DANILO is the target of Milan, not Ganso – reports suggest.
The Rossoneri management have decided who they want to take the second non-EU slot that will probably be given to them on Tuesday when the FIGC has the vote on this issue and they have chosen Danilo.
The “competition” was between Paulo Henrique Ganso and Danilo Luis da Silva, both of Santos, 21 and 19 respectively, and according to sportmediaset.it, the board has decided to put its money on the latter.

Milan have taken two parameters into consideration when they made the decision: Ganso is worth €35m while Danilo would be available for €15m and also the attacking midfielder gets injured quite often.
The young Brazilian started the season as a right-back but later moved to the right-midfielder role, where he really shone. He can play the mezz’ala role both on the right or left, being ambidextrous.
There is a stiff competition for Danilo, with Benfica already making a formal approach and Juventus also showing interest. However, Adriano Galliani and co. are not quite worried about this competition.
Danilo’s card is divided: Santos own 37.5% of his card, DIS (with whom Milan have an excellent rapports) own 37.5% as well while the rest is a property of his former club América (MG).
Santos say the player will not move this summer but Danilo admitted that he’s not sure if he stays.

Ibra is the only one and Robinho needed 9 matches to score… they are atackers they get ball and score… I think that playmaker have to know team better..

Ganso had allot of injuries, but he is still young, and we need a creative midfielder. He is more creative than Danilo. I prefer Ganso over Danilo.

no way are barca going to sell alcantara. his part of their future plans and has a buyout clause of 90 million euros.
I think Danilo would fit in perfectly as he is very versatile. He can be a backup for Abate or he can play in midfield. He’s young and talented plus he’s cheaper than Ganso.

You’re absolutely right. But i’d prefer signing a trequarista (Ganso) first, then buy Danilo in the winter market. Ganso needs more time to adapt our play, then a versatile player like Danilo.
Sneider,robben,fabrigas,and pato all injury prone yet they are all doing fine with their various clubs.With time,you guys will know the player ganso is.Ganso performed fairly well at the 2009 world youth champ and ever since then this guy has been improving tremendously.Milan needs a player like ganso who is skillful,has accurate passes and plays good shots.Ganso is a real classical No.10.Welcome Ganso!

I am fed up with rumors and talk….. at the beginning of last season’s transfer window it was said that ibra has no chance of joining milan and that he will join some other club( being said about all our big name targets)….. so i think i will stop reading the news and wait for the 31st of august to come and then i will check the list of acquired players……………

Giancarlo, you are correct in what you say. But even without CL experience, Ganso is far better than Nasri. The Brazilian is very effective near opponent’s final third. His playing style and attributes will fit well here in Milan.
Nasri is adapted to European football though, and believe me, I’m not a Nasri fan. I’d prefer Ganso, but Santos doesn’t have to sell to anyone. They are like the Barcelona of South America… they have a lot of money and powerful investors.

Whatever happens or whoever comes to Milan I just hope it will be someone young and talented NOT someone over 30yrs old and NOT someone who is not a quality player like Lazzari.
Knowing Mr Galliani Milan might just get a player or players we are not linked with like Eden Hazard, Juan Mata, Lucas or franck ribery.

Mr Galliani is known for using the media and players as smoke screen to get who he really wants. Lucas of Sao Paolo is similar to Kaka with his speed and technical ability and he can play as a trequartista or a second striker. Lucas might just be the player Mr Galliani wants this summer.

Danilo? hmm.. i think we had better focus to bring Daniele de Rossi and Samir Nasri. both of them are worldclass midfielders, big game players, great goal instinct, and very great to put in any positions in the midfield.

@ Kola, have you ever noticed one thing when Ganso is playing? The skills he displays while having possession. Whenever the ball is in his feet, near opponents goal, there are always thoughts in everyone mind that he is gonna do something special. He dribbles and controls the way like he is a mature player or sometimes he looks left-footed Zidane. He is one of a kind and it would be so stupid if we failed in snatching him for Santos.
Madrid scored 5 goals against Spurs. But we couldnt let a single ball in. Why? Just because we didnt had a brilliant trequartista. Some say that we had injury problems and they were correct. Imagine if we had Ganso instead of Seedorf as an attacking mid, while Pato and Ibra as forwards. We could had easily beaten them. But now, whenever I go out wearing a Milan shirt, EPL lovers in my community laughs and mocks at me. We desperately need. Creative mid. Danilo is versatile and can play in most positions in midfield and rb, but we need a true playmaker who can dictate the game.
Sniejder would be great in our team, and any team would be happy to have him in their team. But Milan wouldn’t cuz he plays for Inter and i dont want Milan to get sum1 from them. VDV would be a GREAT signing. He would do a similar job to what Sniejder does, but I dont think TOT will sell their best player. Especially wen then wanna Qualify 4 CL.
