STEPHAN EL SHAARAWY will officially be a Milan player after having his medical check-ups.
The deal of 18-year-old Stephan El Shaarawy is nearly done as after the youngster takes his final exams and has the medical check-ups, he will sign a contract with AC Milan, confirms his agent, Roberto La Florio.
Milan pay Genoa €10 million for 50% of El Shaarawy’s contract.

“He’s practically a Milan player,” La Florio said today. “He just has to have his medical. He’ll immediately be a part of the Milan squad. He has good prospects for the future and I’m sure that he’ll do well.
“Milan have made such investments already with other players, such as [Alexandre] Pato. I believe that if they have invested in El Shaarawy it’s only because they’re convinced he can grow at Milanello.”
Alexander Merkel has been sent to Genoa on co-ownership. El Shaarawy, who played the last season with Serie B side Padova and scored 9 goals, will start training with the team after the vacation is over.

It is nothing like the Adiyiah situation. Adiyiah had barely any experience with anyone. The only experience he had was with the Ghana Premiere League team Heart of Lions. A team that is not anywhere near even Serie B. Adiyiah made his money from the Under-20 World Cup. But when you look at his scoring for club it was poor. but the thing is, Genoa also paid Milan 5mil for half of Merkel’s contract…this means that although both these players are overpriced, it seems as though both Genoa and Milan value these 2 young players very highly, but El Sharaawy a bit more (whether this is correct or not I dont know).
So effectively, the deal is half of Merkel plus 5mil for half of El Sharaawy. Hopefully both players develop into good ones, but we will have to wait and see.

CAssano isn’t an AMF. He’s a second striker… Cassano needs to get into shape. We need to get Ganso now. It is now confirmed the FIGC will make a rule change on June 28th. Boateng isn’t an AMF… neither is Robinho. We don’t really have a real AMF… only Seedorf is… but he sucks in that position.
