Milan have been linked with Paulo Henrique Ganso for two years now, but have never made an official move for the player, and are also unexpected to make such thing now as he’s not what they look for.
It is well-known that the Rossoneri are searching for a box-to-box left-sided midfielder (mezz’ala), and the main targets seem to be Liverpool’s Alberto Aquilani (27) and Fiorentina’s Riccardo Montolivo (26).

“Ganso? He is different [from Aquilani, a side midfielder], but he could fit,” said Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani of the 21-year-old attacking mid from Santos as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

we keep saying we need a left midfielder when in fact we actually need a right midfielder…..robinho and cassano can play in left midfield but we don’t have someone like nani, krasic or walcott (not saying we should get him) to rampantly run down the right flank….and be honest boateng isn’t fast enough….please gallaini get someone like hazard!!!

Galliani likes to play a lot. It’s really confusing makes me nervous. If Cassano deal goes through with Genoa offering 10mil + Kucka (for which i hope is more than just a rumour) we would get Kucka and with 10mil we could buy Montolivo. The rest could be for Ganso if not now then in January. Three quality MIDs although i don’t know much bout Kucka but he looks promising

Robinho can easily play on the left midfield, although I sense a lot of people don’t like him. He has been playing decently lately. He is a solid “role” player. Imperative word here being “role”.
Can’t u guys open your eyes and really take a close look. Ganso can be the next kaka for milan.He’s only 21 years of age and Milan need to start recruiting young players to get some experience for the future. If they continue with these old players maybe the entire sqaud will retire at the same time. bringing a brazilian into the squad will stenghten it because these players play with great energy, and maybe the style of playing can change with more position like barca and the brazilians play.
