OGUCHI ONYEWU has just returned, but can leave again.
The American defender returned to Milan after an unsuccessful loan spell with Dutch side FC Twente but the Rossoneri have no intention of possessing him as he could be loaned out again, this time to Portugal.
According to the Belgian media and the site of the Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Sporting Clube de Portugal (known also as Sporting or Sporting CP) have shown interest in the 29-year-old center back.

there are many players on this current team, who are not Milan quality, Gooch being one of them. Yepes is another….Bonera,Antonini..
Um no. Yepes is a good utility player, and he always filled in very well when Nesta was playing. I agree wtih you on Bonera… but I think Antonini should stay another season as a utility player. Yepes > Onyewu.

Our standards haven’t dropped. Mediocrity? Sorry but this isn’t a Juventus website. Yepes was a utility signing. We’ve done that in the past. Even in the early 1990s. You can’t have a starting 11 consisting of all world class players. The world simply doesn’t work that way. Every team has it’s utility players. Even Barcelona (Maxwell, Adriano, Keita). Utility players help maintain continuity in the league in the long haul. You can’t expect players like Nesta and Thiago Silva to play all the time. Regardless, we have Mexes and he’ll be recovering.
