MARCO AMELIA has been bought out while Sokratis Papastathopoulos returns to Genoa.
After announcing deals with Genoa regarding Kevin-Prince Boateng and Alberto Paloschi, Milan have moved to formalize co-ownerships and sells they’ve done with the club from Genoa.
Four players who were owned or partly-owned by Genoa are now 100% Rossoneri – 3 of them are products of Milan’s youth academy while Marco Amelia is also added to that list as Milan decided to buy him out.

“Milan have signed outright Marco Amelia, Nnamdi Odu, Rodney Strasser and Gianmarco Zigoni; have sold outright Sokratis Papastathopoulos and renewed the part-ownership of Giacomo Beretta,” a statement reads.
Beretta will be playing for Genoa next season.
