Limit he does not dwell in the past though he uses what he has which isn’t much compared to what past coaches had to… Read more »
Oh another Loser Coach Praising him isnt really what i want.If Sacchi had praised him then i would take it under consideration
Ancelotti is also a ‘loser’ coach? and who else do u think is better than Allegri? u want to end up like Chelsea or Inter sacking a coach each year?
look where thats got ’em
Guus Hiddink and Rijkaard PWN Allegri.
Also Ancelotti wasn’t that great either(although much better then Allegri) but he had an Amazing Team back then.
Actually neither of them do. I have to tell you that. Allegri is a great coach and you are not in a position to talk about him like this.
who is the loser coach? Ferguson????
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has aked his president to make an effort to sign AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, also tracked by Anzhi and Manchester City. It seems that the former Inter Milan coach has promised to the player to build a team that could win the Champions League. http://www.footballpress.net
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan Sports Director Ariedo Braida has flown to Brazil to observe striker Leandro Damiao and midfielder Oscar, both at Internacional de Porto Alegre… footballpress.net
is this Oscar the midfielder in one of brazil’s youth teams? i was watching a match the other day with him playing, and he impressed me. don’t know much about damiao, though.
This is time to exchange ibra with tevez or balotelli.alegri should change his mind.4-3-1-2 is rubish.we should play 4-2-3-1and yepes is far better than boner .even diciglio or ely are better
Apparently you arent a Milan Fan since we have used 4-3-1-2 for the better half of the Decade.
4-3-1-2 RULES.4-2-3-1 SUCKS.And 4-3-1-2 is the only Formation where the No.10 Player shines(we need to buy a new No.10 ASAP).
I have faith in Allegri jus not the squad. i miss flamini 🙁
almost all of our players will be back after break so have faith people!
That is great news, its looks like Pato can make it against BATE Borisov 😛
ANYWAY AS OUR TRADITION LETS HAV FAITH WITH D PLAYER dat WE HAV NOW, MAX ALEGRI IS A GOOD COACH , WE KNOW D CONDITION OF D TEAM B4 DURIN MORIHNO SAGA , WE SAW HOW INTER DESTORY OUR FORZA MILAN .. ALEGRI CAME AND DESTROY DEM WIT OUR FOMR COACH FMR PLAYER AND FMR SPORTING DIRECTOR….
after zalatan left inter, inter won UCL. again he left barcalona, bacarlona won UCL. so, we should let him go. than, we will win UCL. am i right? just need to buy Ganso, Erickson, get back Astori, one more goalkeeper, and two more great strikers.
Believe wenger in milan :):):):):):):)
Wenger would do good at ajax. Never at Milan. We are a family of champions. We should look to hire ex players. i.e Rijkaard and some others. But he is my top choice.
Losing Ibra now will be a disaster for Milan.. Lets be realistic.
Yes it would seriously hurt us.
All this talk about Ibra and Allegri leaving is disgusting and has to end.
I learnt we are also making a bid for Udinese’s Benatia.
Love this new bandwagon around here… lets get rid of Allegri… it’s mind boggling. We need our players back. Any talk of getting rid of Allegri is just downright immature. I have to be open and honest here.
@Giancarlo Have it your way dude but Allegri has been pissing me off lately.I mean Subbing in Ambro vs Juve was a Dumb Decision and a Small-Team Mentality one.
I don’t agree at all. We had an injury crisis and clearly lacked players in midfield. He was out of options. And I don’t care who pisses you off. You seem to be angry all the time. You don’t listen to reason or logic.
OH FFS Yes he had he shouldnt of have subbed Nocerino nor Ca$$ano(who was picking his game up).He should have subbed KPB for El Sharaawy or Urby,Yepes for Nesta and Antonini for Bonera. The subs he made were all wrong.
If Allegri doesn’t grow some balls and dares to try different things, it’s time to let him go.
If you think Allegri was the determining factor for last year’s Scudetto, then you are dead-wrong.
This had nothing to do with bandwagoning. I never cared for his coaching, but I ignored it because the players were doing so good and winning anyways.
Please stop with the 4-3-1-2 madness…..
LOL You serious? Actually, you’re the one that’s dead wrong. So far everyone of your opinions have been inaccurate. It’s totally about bandwagoning.
Allegri totally is involved with the players, unlike you. His management style matters… as he maintains good relations with the players. This is something Rikjaard failed at doing.
And 4-3-1-2 isn’t madness. It’s a very balanced formation that works. Seriously, start watching more football please. Many top teams employ 4-3-1-2. You’ll see almost none employ 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-2-1…
well right now we r missing the (1) in the formation cuz Allegri doesnt trust Aqilani,Robinho or Casano in that position but BOA thats really weird
Real, Spain, Bayern, Germany, Holland 5 of the best teams in the world all deploy a 4-2-3-1. I can’t think of one top team that uses a 4-3-1-2, I don’t count Milan and Inter as top teams after their recent european displays. Inter won the champions league 2 years ago because they switched from a 4-3-1-2 to a 4-2-3-1 since Mourinho realised that a 4-3-1-2 may work in Serie A but not Europe. I’m very happy teams with pace and width Napoli, Juve and Udinese have set the early pace. It will hopefully show Milan and Inter that their 4-3-1-2… Read more »
I think you’re confusing formations. And you’re quite wrong. None of those teams employ 4-2-3-1. In fact very few do. Mourinho often opts for a 3 man midfield. Same thing with Barcelona which employs 4-3-3. Try again. Off the mark once again. 4-3-1-2 is NOT outdated. You’re off the mark.
I never said Barca, you’re off the mark. All of these teams DO play a 4-2-3-1. Of course they might tinker but that is their first choice system. Why would you say none of these teams use a 4-2-3-1 when it’s simply not true?
Also I said THEIR 4-3-1-2 is outdated meaning Milan’s and Inter’s that have too many destroyers, once again off the mark. I’m not trolling you but I’m not going to get called on stuff that I’ve not said.
Thats right! Forza Milan
I think you’re good but what the hell is wrong with your sixth sense man.buckleup bro
milan needs a rossonery legend to be the manager. someone who is also capable of managing a team. a legend will give spirit to the team. maldini is too young for that now but i believe van basten is a good option
Baresi,Costacurta or Tasotti(who actually really knows the players personally) anyone.
Giancarlo..pls,apart from milan and inter..which other team uses 4-3-1-2 all the time…no flexibility.. Even chelsea know they hav no AMF,so they use 4-3-3
There are quite a few teams that use 4-3-1-2… or 4-3-3… which are pretty close to each other.
When you have no proper AMF, you dare not use 4-3-1-2… 4-3-3 will be good..robinho and pato are used to that kind of role..but our dear Allegri likes AMF that tracks back all the time
We do have a Proper AM his name is El Sharaawy but Allegri wont give him a chance to play in there!
Pato and robinho are not wing forwards, so they wont work in 4-3-3
Who says that we cant win the ucl with 4-3-1-2?
